LIVERPOOL got the job done at Crystal Palace but most people were taken by surprise with the game going unders.
There were chances at both ends but over 2.5 goals never looked likely to land and it beat my Top Treble.
I'm not sure if the performance will have Man City worried but even at this early stage the popular antepost pick of a City/Liverpool top two looks on. City are 4-7 with most bookies and Liverpool 3-1 with third favourites Chelsea 12-1. As far as bookies are concerned it's a two-horse race.
Plenty of winners on the night though including HullShaker, Jordan and Greg and some decent match previews posted.
Loads of games to look at on Tuesday so I'll be up early for my RFO to study form and stats. In England there are four Championship matches and a almost full cards in League One and League Two and the first of the Champions League play-offs.
I've picked out a double chance treble and a both to score double and may add other tips later. I'm backing Marcelo Bielsa's on-form Leeds not to lose at a Swansea side that have started fairly well too. Add Portsmouth not to lose at Bristol Rovers and Peterborough, my antepost pick in League One, not to lose at Charlton after a sparkling start to the season by Steve Evans' men.
Remember to check out WeLoveBetting for video previews and tips.

Where do I find the bets not to lose.I can’t seem to find it
Draw no bet usually
Draw no bet usually
Not draw no bet – it’s double chance (eg Leeds or draw) or +1 on the handicaps.
It’s also called Double Chance
Could only manage one penalty in my trixie last night. LOSER.
Thank you everyone
Liverpool managed to scrape a win with a dodgy pen and dodgy red card I think last night proved Man City are streets ahead may get 2nd if Salah gets back to his best.
Barnsley to bear Rochdale 11/8
MK Dons to beat Grimsby 8/11 both Sky Bet
Last night proved nothing of the sort. It proved that Liverpool can go too tough venues away days like Palace and keep a clean sheet while not being at their best. Penalties and red cards tend too even themselves out over a season, just so happens Liverpool had the rub of the green this time.
Liverpool will finish second imo and with a bit too spare. Arsenal are poor, Man Utd are crippled by interior strife on top of a poor defence so that leaves Chelsea and Spurs. I don’t believe either too be good enough too finish above Liverpool. Spurs stood still and swapped signings for stadium, Chelsea will need time for Sarri too get the players in required for his system too get anywhere near a title. All this while Liverpool have improved their squad no end but will fall short too City even without De Bruyne
Tend to agree with you on this one Mr H – Palace away is no easy gig for any team – tough ground to play at and a tough side to play against.
Didn’t watch the game but it only proved to me that Liverpool are capable of grinding out a win in difficult circumstances.
They dominated the game Hull, and i doubt Man City will go their and keep a clean sheet.I was quite surprised at the clean sheet as i thought Palace would have chipped in with goals.
If anything it backed up their title credentials rather than hurt them. A 2-0 win at Palace ain’t no 3-2 loss at Brighton ?
Have to bring United into it don’t you lol.
Just ? lol I knew you’d be around
Salah does not look the same player as last season
Palace hadn’t lost a game since March. They are a really tough team. Why is 2-0 a sign City will walk with the title. They were scrapping 1-0 all the time last season and no one thought poorly off them.

