View our expert's Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Thursday which includes three teams to score 2+ goals and a Both Teams to Score selection.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Rennes to Score 2+
After a slow start to the season, Rennes are beginning to hit some form with them coming into this unbeaten in their last five matches.
Four of those resulted in victories, including handing PSG their first defeat of the season. As well as collecting 10 points in their last four Ligue 1 games, Rennes also remain unbeaten in Group G with four points from their first two outings.
Rennes drew 2-2 with Spurs before defeating Vitesse 1-2 in Arnhem. In fact, in Rennes’s last five games, they have scored a total of 14 goals, scoring 2+ in four of those games.
Mura have began their campaign with a 0-2 defeat at home to Vitesse before being hit for five against Spurs. Mura lie 5th in their domestic league and should be no match for an in form Rennes side.
Tottenham to Score 2+
After a disappointing 3-1 defeat against their North London rivals Arsenal, Nuno’s side are on some kind of mini revival, winning their last three games and scoring 10 times.
Tottenham sit above Rennes at the top of Group G, defeating Mura 5-1 last time out after drawing 2-2 in France. Spurs know a win here will open up a four point gap over their opponents.
Vitesse defeated Mura 0-2 before being defeated 1-2 at home to Rennes to leave them in third spot, a point behind both Rennes and Spurs.
Vitesse have already conceded five at Ajax and four and three at home to Twente and Willem II respectively and that doesn’t bode well as they come up against a Spurs side who have started scoring.
Basel to Score 2+
Basel have made an unbeaten start to Group H and sit level on points with Qarabag after a 0-0 draw in Azerbaijan and a 4-2 victory over Kairat on home turf.
Basel are also still unbeaten domestically and sit top, two points clear of Zürich. Basel have already scored 24 goals in the Swiss Super League, with 16 of those coming at home.
Basel had to play three qualifiers to reach the group stages, and won all three games scoring 10 goals. That’s now 30 goals Basel have scored at St Jakob-Park in just nine games.
Omonoia are yet to win any of their six competitive matches on their travels this season, losing five. In four of those matches, Omonia have conceded on multiple occasions.
PSV vs Monaco – Both Teams to Score
Both PSV and Monaco remain unbeaten and sit top of Group B ahead of their clash in Eindhoven on matchday three.
After a 2-2 draw at home to Real Sociedad, PSV grabbed their first victory with an emphatic 1-4 win over Strum Graz to put them top of the group on goal difference.
Monaco secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Strum Graz on matchday 1, before earning a 1-1 draw in Spain to keep them two points above their Spanish counterparts.
PSV have scored in 8/9 Eredivisie games, as well as both group games, scoring 28 times. Monaco have scored 14 goals in 10 Ligue 1 games this season, as well as scoring in both their opening two group games.
