MRF2018 ReadingvBolton

Reading vs Bolton

Skybet Championship. Kick-Off: 3.00pm, Saturday, August 18th.

LOOKING for value on a busy weekend of football action Bolton literally jumped off the page at 14/5 for the away win. In my opinion Phil Parkinson's men should be a shade above evens to beat Reading. I can only assume that Bolton's previous eclectic away record has resulted in the price.

To my mind they won convincingly enough away to West Brom and put in a solid shift against Leeds , despite losing they started to turn the screw in the second half and could have scored another to equalize but ran out of runway.
Reading on the other hand have started the season abysmally losing 2 on the bounce and looking particularly disjointed and fractious against a mediocre Derby.

Having said that Reading are probably champing at the bit to get some scores on the doors and will be fired up come 3pm Saturday with an expectant home crowd behind them .

Going for a safe option I think 7/10 for a win or draw about Bolton is fair enough but not as attractive as the straight win odds .

It isn't a match to get too heavily involved with financially as both these sides were pre season favorites for relegation and at one point they were both premiership sides at least one of which could be facing the prospect of league one football next year.
