THIS week we stay in Dubai for the Desert Classic which starts on the traditional Thursday and finishes on Sunday.

The course this week is a par 72 of over 7,300 yards. Putting again is the key to success but accurate iron play is essential and course knowledge is also an advantage.

The field is headed by DeChambeau, Oosthuizen, Garcia , Stenson and Fleetwood.

Our three selections are as follows

Tommy Fleetwood

The World No.14 played last week for the first time this year and will be better for that. He loves playing in this part of the world and will sure to feature on Sunday.

Alexander Bjork

The Swede already has a Tour win under his belt with last year's China Open in only his second year on Tour.

He played here last year on his debut in this tournament and carded 4 rounds under Par. Putting is his strength and at the price can give us a good run for our money.

Joost Luiten

The Dutchman finished an impressive 3rd last week and has shown a liking for this part of the world having won in this area before (Oman Open 2018). He hits a good driver and his long iron play is excellent so has a good chance to be involved on Sunday.

Staking Plan as normal; 1 pt EW and 1 pt Top 10 finish

Recommendations

  • Fleetwood e/w 14/1 William Hill
  • Top 10 15/8 Unibet
  • Bjork e/w 55/1 Betfair
  • Top 10 6/1 BetVictor
  • Luiten e/w 35/1 Bet365
  • Top 10 7/2 Skybet

Good Luck to all.
