ONE goal short in Antigua last night – close but no cigar and apologies anyone on.
Looking ahead to tonight and in terms of snatching early South American prices this looks great.
Cerro Porteno v River Plate (11.30pm)
Cerro are my Paraguayan team of choice for value, top team and top form at home – River Plate have marked their return to the big time with a bang.
My initial thoughts were Cerro goals having scored 1-4-3-4 team goals in the last 4 H2Hs but I am happy to go with match goals? You bet I am at a massive evens!
Recommended Bet
- Over 2.5 match goals (Evens, bet365) – 4pts
Carmelita VS. Cartagines (7.30 pm):
Over the course of the last 6 years, these two stalwarts have faced one another on 19 occasions – in only 2 of those H2H’s have either side failed to score with btts/overs trapping in around 60% of those meetings.
This campaign has seen another goal-heavy start and I suspect we could be looking at another match featuring plenty of action:
Recommended bets:
- Btts & Overs (11/10 – bet365) 3 Points
- Btts Both Halves (12/1 – bet365) 1 Point
Oriente Petrolera VS Wilstermann
(9.30 pm):
Prices slightly on the drift for Jorge and, despite my focus on their form of late, they haven’t a great record against Oriente hence my swerving for the main bets.
That said, they ought to grab at least 1 and they are usually quick off the mark so I’ll be having a wee punt on their goal time:
- Wilstermann goal before 51:00
- (5/6 – bet365) 2 Points
nice one mate, it came in flying. happy new week….
Cheers – no joy with the others though so a loss day overall.