A Penalty taken at 21/10
Red Card in the game.
Red card =Player sent off at 11/4 (NAP)*****
Any reasoning on the red Macca?
When Greek teams travel in Europe they have a knack of picking up needless bookings and making reckless tackles no matter which team it is,be it Olympiakos,Aek Athens (which we seen at Celtic) PAOK and Panathinaikos-with PAOK travelling to Benfica this game has a red and lots of cards written all over it and i have no doubts Benfica could lend a helping hand in getting a players sent off, having said that Benfica have no problem in getting one of their own sent of either,i will be surprised if we see a clean game here. All opinions are welcome.
Best of luck all with bets on.
Totally agree Mac; Portuguese club football has high card %age (top league anyway), coupled with the Greek away mentality and a card happy ref from another country; will look at markets later; unfortunately Ladbrokes may not have them up yet
I have taken the bet with skybet.
I am on your red card macca and i have added a penalty in the Belgrade V Salzburg game for 14/1 double. Hills odds.
Morning gents,
Much better last night with both main bets landing in the 1st half – the 7/2 score draw never trapped but I can live with that!
I posted a game last week that I was sweet as hell on but alas, it disappeared into the ‘Nordic Triangle’ never to be seen again…or so I thought – it’s back on the menu again tonight at a rescheduled time of 2100…
THERE’S always the chance of goals when it comes to the Scandinavian youth leagues.
Icelandic youth action here and although it’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, it has been one of the most consistent leagues for goals over recent years and some of the scorelines are simply eyewatering.
LEIKNIR/KB U19 VS. GRINDAVÍK/GG U19 (8pm)
These two played their most recent H2H just 10 weeks ago with the small matter of 11 match goals in an 8-3 home victory for Grindavik – not too shabby as recent goals-form goes and, although it’s unlikely we’ll see an exact repeat, there’s every chance of a healthy final score!
Both sides have had a fairly active start to their respective Youth campaigns and these are reflected in the most recent match goal totals over the last 4 months:
H: 6-5-7-4-4-5-5-11-4-8-9-5-5-3-7-5-10
A: 6-3-6-4-0-2-2-1-11-9-4-12-3-3-8-6-5
Like I said, these are some of the most consistently high scoring games in Europe and the fact that only 3 of the hosts last 17 matches finished with less than 5 goals puts that into perspective.
The significant difference to other ‘high scoring’ leagues (and the reason I like it so much) is that it’s rarely a quality gulf resulting in vast thumpings of 10-0, etc as seen in the Finnish Kolkolmen and similar leagues – instead what you find in the Icelandic Youth is scorelines of 5-4, 7-3, etc where BOTH teams are working for you to help amass that goals tally.

@gregbrowning any early thoughts on St Johnstone this weekend mate? Surprised to see you priced at 2.25 just now. Thought it would have been lower. Dundee are not in a good place at the minute and I can’t see McCann lasting much longer.
@ausie11 I really fancy us mate – we are a far better side than last season, certainly going forward + we have Tony Watt ?

Just for the record. One of our VIP’s had 100k on Under 3 Goals at Palace last night. Another had 100k on Palace +1.25.
Decent looking card tonight with a few standouts. QPR are fresh off a 7-1 thumping against the Baggies on the weekend. While they’ll likely wish to show some pride, they will likely still struggle against Bristol City. City have had a tough start to their campaign playing three of the top 8 who are all unbeaten. They dominated their game on paper against Boro, but couldn’t hit the onion bag. My guess is that’ll change against a side who looked awful at the Hawthorns on the weekend.

Elsewhere, I think there’s real value on two of the fast starters in League One tonight. Both are on their travels, but visit sides that are capable of shipping a goal or two. Bristol Rovers, in particular, are without a home clean sheet this calendar year. The Valley is not an easy place for Peterborough to go, but I reckon they can squeak a goal too. The odds, I think, are fair.

I’m just after looking at the Liverpool game again . Looking at it last night I thought it was a blatent sending off but looking at it today no way was it salah lost control of the ball just before the defender caught him so imo it wasn’t a goal scoring chance therefore it shouldn’t have been a red card . But it don’t make any differences now
That’s what I was saying, barely touched him n he lost control of the ball anyway – in real time looks a foul so don’t blame the ref, but replay looks a lot different.
@razzler88 – wondering if your 2K acca landed that you posted?
– Pretty sure you were just waiting on the liverpool win right?
Im pretty sure he had Man utd to win Alex.
Scrub that,im thinking of someone else..soz
Looked back,i wasn’t mistaken,he had Man utd to win.
ah that sucks, genuinely thought it had landed. avoid betting on United like the plague for the foreseeable future. don’t have a single United player in my fantasy football team, that says it all

