CHELSEA need to get back to winning ways in the chase for a Champions League slot and should have little trouble seeing off a Norwich side already doomed to the drop.
I tipped West Ham to confirm the Canaries' relegation with a win on Saturday but was surprised at the ease of their victory with Michail Antonio's four-goal masterclass sealing a 4-0 victory.
That proves morale is rock-bottom at Carrow Road and the players will now just want this season to be over so they can regroup and plan for next term.
They might be able to play with more freedom at Stamford Bridge with the pressure now off them but it's hard to see anything other than a comfortable Chelsea victory here.
The Blues slumped to a shock 3-0 loss at Sheffield United on Saturday but still have their fate in their own hands as they chase a place in the top four.
Frank Lampard's men have a tough end to the season as they take on Liverpool, Manchester United and Wolves in their final three games. So anything other than a victory here is unthinkable for them ahead of those matches.
How the bookies view it
Norwich are rank outsiders and available at a best 22/1 with BetVictor for a win while even the draw is as big as 8/1 with the same firm.
Chelsea are a best 1/6 with Betfred but the odds increase to 4/5 with Sportingbet for a win to nil. Given the Canaries have scored just once in their last seven league games, that looks the wisest bet here.
Recent head to head
Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 16 games against Norwich and you have to go all the way back to 1994 to find the last victory for the Canaries in this fixture.
It ended 3-2 to Lampard's side at Carrow Road earlier this season (below) but Norwich can take heart from the fact they have drawn twice on their last three visits to Stamford Bridge.
Their last meeting in London was an FA Cup replay that ended 1-1 in 2018, with the Blues progressing on penalties.
Players to watch
I'd expect Lampard (below) to make a few changes after his side's dismal showing at Bramall Lane. Olivier Giroud came off the bench in Sheffield and may start here so the Frenchman appeals at 5/6 with BetVictor in the anytime scorer market.
All of the Chelsea strikers are odds-on in that market but winger Christian Pulisic is available at 6/5 with Paddy Power, which is a good option if the American starts.
Norwich boss Daniel Farke may go with youth here as he looks to the future. Young Irish striker Adam Idah came off the bench at the weekend and is 23/4 with 888Sport for a goal here.
Anything else catch the eye?
Norwich crashed 4-0 to Arsenal when they last visited London and also shipped four at the weekend so going for Chelsea goals here seems the logical choice.
The Blues are 6/5 with Betfair to start with a two-goal handicap and win while over 3.5 Chelsea goals pays 13/8 at Betfred. The odds are poorer on a goal in each half from Lampard's side, at a best 13/20 with William Hill.
I'm expecting Chelsea to come flying out the traps so they could get an early goal. Boylesports offer 10/11 on the Blues to be leading after half an hour while the odds increase to 5/2 with William Hill for them to be ahead after 15 minutes.
