Yesterday's selections ran okay, but weren't good enough to grab us a win. Glorious Lady ran well for a long way, and it was a good debut for her new yard. Achy Breaky Heart was poor at a few of his early fences, and did bump into one. The winner managed to win despite being hit with a 10lb rise in the weights, and when that happens, you have to say fair play. Not a total disaster, and we're still in a healthy profit from the last couple of weeks.

Today's racing looks poor, and nothing other than this selection caught my eye. Tom Scudamore goes up north to Sedgefield for two rides, and the more interesting runner of the two is FULL AUX ROIS.
This horse makes his stable debut for Neil Mullholland after changing hands for £5,000 from Emmet Mullins' yard in September. £5,000 isn't much in the world of horse racing, but this race doesn't scream quality horses, and I believe he could play a big role in this.
He has a good jumps pedigree, and is related to many winners over hurdles and fences, which includes three horses who have obtained black type, so you'd like to think there is plenty more to come from this still lightly raced 6yo. This is his handicap debut despite it being his seventh run over hurdles, and even though his RPR scores haven't been great when being trained in Ireland, he still ran with a decent amount of credit, being placed on two of the three runs.
Neil Mullholland has made a bright start to the new jumps season, already getting 25 winners from 168 runners, which equals a strike rate of 15%. This track isn't a ‘go to' track for Neil, but when he sends his runners here they often run very well, which is proven by his strike rate. In the last five years, Neil has got a 33% SR at Sedgefield which is 11 winners from 33 runners. Furthermore, Tom Scudamore's record at this track is another encouraging sign. He has only ridden 27 times at this track in the last five years, and that has resulted in 7 winners (26% SR). Tom is known as a southern based jockey, so the fact he's come up to Sedgefield shows the confidence in the two rides he has. This selection seems more unexposed than the other he rides on the card, and could run well on handicap debut.
Look out for the SCOTS GOLD at the end of the RAINBOW ,might help you FUTURE ,, and end up with some FRENCH COMPANY G-L

Nothing caught my eye that’s worth a proper write up however I will be having a few quid each way on
Hesperis – 2:30 – Nottingham – 10/1
Takes a step up in grade and trip but has been running well in previous 5 runs.. winning twice, placing twice and finished 5th at thirsk on last outing.
Running of bottom weight today under David Egan. If he can manage a place in this I’ll be delighted as there’s a few that are definitely open to further progress most notably the Gosden runner who on paper is the one to beat.