Morning gents
Busy card tonight and going to focus on the English league 1 and 2 matches
Sticking with goals on a tricky night
Charlton v Peterborough
Bristol Rovers v Portsmouth
Lincoln City v Bury
Nothing flash here, both Pompey and Peterborough have started the season like title contenders with 3 wins from 3 and most importantly both are scoring goals. Portsmouth blew away Oxford 4-1 on Saturday and it could have been more and with Jason Cummings with 3 goals in 3 games for Peterborough, you have to fancy both sides finding the net tonight. meanwhile Lincoln have started well and should mange to score against a poor Bury side. They have recruited well and will be tough to beat at home this season
Portsmouth / Peterborough / Lincoln to score 11/10 (NAP) (Marathonbet)
**************************************************************************************
Crawley Tow v Swindon Town
Its certainly been entertaining watching Swindon play this season with fans being treated to 15 goals in their opening three league games ( 3-2 1-4 3-2) – seven scored 8 conceded so its difficult seeing them keeping a clean sheet on the road. 16 of their last 19 league 2 away matches have gone over 2.5 goals and Crawley are no strangers to goals with 11 of their last 14 seeing over 2.5 goals.
Both sides getting on the score sheet here

Apologies if anyone is waiting on my preview but I will not be doing one tonight. Derby need to sort out their act before I can conclusively tip on anything. Ipswich do have a good record at Derby and I think they’ve only lost once in a number of visits. If they don’t draw us tonight, the stats do point to a 1 nil win to the visitors.
After Lampard and the owner said it could take 8-10 games for our squad to take shape with the possibility of scraping a few wins like we did against Reading, it makes me extremely nervous on our immediate football. This wretched 4-3-3 they’re insisting we can play is twaddle. It’s square pegs and round holes. We don’t have the right players to make this work and whilst we’re ” finding our feet “, I’d say we should be prioritising getting 3 pts on the board instead of trying to force a learning curve that could in reality see us up to 20pts off the top by the time we decide that we want to play some good football. Derby dominated the latter stages of that Millwall game, we had a 2nd legitimate goal in 2 games ruled out and stats were 72% possession to the Rams. The way we were playing in the last 20 minutes kept Millwall camped in their own 1/3rd. Shame we didn’t have enough quality to even squeak a draw. they kick off in 25 mins and I have urgent stuff to do. If I hear anything in-play, i’ll share. Good luck tonight guys.
Derby win and BTTS 9-2 SkyBet special boost.
I’ll have a stab at that.

Never a penalty that – handball given n he was half a yard away from the player couldn’t move arm. Very fortunate PSV – anyway brings in the BTTS for a few on her at least!
Referee is dreadful, blowing whistle for everything.
PSV done a totally professional job, simply comes down to having the more talented players (lozano, bergwijn etc)
they were never gonna beat PSV.

Tranmere game a washout, 0-0 was not expecting that at all. Kills the treble.
And can you believe the BATE game, they equalised on 88 minutes, (thought my D/C double home and hosed) but they were too busy still celebrating and PSV immediately score from the kick off to make it 3-2. One of those nights!
Well done all winners

Trinidad & Tobago proved a rich stomping ground a couple of nights back with a 7 goal cracker and I’m heading back to warmer climes with an oversized rum cocktail and a big f*ck-off cigar on the hunt for more goals…
W CONNECTION VS. CLUB SANDO (0100 KO):
Western are one of the top sides in T&T football and I’m surprised to see the prices which indicate more respect for Sando than I would have thought.
The last 3 H2H’s have seen Western score at least a brace –
these matches have all taken place within the last 15 months so are both recent and relevant!
Of the last 6 H2H’s both teams have netted in 5 and perhaps this is where the value lies outside of match goals – no stats to back it up but both sides scoring in the 2nd half is a tidy little number in this league.
I can see a few goals in this one and although it’s never a league to go mad on, it may pay to keep tuned in for any Night Owls out there.
Three selections worth a look:
