IT'S FA Cup weekend but Saturday's ties don't stand out when it comes to both teams scoring.
So I'm kicking off my line in the Championship with Ipswich v Blackpool. Blackpool beat their opponents 6-0 at home back in August but that was two managers ago and they're struggling down in 16th after just two wins in six.
Interestingly, their last six matches have been lost 2-1 or won 2-1 while the past four meetings at Portman Road have seen both teams on target.
Ipswich are in a relegation fight buthave decent at home, losing just one of their last eight and hammering Middlesbrough 4-0 last time out. Both can score here.
Next look at Nottingham Forest v Bolton. Billy Davies is back at the City Ground and bound to stir life into a fading side.
Forest have lost three on the bounce and face a Bolton side by all accounts playing better than their results suggest. Both have scored in Bolton's last three and it was 2-2 when the sides met at the Reebok.
Davies might not get the win he craves on his second debut but his side should at least hit the target.
I'm targeting a third Championship game in Birmingham v Watford. Birmingham's last six games have seen both score and they brought the market up with a 94th-minute equaliser at Charlton.
Watford almost always score, 11 in six, and have quality acts such as Matej Vydra and other admired by Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway.
In League One I'm choosing Sheffield Utd v Colchester. The Blades have arrested a slump by winning their last two games away to Bury and Shrewsbury but there are question marks about how they perform at home.
They have lost their last three and while I make them warm favourites to pick up the points there is every chance they'll concede to a side who netted three on the road last time out at Portsmouth.
Finally, go to League Two and back Southend v Northampton. It was 3-3 when they met earlier in the season and four of the last five have seen both score.
Northampton have netted seven in four games and three of their last four have seen both score.

Asian Handicap In-Play
1.775 (Current Score 0-1) FC Porto -0.5,-1.0
½ Win ½ Void
Returns: 48.57.
Is this right lol .
Stephen, looks right to me. 1.775 is about 8-11 so you should have £17.50 at 8-11 plus your stake back. If I’m wrong it’s because I failed my maths O Grade.
4 fold BTTS
Ipswich v Blackpool
Walsall v Notts County
MK Dons v Barnsley
Southend v Northampton
Ive also done a 6 fold adding
ST Mirren v Hibernian
Livingston v Cowdenbeath
i think the asain handicap starts from when you done the bet, so although it was 1-0 porto, your actually betting from that point with the scores at 0-0. and porto scored a second so you beat the 0.5 handicap but not the -1 handicap, hence half won half void. think thats right
oh you was asking about the returns lol. ive always been confused with the in-play asian handicap, only just worked it out!
thanks just a bit confusing so if Porto had scored a 3rd then 0.5 -1 would have returned 60.50 Asian handicaps are a pain but its an option .cheers
Stephen, as was said earlier your bet was inrunning with Porto 1-0 up so they needed a third for both parts to win.
sticking a few pence on oldham 1-0, luton 1-0, and arsenal 2-1 odds of 2149.5/1 haha
Someone said to me that one of the best ways to pick a BTTS acca is find teams that play each other and are in mid table as they are there due to scoring and conceding a fair bit, have you or anyone ever tried that before?
John I try btts when the teams are closely priced example tomoro 7/4 hartlepool v leyton orient 7/5 but not always successful
John, don’t think that’s a great tactic. I look firstly at form, have they been scoring. Also it’s crucial that you believe the away team will score because it’s harder for most teams on the road. So look at teams who score a lot away from home then sides at home who have been scoring and you have a starting point.
