Still unbeaten in the English Championship this season, Bournemouth host struggling Preston North End in a midweek fixture. The Cherries have been near perfect in recent weeks and should once again be too strong for the visitors.
Dominic Solanke was on target as Bournemouth claimed a 2-0 win at Reading last time out in the Championship. The striker struck just before the break while Jamal Lowe added the second in a comfortable victory for the Cherries.
Bournemouth remain the only unbeaten team in the Championship and continue to strengthen their hold on top spot and are five points clear of closest challengers Fulham.
Manager Scott Parker appears to have found the right balance as Bournemouth have impressed going forward while also maintaining their discipline at the back. They have the meanest defence in the Championship and head into Wednesday’s clash with clean sheets in their last four matches.
Preston North End were also victorious in their previous Championship fixture as they triumphed 2-0 over Luton Town. They raced to a two-goal lead thanks to a first half brace from Emil Riis and were able to hold on for the win.
It was only the second win in 10 Championship matches for Preston, who have found things difficult this season. However, it was good enough to ease some of their relegation fears as they are now nine points above the bottom three.
One of the problems for Preston North End is their form on their travels having failed to win any away fixture this season. They have lost their last two away matches and were beaten 2-0 by Blackpool in their previous fixture on the road.

Bournemouth’s defence has also been pivotal to their campaign with clean sheets in their last four matches. Gary Cahill and Lloyd Kelly often partner at centre-back and will be confident of maintaining that run at 11/8 with Skybet.
Anything else catch the eye?
Bournemouth have won to nil in their last four matches and that run can be tipped to continue at 15/8 with Skybet. They could also be backed as the only team to score at 6/4 with William Hill.
A -1 handicap for the Cherries could also be on the cards at 2/1 with Skybet while BTTS NO could also be considered at 10/11 with BetVictor.
