KHAADEM (3.35) is least exposed of the 22 runners going to post for the Qatar Stewards’ Cup and is fancied to turn over some battle-hardened sprinters.
Charlie Hills scooped the pot with another three-year-old, Magical Memory, in 2015 and he pitches Khaadem in at the deep end on his handicap debut following a closing second in a Group 3 contest at Newbury a fortnight ago.
Hamdan Al Maktoum’s colt has won three of his six career starts and is potentially well drawn in stall three on the far side where there should be plenty of early pace. Justanotherbottle showed blistering speed to lead the field last year until collared on the line by Gifted Master and comes out of stall nine.
Raucous would create a slice of history for rising apprentice Cieren Fallon. The big-betting cavalry charge was won twice by dad ‘King Kieren’ aboard Gift Horse (2005) and the popular Hoof It (2011), and Raucous has plenty of course form to recommend him. He won over course and distance last May and his recent fourth in the Wokingham Stakes at Royal ascot, followed by a more recent victory at Yarmouth, suggests trainer Robert Cowell has his gelding in peak form. A 6lb penalty for that latest success is unwelcome.
Roger Varian saddles ante-post favourite Flavius Titus, a dual Newmarket winner this season, but he has little in hand of stablemate Spanish City on their latest meeting at HQ. First-time blinkers are applied to Spanish City and it would be no surprise to see him turn the tables.
Goodwood 2.25
KING’S ADVICE (2.25) is enjoying a remarkable season for leading trainer Mark Johnston, racking up seven wins from eight starts, and the son of Frankel will take a deal of beating in the 1m 6f Qatar Summer Cup.
The handicapper has slapped another 4lb on to his official rating for his latest victory at Newmarket but the five-year-old had more than two lengths in hand of re-opposing Desert Skyline (third) and Outbox (sixth).

ENBIHAAR (3.00) had a neck to spare over Dramatic Queen when they clashed in the Lancashire Oaks at Haydock and is 3lb worse off as they renew rivalry in the Lillie Langtry Stakes.
John Gosden’s filly powered home here over 1m 4f in May proving her ability to act on the undulating track, and today’s extra two furlongs should suit.
Last year’s winner Pilaster is back for another crack, while best of the three-year-olds is likely to be Ralph Beckett’s Oaks fourth Manuela De Vega.
Thirsk 4.35
David O’Meara fields three runners in the Stewards’ Cup but stable jockey Danny Tudhope heads to Thirsk for a full book of seven rides.
Soft ground is forecast and BURIRAM (4.35) scored at Carlisle on heavy in late May.
His recent third to useful Calculation at Haydock came over 1m 6f and Ralph Beckett’s gelding will appreciate this shorter trip.
Newmarket 2.05
At Newmarket, BELLA VITA (2.05) can lift the 1m 4f Listed contest for fillies and mares. She has been a revelation this season, winning all four starts for Eve Johnson Houghton, and a 4lb rise for last month’s Ascot success may not prevent her completing a nap hand.

Love Kings Advice almost as much as Enable n the now retired Blue Point,ve been on it since its first win and it’s failed ounce so ill be on today for sure which ain’t good for anyone the way last 3 days have went! Like Tabdeed mentioned by Kevinlll too and Bassem 2.25 but I’ll have a watch of the open show before I place a Yankee.

Whats your problem with busstop , he always said he is here only for jumping , why you talking critical about him at flat races , Footiemad you better show good tips , before you talking negative about other guys , you ever bet on jumping horses `? at flat season , its never easy to find value bets in races , because there are not many races with value , small fields 4 – 6 horses , only in better races , like LR last time at M Rasen , Casablanca Mix won for 9 – 1 , 8 – 1 odds , many tip it here , thats why I bet normaly not on jumping horses at flat seasons , you can talking negative about him when the jumping season starting , but I’m sure you lucky have guys like him in here , then to com a lot of races with many value odds !!

As for the Johnson mount all I said was hes gone for one ride could be a story there for guys to look at never included it in my tips .Didnt even name it.
If you look at yesterdays post i stated one a dh so hiding nothing there and a dh is still a winner.
As for flat horses everyone knows that follows the thread I only pick mainly on JUMPS but i did put 2 up as interest bets so fair comment .

I’ll be hoping lightening can strike twice with Will Buick and Charlie Appleby. They won nicely for us last night and have another debutant at Newmarket today. My stake will be smaller as it looks a much more open race.
Another top trainer/jockey combo team up today at Lingfield. Wren won on debut and the minimal form lines on offer look acceptable despite the price. They were evens at time of writing but have just gone slightly odds on.
Prince of Rome has won twice over this C&D, he is 1lb lower than his last win here and the 2nd went on to win his next two, one of which a Class 2. The biggest concern is the quality of the race, which is a slight step up in class.
This does look like a spare ride for Hollie Doyle, especially since the trainer’s main jockey is at the track, but she’s had 6 winners over the previous two days and hopefully Sir Canford can give her another. A C&D winner lto, he has been raised 5lbs. They opted to come here in stead of riding at Bath last night and I will chance it despite a few of these rivals all lurking on winnable marks.

I know i shouldn’t be bothered but i just don’t like to see people making out they are doing better than they are, you are giving the impression you are a winning punter and this will make some people who read this page follow you and lose their money, it is unfair.
My point about the dead heat is as you will well know, the odds are halved so that winning bet was very short odds so my point that you were well behind yesterday stands but anyone reading today would think you had a good day yesterday.
None of us are winners betting horses and you know this, it’s all just a hobby/ passion for us all let’s not make out we are doing better than we are.
Let’s just leave it at that and enjoy the days racing.

i dont have any experience with Marathon Bet, but whenever I am looking at Oddschecker, they always seem to have the best price, and I can only assume they are a little slow in keeping up to date, perhaps some value to be had.
You can try your luck there , sure the have nice odds , but the confine you normaly fast , winners not welcome there , Matchbook is one of the best in Horse racing , fast payouts and no bookmaker !!

jumping on red hot alan’s bangwagon although i have been an advocate of these horses for a season or two now.. but adding to my selections to try fix the losing start.
20:50 Hamilton – Set in Stone 11/4 0.75pts win
These silks have been on my radar for a couple of seasons and upon inspection, this lto C&D winner has his 3lb rise negated by regular jockey Rowan Scott. Joint fav Equidae was 4l behind in 5th and the 2nd horse has won since beating Equidae again, which is all pretty promising. Alfa McGuire was once rated 14lbs higher and could be a danger having won lto also beating Strong Steps. He hasn’t done anything besides this win recently and the ground should favour my selection.
18:50 Hamilton – Cale Land 0.75pt win 7/2, Cool Spirit 0.25pts top 2 2/1 (top 3 available everywhere 11/10)
CALE LANE has ideal conditions and her form reads quite well too. A head behind Inexes over C&D in June, he has won since. The winner, 2.75l in front was Air Raid, he had won off 82 before this race, won this race off 87 and has since landed a Class 2 affair off 95. The horse in 4th has also won since. We remain in Class 4 company having won a Class 3 race at the start of July beating horses that’ve contest Class 1 and 2 races. If this wasn’t convincing enough Paula Muir also takes off 5lbs for the first time. Cool Spirit will rate a danger but the form line through Global Spirit gives us the advantage.
