WHAT a match we have in store at Tannadice in this top of the table clash as League leaders Ayr United travel to a rejuvenated Dundee United and a win for the hosts would take them joint top, something unthinkable just 6 weeks ago
Dundee United v Ayr United (7.45pm)
Clubs often get a lift when a new manager comes in, and that is certainly the case here when you look at the transformation since Robbie Neilson was appointed. A 5-1 hammering from Ross County then a 2-0 defeat at Ayr was the final straw as Shaba Laszlo was relieved of his duties.
In came Robbie Neilson and its been WDWWWWW – 16 points from 18 has propelled them to within touching distance of the top of the championship and it would be unthinkable for United with the budget they have to remain in the championship for another season.
They will be looking forward to this match and be full of confidence and I fancy them to get the three points in front of what should be a big home support.
Ayr have surprised everyone this season and I don't think anyone would have expected them to adapt to life in the championship as well as they have. Manager Ian McCall has done a terrific job on a shoestring budget and with goal machine Lawrence Shankland spearheading their attack, you always fancy them to score
They have drawn their last 2 games (0-0 1-1) and this will be their toughest test of the season – I just feel its going to be a bridge too far. Wouldn't have touched Dundee United 6 weeks ago but they are flying at the moment and the momentum is definitely with them, on top of that, they are at home.
Taking Dundee United to continue their terrific form under their new manager and go level on points with Ayr

Will also be on the usual Specials in France Ligue 2 (First half goals and over 1.5 match goals
Its been a really difficult league this season in Ligue 2, no stand out teams, fewer goals and erratic form. Of the 20 teams, the fact only one tem has won back to back games in the last two weeks tells its own story.
I've had a good look through tonight's games and have picked two bets for small stakes
Troyes are in decent shape and travel to second bottom Red star while are in terrible form a the moment. Troyes are finding their feet in this league now and should be good enough to collet three points
- Troyes to beat Red Star (11/8) (Skybet)
- Matches at Valenciennes and Le Harve over 1.5 goals (20/23) (William Hill)
Gregg I like your French 2 bets and cover every week with success in the over .5 first half I have had it up twice and missed it once if my recollection is correct , I have covered the over1.5 and never won on it yet , has it come in this season
