Yes, according to the bookies who rate the Scots as 1/5 chances to win in Chișinău. But that price would be considered short for even the most ardent member of the Tartan Army. The Moldovans prop up Group F, their only point coming at home to the Faroes, and Scotland huffed and puffed to a 1-0 win when the sides met at Hampden in September.

The price on this was bigger than I thought it would be so happy to just take a nap today. Liechtenstein concede goals for fun regardless of opponent, seeing 34 goals conceded in their last 5 with no reply, Austria took 6 off Azerbaijan in the reverse fixture in September without their opponents even having a shot on target and Belgium took 3 off Turkey in the reverse in September away from home and have a good record for goals against better teams than Turkey.
Very tempted to have a look at Austria team goals over 2.5 and 3.5 at 5/4 and 11/4 for a bit of extra interest as reckon they should be far too good for Azerbaijan again.

South Melbourne FC have long been one of the best funded and well supported sides in Victoria (along with Bentleigh Greens). They have more supporters than most of the A-League sides (no joke!). They were the giants of the old NSL (National Soccer League), which was the premiere competition here before the A-League. And were the club where Ange Postecoglou first made his name as a coach. It’s all a bit political as to why they haven’t been in the A-League, but they’re a decent side who will relish trying to punish Melbourne City.
I honestly think the quality of the A-League has long since surpassed what South Melbourne FC have in their ranks, but I still wouldn’t be surprised if they gave a weakened City side, a bit of a test. City should logically still have too much quality, and I’d say your tips are on the money, as per usual, Sean.
