LIVERPOOL were dreaming of sealing the title at Goodison Park but the champagne has been put on ice after Manchester City's win over Arsenal delayed the celebrations.
A victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby would have been the ideal way for the Reds to secure their first championship in three decades, even though no fans would have been there to see it.
That won't now come to pass but it's hard to see Jurgen Klopp's side not claiming another three points that would leave them just 90 minutes from glory.

Match Preview
Everton's record in the derby is dismal, going 21 games without a win, and even a second-string Liverpool side managed to dump them out of the FA Cup at Anfield back in January.
Klopp's side were wobbling a bit before lockdown, with three defeats in their last four games, but the long break will have recharged their batteries and they should have too much class for their city rivals.
The Toffees improved after Carlo Ancelotti's arrival as boss but went three games without a win before lockdown and signed off with a 4-0 defeat away to Chelsea.
How the bookies view it
Everton have been written off by the bookies and are as big as 5/1 with Bet365, which is perhaps understandable given they won't have a raucous home crowd behind them. The draw is 10/3 with Betfair while Liverpool's best price is 8/13 with Unibet.
Recent head to head
There hasn't been much to cheer for Evertonians in the derby of late, with their last victory coming a decade ago when goals from Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta sealed a 2-0 triumph at Goodison.
Liverpool have won both derbies this season, that 1-0 FA Cup win following a 5-2 thrashing at Anfield in the Premier League (below). But they have won just once in their last seven visits to Goodison with all the other games ending in draws.
Players to watch
Mo Salah and Andy Robertson are injury doubts for Liverpool, having sat out the 6-0 friendly demolition of Blackburn on Thursday. The Egyptian still leads the market for anytime scorer at a best 5/4 with SportNation but I'm going to back Roberto Firmino as he offers much better value at 5/2 with the same firm.
Fellow Brazilian Richarlison is always capable of some magic and looks the best option for an Everton goal at 29/10 with Unibet. Theo Walcott misses out for the Toffees who also have doubts over Yerry Mina and Fabian Delph.
Anything else catch the eye?
There should be a few crunching tackles in the derby, even though the red-hot atmosphere will be missing. William Hill price over one card for both teams at 11/10 and that looks good value, as does the 19/10 they offer on over one card in each half.
I cashed in with a Sheffield United corner bet when the Premier League returned on Wednesday night. William Hill also have some interesting bets in the same market here and I'm drawn to the 5/2 they offer on each team winning over one corner in each half.
