IT'S been a season of twists and turns in the Scottish Premiership and the drama looks set to continue tonight with all 12 teams in action.
It looked like Celtic had left the door open for Rangers to close the gap to a point on Sunday following their 0-0 draw at Easter Road but the Gers threw away a two-goal lead at home to Motherwell, leaving the Hoops three points clear at the top.
Celtic host St Mirren tonight and home fans will be hoping for a repeat of their earlier 6-0 win over the Buddies rather than the 0-0 draw they were held to in Paisley. Of course, Saints' manager Jim Goodwin has left for pastures new and been replaced by Stephen Robinson since then, and he's taken over the reigns of a side that suffered their first defeat in nine against Hearts at the weekend.
Celtic's goalless draw was the fifth time they've failed to score in the top flight this season and that must be a concern when they go up against teams that employ a defensive set-up against them. An early goal is often crucial and it's no surprise that it's been a feature of Celtic matches with 62% of their goals in the league coming in the first half.
The time of the first goal has been set at 23:00 by Bet365 at 5/6.
Plenty of punters have weighed in on Celtic corners this season but they've come unstuck in the last couple of games however it's worth persevering tonight. There's plenty of angles but if St Mirren sit in it's unlikely they'll win many corners at the other end so Celtic to win the -5 corner handicap should be worth taking on at 10/11.
Rangers have yet to win an away league game this calendar year and Giovanni Van Bronckhurst has some selection issues ahead of their trip to Perth with Ramsay, Davis, Jack, Diallo and Helander all expected to miss out so he'll need to make the most of his squad.
St Johnstone are fighting for their Premiership lives but missed a huge opportunity at Dingwall on Saturday, going down 3-1 to Ross County so every match is a cup final as they try to catch up the teams above above them and at the very least keep their noses ahead of Dundee.
Goals have been a struggle for Saints for most of the season, although they have scored in five of their last six but if you fancy a Rangers win you could do worse than take the 5/6 on an away win to nil.
If St Johnstone lose it gives Dundee the chance to leapfrog them at the foot of the table but things haven't started particulalrly well under Mark McGhee. Having played well in a 3-2 defeat at Celtic Park the dark blues were thumped 4-0 at home to Livi and need to pick themselves up for the visit of Hibs.
They've a poor recent record against the Hibees though and Shaun Maloney's side are now unbeaten in three but injuries are mounting up and Kevin Nisbet's knock at the weekend looked a serious one.
Over 2.5 Goals at even money can't be overlooked at Fir Park since it has landed in nine of the last 10 meetings between Motherwell and Ross County. County games average a league high of 3.17 goals while Motherwell have found the net in 11 of 14 at home.
Also in Scotland Kilmarnock and Raith Rovers meet in the semi-final of the Scottish Challenge Cup and it's a surprise to see Kille at 4/5 to win inside the 90 minutes. Raith are a bit of a shambles at the moment and definitely worth taking on at that price which would be a fair bit shorter if this was a league game.

Summary
Impossible to ignore Celtic’s corners stats against St mirren this season!
Morning all,
I posted these up yesterday so hopefully people got the better odds.
🏴Celtic v St Mirren
🔘Celtic 8+ corners: 8/11 (bet365)
💰5pts NAP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🔘Celtic -2.5 first half corner handicap: 5/6 (LiveScore Bet)
💰3pts NB ⭐️⭐️⭐️
🔘Celtic 14+ corners: 9/1 (bet365)
💰0.5pts longshot ⭐️
After a poor performance on the weekend, Celtic are back at home and looking to get back to winning ways. Despite not playing well away at Hibs, Celtic still hit 8 corners and I’m backing them to replicate that at home tomorrow.
Celtic have hit 8+ corners in 9/12 home games this season and in recent games have been extremely prolific, hitting 80 corners in their last 7 games (14,13,10,8,14,10,11) so you’d have to back them to get 8 more tonight.
Celtic average 4.92 first half corners and have hit 4 in 11/13 home games but we are only getting 8/13 for 4FHC which is way too short. However, I’ve managed to find -2.5 first half corner handicap at 5/6 which is a great price. If Celtic get their usual 4-5 corners, you’d be surprised to see St Mirren get 2+ with all the defending they’ll be doing.
Finally, in the 2 meetings between these teams this season, Celtic have hit 15 and 16 corners v St Mirren. With that in mind, the long shot is well worth a go.

🏴St Johnstone v Rangers
🔘Bet: St Johnstone 4+ corners: 1/1 (Bet365)
💰2.5 pts ⭐️⭐️⭐️
On the road Rangers do concede plenty of corners. In recent away days they’ve conceded: 6,10,4,6,10,6 corners. In fact, they’ve conceded 4+ in 8 of their last 9 games.
St Johnstone may be down the bottom but they average 5.43 corners at home and have hit: 6,7,8,4 in their last 4 home games.
Finally, in this same fixture earlier in the season v Rangers they hit 6. St Johnstone even hit 3 at Ibrox.
Even money for 4 corners at home has to be taken on in my opinion. Especially when St Johnstone are desperate for the points.
Good luck everyone 👍🏻
Here is my figures for Feb:
NAPs – 10/15 (67% win rate)
NB’s – 7/11 (64% win rate)
Long shots – 3/9 (5/1 win) (16/1 win) (3/1 win) (33% win rate)
(34 points profit overall)
February was a good month and I’m delighted to have turned another decent profit. It could have been spectacular if Celtic corners had landed v Aberdeen and Bodo away but we can’t win them all.
Fingers crossed March is equally as kind to us. 👍🏻💵💵
Well done Kris. You and Parsley have made me a few quid in Feb, softening the blow of Storm Eunice. Here’s to a good March.

Klopp will obviously rotate a few players for tonight’s game but even so with Liverpool you know what you are going to get, they only play one way no matter who plays and that’s attacking football.Norwich have the same problem they will rotate as they have a relegation fight on their hands and play Brentford Saturday afternoon. but they don’t have the luxury of resting players and still maintaining the same level of football.Liverpool should win but instead of opting for goals i’m siding with the corner market as the prices look generous.
best of luck

They appear to be playing their regular starting XI.
It’s the same line up that beat Basel 4-2 at the weekend and also started the league match before that.I don’t know for sure but I’d assume that’s their strongest available just now. Hope this helps.

Good job on the nap 👌
Nb.. Liverpool lost the second half though sadly
Liverpool ht/ft won sadly
What has Liverpool losing the second half got to do with anything they won ft that’s all that matters.
It’s not a market i’ve done myself.
As i understood it the team. In this case Liverpool had to win both the first half and the second half.
They won the first half 2-0
But lost the second half 0-1
If anyone can add anything?
Nope your thinking of win both halves,ht/ft is win the first half and win the game.
Ah yeah that’s what i was thinking of, apologies. I stand corrected.
Good wins 👌
It’s a bet i do every time my team play at home, big stakes and very rarely loses.
