ONE of our regular visitors Matthew Downey has offered up some thoughts on tonight's Premier League darts.
Here are his thoughts on the action and you can take or leave it but let's know your feelings about his selections.
Matthew writes: I was tempted to go for either the draw here or Hamilton +1.5 but I'm playing it safe and giving him a three-leg head start.
I don't think Hamilton should be in the Premier League as in the last few years (apart from the recent world championships) he has been poor, however in the Lhe has shown time and time again just how difficult he is to beat by losing only one of his last six and that was against Phil Taylor.
The first game between the two ended in a 7-7 draw and I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar result tonight, 11-10 with Skybet.
Anderson v Van Barneveld
Ray van Barneveld started this tournament brilliantly and looked like his old self until recently when he has started to drain of confidence and last week he was lucky to take a point off Hamilton.
Gary Anderson played much better last week and that would have done his confidence the world of good and even though he's only playing for pride I'm sure he won't want to finish bottom of the league. Anderson draw no bet pays 11-10 at bet365.
Meanwhile, I'm on Adrian Lewis for most 180s on the night. Any darts fan will tell you when Adrian gets going he is devastating and if the first arrow goes into the treble 20 expect the other two to follow.
He is such a fluent and accurate thrower when he wants to be and his confidence will still be sky high after the Taylor win two weeks ago. Most 180s pays 10-3 at bet365.

Most frustrating thing is I actually had the draw written out to send to you in the Anderson game then changed my mind last minute! Would have been a nice 5/1 winner
keep the darts tips coming matt, never had bet last night but the next few wks going to be good wi all but taylor and anderson playing for semi final spot. can see a few shocks myself and i wrote off hamilton and painter at start of league but think the winner mxt wk got great chance to qualify.
Anderson is out mate, he had to win last night to mathematically have a chance and he drew.
i know mate, said apart from anderson and taylor all playing for semi final place. think winner of painter v hamilton got good chance of going through, whitlock more or less thro. i’ll be on taylor whitlock barney and hamilton to qualify
