MY best antepost tip of the season was Cove Rangers to win League Two and anyone on should have been paid out this morning.
There were no late legal challenges after SPFL clubs voted to call the lower leagues now and make Dundee United, Raith and Cove champions.
Punters who backed Partick Thistle, Stranraer and Brechin to finish bottom should also be paid out but decisions will have to be made on markets such as relegation – there might not be any – top scorers and handicaps.
Some bookies have already settled on United, Raith and Cove whom I tipped at 5-1 as soon as they sealed a debut place in the league. Their price quickly crashed to end up odds on and I also picked their star striker Mitch Megginson for the League Two Golden Boot.
I've had plenty of emails asking what's happening and it will become clearer today but one punter said bet365 have voided his Raith bet and that's clearly wrong in my book. They'd already settled Dundee United, Cove, Celtic and Liverpool bets for those who backed before a ball was picked due to their promo on teams who go 10pts clear at any stage.
Well done to all the winners on Belarus football on Thursday and there are another two tonight – Belshina v Smolevichi and Shakhter v Slutz. I've got a page to fill in the Daily Record before working on the desk tonight so my advice is to follow Greg's tips here.
There have been some positive developments with UEFA pencilling in the Champions League Final in Istanbul on August 29 with the Europa League Final in Gdansk three days earlier.
And the PGA have said golf will resume in America with no fans on June 11 – so at least that gives us something to look forward to.

The other email exactly the same but with Cove in it. Now the key words i have taken from this our “contrary to our rules”. I am presuming somewhere in their rules it says if a league is not finished all bets in that league will be voided. This gives us who have bets with bet365 an indication of what will likely happen if and when the rest of the leagues fail to carry on.
I take my hat off to them for their goodwill gesture although i feel for the punters who backed Raith as indicated by Mr Fixit above.
It would be interesting to hear from other punters who have similar bets with different firms if they have had any emails.

Bet365 refusing to pay out on Raith. Actually they say by their rules all SPFL lower league anteposts are void but Dundee Utd and Cove settled as a “goodwill gesture”.

bet365 have voided the season basically.
My conclusion with 365 is that if you have a team who are way ahead in the standings like Dunddee United and Cove were they will pay out but if you have a team who were no way from certain of winning like Raith or Falkirk were they will just void it.
I can confirm that bet victor has paid out on Raith Rovers as winning Scottish league 1 title. Which I do find a bit surprising, alsp very surprised that any of my multiples containing liverpool are still open, I thought most big firms would have paid out on liverpool but perhaps on singles only and not multiples. Im not sure yet about bet fred.
You shouldn’t be surprised about the Raith payout – they’ve been declared champions.
Premier League hasn’t ruled on anything yet but whatever happens I reckon firms will pay out on Liverpool.

Rutherglen thanks also i have a bet with Bet Victor. Looks so far as if the bookmakers are being really fair and generous, gives us hope. In regards to your Liverpool bet i only know of 365 who payed out when 10 points clear as they did with Psg and Cove ( for bets placed before season started). 365 was the only firm i bet on Liverpool pre season at 9/4 so i am unsure if other firms payed out on them it would be nice to know if any did.
breaking news from the efl in the last 15 mins all championship league 1 and 2 games will be behind closed doors, but live on tv when it can be restarted. There is however no fixed date for that just yet.
I can only assume that bet fred have not settled any bets on SPFL yet, as there has been no bets settled at all in my account, on my phone I can only check over the last 30 days maximum and nothing showing up so far, in order to check further back eg to August I need to log in via laptop, but it seems obvious that if they were settling just now some activity should show up on my account over the last 7 days.
A lot haven’t settled yet including Coral Ladbrokes and McBookie.
Obviously there can be delays and some will be waiting to see if there are any challenges to this decision.

Looks very likely that English leagues will play out to a finish albeit behind closed doors, l have a lot of multiples including W.B.A ranging from 2/1 to 10/1 soif they can finish top I will be delighted, or at least top 3 as almost all are in e.w. accumulators or e.w. lucky 15,s but looks like a long wait to find out.

I can now assume that bet fred have paid out on SPFL results, a sum of money has arrived in my account from them either yesterday or today, these must have been settled on the dates bets were placed eg August or later. Rather than on date settled (yesterday or today) as on my phone I can only go back 30 days, and nothing appears re any ante post wagers.
There will be winners and losers on this settlement system, I bet Raith Rovers, but I do understand the frustration of those who backed Falkirk and have lost out
Suddenly realised bet fred might have avoided all Scottish bets, and its stake money that has been returned to me rather than winnings. As I cant get the actual details on my phone.
