I ASKED who was next for a comeback when previewing the Europa League ties and the answer was Marseille, Salzburg and very nearly CSKA Moscow.
On an other fantastic night of football Marseille and Red Bull went goal crazy to KO Leipzig and Lazio respectively while CSKA were within a goal of beating Arsenal before they hit back with two late strikes.
Atletico Madrid are now 11-10 outright favourites at Betway and look the side to beat despite a 1-0 loss at Sporting. Antoine Griezmann missed two sitters near the end that beat plenty of bets including Scott's members bet.
Arsenal are second favourites at 23-10 with Paddy Power but on the evidence of the second legs Marseille (13-2, Sky Bet) and Salzburg (7-1, McBookie) won't fear anyone.
My both to score double won at 16-10 and I added the CSKA game to make it a 33-10 treble – luckily the one I left out was Sporting v Atletico.
Well done to all the winners especially Greg and Jordan who didn't have to hang about long to collect their dough.
After three nights of Euro drama it's back to the bread and butter of the leagues and there are some decent games on Friday including Aston Villa v Leeds, Girona v Real Betis, Wolfsburg v Augsburg and Angers v Nice.
There are also the usual lower-league French and Dutch games as well as Heracles v AZ.
I've been concentrating on Saturday games but have picked out a treble – taking over 2.5 goals at Heracles with AZ likely to be contributing most of them and adding the Almere v Jong PSV game picked out by Jordan. I also expect goals at Girona with the home side's last three totalling 16 and it was 2-2 when they met earlier in the season.

Eersteday is here so I’ll be quick with the stats. Wouldn’t usually take a BTTS this short but I’m confident enough to add it to a more reasonable priced market in a double. Almere host the PSV boys, and if both don’t score I’ll be shocked. Now 29 out of Almere’s 34 league games have seen both net with the same tally seeing over 2.5. The bet builders should look for both to score and over 3.5 which pays 20/21.
The other market is both to score with Eindhoven heading to Go Ahead Eagles, who have recently not been going ahead at all. They’ve lost their last 3-0 to nil, with two of the losses coming against youth teams. One of the losses was against the Utrecht youth who are easily the worst side this league has to offer. Very intrigued on the WDW price for Eindhoven as their goal price is rather short, but both should still score. The reverse tie saw a 3-2 win for Eindhoven, but despite scoring well over their last few games, they are still shipping more in their own net. They’ve scored 2+ in four of their last five but have conceded 2+ in all five with their last clean sheet coming in December.
