Fiorentina vs Inter Milan (Friday, 19:45)
Inter Milan will be presented with the opportunity to move to the summit of Serie A when they face Fiorentina on Friday night.
Antonio Conte's charges currently occupy second-place in the standings but a win here would propel them above fierce rivals AC Milan, at least temporarily.
The Nerazzurri lost to Juventus in the Coppa Italia in midweek, however, the San Siro side will welcome back talisman Romelu Lukaku on Friday night as they look to rebound
Fiorentina, meanwhile, find themselves housed in mid-table and head into this clash on the back of a spirited 1-1 draw away at Torino.
Inter are unsurprisingly odds-on shot shots here a general 1/2, however, I'll head to Bet 365's Bet Builder market to put together a same game multiple.
The goal and card combination I like the look of in Florence is over one match goal, over zero first half cards and over two second half cards, a 4/5 shot with Bet 365.
18/20 Inter Milan Serie A assignments this season have featured two or more goals and 15/20 of Fiorentina's fixtures have produced at least two strikes.
What's more, Cesare Prandelli's side have failed to record a clean sheet in 15 of their 20 league outings to date, while Inter have kept just one shutout across their last five Serie A road trips.
With that in mind, I'm happy to proceed with over one match goal here but I also fancy some cards in Florence given that Federico La Penna will take charge of this tussle.
The Rome-born whistler is averaging a whopping 5.9 card per game this term and it's worth mentioning that he has flashed at least one card in the first-half in each of the eight games he has officiated this term.
When digging slightly deeper it can be seen that La Penna has shown two or more second-half cautions during each of those eight games, not to mention these two respective teams are averaging in the region of two cautions per 90 minutes.
It's also worth noting that the above-mentioned combination clicked during the recent Coppa Italia clash between these two sides at this venue and that adds to the appeal of supporting the same formula on Friday night.
