WEDNESDAY was all about Greg's rollercoaster ride and anyone on his Nap would have enjoyed the ride.
He tipped more than 18 goals in the six Dutch league games and with just three scored in the early kick-offs his chances looked bleak. But late on AZ hit three in two minutes and the evening games went goal crazy.
I was pleased for Greg who hasn't enjoyed the best of luck in recent weeks and well done to anyone else who was on.
Unfortunately on of those early games saw PSV win 1-0 despite dominating and in the end that cost me my fourfold with Ajax, Spurs -1 and Lyon double chance coming in.
Tonight the Spanish Cup semi-final second leg between Valencia and Barcelona takes centre stage. It was a tight 1-0 win for Barca at home and they are no bigger than 1-9 to progress.
Valencia have gone off the boil with five defeats in a row so it's tough to see them overturning this one and Barca showed what the cup means to them by resting Lionel Messi in Sunday's draw at Espanyol. He will be back tonight at the Mestalla and is 13-18 at Unibet to score and 3-1 at Sky Bet to bang in the opener.
Not sure where the value lies in this one. At some point Valencia will need to go for it but btts and over 2.5 goals individually pay around 1-2. The last three meeting at the Mestalla have saw both to score and overs so maybe that's why.
Elsewhere there is one French tie – Grenoble v Strasbourg – and some games in Holland including Feyenoord v Groningen. I'll take a closer look at the games in the morning and maybe put up a double or treble but it could be a no-bet day.

Club Brugge may be flying high at the top of the Belgian league but they are in horrible form ( 1 win in last 5) and are conceding goals at an alarming rate (13 in those 5 games). 7 of their last 8 matches have seen btts/over 2.5 and they only game that didn’t was when they drew a blank in a 2-0 away defeat. Being 4-1 down from the first leg means they have to go for it and I reckon this will lead us to goals. There’s been 32 in the last 8 meetings between these 2.

Lai Chi v Alfandega (13:15)
I tipped against Alfandega a few weeks back and on that occasion 3/4 advised bets sailed in. They are new to the league, but have lost their opening 3 games 4-0 5-0 and 9-0 against 3 of the worst 4 teams from last season. Lai Chi who they play today are the worst team from last season and are bottom of the league after 3 games this time around having been battered by double figures in one of their games. However, they have played 3 of the leagues top sides and so this is nothing new. The sides who thrashed Alfandega meanwhile, Lai Chi have either drawn with or narrowly lost to in recent seasons and that makes me think they are probably better than the visitors although admittedly neither are great.
The bookies priced up Alfandega wrongly for both their first two games, seemingly under rating how bad they would be. I have a feeling they have priced this one up the way they have purely because Lai Chi are bottom of the table and I think they’ve got it wrong again.

Another good night last returned a 3 point profit with my safe treble landing at 3-1 and 3 of my 4 Asian Corner lines landing.
