The EFL Trophy group stage reaches its conclusion this week and it's the usual minefield for punters.
Liverpool's Academy team make the trip to Port Vale for Sky Sports' live match tonight. The Reds' Under 21 squad have struggled so far in the tournament, losing and conceding four goals in each of their other matches against Bolton and Rochdale so no surprise to see them as 4/1 outsiders here.

Aston Villa's kids have fared best with three wins from three while Wolves and Chelsea have already booked their place in the next round. Liverpool, Man City, Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Brighton's teams can still qualify if results go their way.
Matches are averaging 3.36 goals per game so goals bets could be the best option. Unfortunately Skybet don't have any of their Total Goals Specials available but it's worth keeping checking.
Leicester City's youngster have shipped nine goals in two games and face Barrow tonight so that one could be good for goals. Add in that Port Vale v Liverpool match and you can have an Over 2.5 Goals Double at 129/100

yep same here, everytime i go unders or btnts it’s a goal fest and the bet is down within minutes! at least with overs and btts the bet lasts until the final whistle, and then loses!!
I used to be a fan of doing Under 3.5 at around odds of 2/5 and doing doubles or trebles to be a bit more on the safe side. It’s All about picking the right teams that keep themselves defensively solid as a priority.
As bixie said, I don’t particularly like it because your bet can be dead at half time and sometimes even sooner. With overs, your bet is still kicking at the 80th minute unless it’s still 0-0, and even then there’s still a tiny possibility of it winning. It’s more enjoyable and generally less frustrating to bet overs.
Spurs will be a good team for Unders under Conte,defend but don’t score.
I could count on 1 hand the amount of unders bets I’ve ever done , looking out for your bet and wanting no action to happen just doesn’t do it for me
Punters want action they want things to happen, goals, bookings, corners , thats why they are usually underpriced
For me it’s all about the thrill of the chase.
Punters want things to happen so back them and in my humble opinion it creates value for Unders…..betting is about making a few quid so I was just wondering what people think of backing some games that could possibly lack goals.
