PSG helped us land an 11/10 winner last weekend and I fancy the French giants to stand firm again on Saturday night.
PSG vs Rennes (Saturday, 20:00)
Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to make it eight league wins on the spin when they play host to Rennes on Saturday night.
Thomas Tuchel's star-studded side stuttered at the start of the season but they have since found their rhythm and climbed back to the summit of the French top flight.
However, the Parisians go into this capital clash after crashing to a 2-1 Champions League defeat away at RB Leipzig in midweek.
Rennes, meanwhile, will also be looking for a rebound following a 3-0 defeat away at Chelsea on Wednesday night.
Juilien Stephan's side landed their first Ligue 1 in three last time out – a 2-1 win over Brest – however, a trip to the Parc des Princes undoubtedly represents an upgrade on that challenge.
The Parisians are odds-on shots as expected at a general 2/5 and therefore I'm going to make use of the Bet 365 Bet Builder feature with a view to getting the French heavyweights onside.
The 20/21 combination that I like the look of on Saturday night is PSG to win, under five match goals and Rennes to collect at least one card.
Free-scoring PSG have fired in 17 goals across their last four French top-flight tussles, however, the hosts may have to be patient when they come up against a Rennes outfit who have lost only one of their last 12 Ligue 1 matches.
With fixtures coming thick and fast, coupled with Tuchel's growing absentee list, I suspect a low-scoring affair could be in store on Saturday night.
What's more, Rennes conceded only 24 goals in 28 leagues last term, but cash-rich PSG should have enough in reserve to rack up an eighth Ligue 1 win on the spin.
Nine of PSG's 10 wins across all competitions this season have featured fewer than five match goals, not to mention the above-mentioned combination has clicked in nine of those successes.
