Middlesbrough v Rotherham
Skybet Championship. Kick Off 19.45, October 23rd at Riverside Stadium.
Middlesbrough went back to the top of the Championship on Friday evening with victory at Sheffield Wednesday by 2 goals to 1. They remained there after Saturdays games when surprisingly Sheffield United, West Brom and Leeds all lost.
On Tuesday the Boro take on Rotherham who sit in 20th position have not won in their last six games and have failed to pick up a single point in six away games. Middlesbrough on the other hand have kept five clean sheets at home and only conceded 2 goals in six games.
On the H@H front the Boro have won 4 out of the last five and in the two played at the Riverside the Millers have yet to score a goal. The other interesting stat is that in the 26 Championship games these two sides have competed in 19 of them have gone Under 2.5 goals.
I expect Rotherham will ‘park the bus' and try and frustrate the Boro and hopefully hold out for a 0-0 draw. It may take the home side a while to break down the defence and the recommended bets are as follows
