IT'S been some week with good results, bad ones and some brilliant football.
Highlight for me was Liverpool v PSG and the Reds are extremely short to beat Southampton at home. Jurgen Klopp may make a couple of changes but one of them will be Roberto Firmino for Daniel Sturridge so it hardly weakens the team. Liverpool should win by at least two with over 2.5 match goals the minimum expectation.
Man United entertain Wolves after hammering Young Boys but won't find it easy against a side that's impressed since promotion. Man City will aim to take their Champions League frustrations out on Cardiff after their shock loss to Lyon and I expect a comfortable victory.

The Super Single was posted on Thursday because I feared the price on Edinburgh would drop from 21-10 and it has with 19-10 the best available. I also posted a capital cracker on Friday – Hearts, Hibs and Edinburgh.

No luck in Holland last night. Heracles did their job with Cambuur drawing 0-0 at Utrecht which was a surprise. What isn’t a surprise is my selection today and I’m likely not the only one on goals here. Notts County were being tipped for league 2 glory prior to the season, but its been far from that. 24 goals conceded in their opening 8 games is not a sign this side are ready for promotion. They’ve conceded 3+ in every away game this season but have still managed to net themselves which I hope they can do at a Northampton side without a clean sheet yet.

It’s been a good week for United, a hard fought win away at a good Watford side then they brushed aside Young boys in Champions league. Paul Pogba is finally showing a level of consistency and with him on form you have to fancy United at home at what I believe is a very generous price. Wolves have had a good start and will try and make life difficult for the hosts but this shouldn’t be passed up at this price
Hearts v Livingston (3pm)
Played 5 won 5 for the Jambos’s and they have an excellent opportunity to cement their have place at the top of the league. I’m personally delighted to see someone other than Celtic making a challenge and as long as they are at the top you have to respect that a challenge is what they will give Celtic. Tyncastle is a fortress, one defeat in their last 14 and with Steven Naismith in the form of his life you have to fancy them to make it 6 wins from 6. Livingston to be fair have had a terrific start to the season and they deserve huge credit – 3rd with 10 points is fantastic but I can’t see them troubling Hearts too much today
