WE'VE barely recovered from one of the wildest weekend's in NFL history when another round of games are upon us, including another early Sunday kick-off at Wembley as the Saints and Dolphins collide in London.
The Wembley scoreboard has only just been reset after the Jaguars stunned the Ravens with a 44-7 demolition job nobody saw coming! The Jags have now won three on the spin in London with at least 30 points scored each game – it's now a case of can we play here every week for Jacksonville.
And it wasn't just the Ravens who lost their unbeaten record in shocking fashion – Denver and Pittsburgh were upset by Chicago and Buffalo on the road, Tampa Bay lost in Minnesota and Miami were stuffed by the lowly Jets.
Throw in late comebacks from Brady and Rodgers and a 61-yard winning field goal and you have a Hollywood Sunday of action.
In betting terms it means the Patriots are still Super Bowl favourites at 4.75 with Unibet with the only two remaining unbeaten sides, Atlanta (8.5, Unibet) and Kansas City (12.0, Unibet) next best. The final unbeaten side of the season has reached the Super Bowl 11 times in the last 20 years so you've got a 50-50 shot if you're backing whoever lasts out the longest of those two.
Saints @ Dolphins
We're back at Wembley as the NFL tests out how well back-to-back games in the UK go down with the locals – which will be just fine thank you if there are another 50 points on offer although they'd prefer it to be a bit more competitive. It's a business trip for both teams who've had disappointing starts to the season with just one win each.
New Orleans will feel a whole lot better about themselves after a fine divisional win in Carolina last week and although they're 1-2 those defeats in Minnesota and against the Patriots were no disgrace so they're rightly favoured (1.64, Unibet) against a Miami outfit that was almost shutout by the hapless Jets last week.
Saints QB Drew Brees will be the star of the show spreading the ball around and he's got receiver Willie Snead back from suspension to add to the ammunition. They've got three good running backs but rookie Alvin Kamara could be the pick with his ability to catch passes out of the backfield.
Miami have a tough travel schedule and Jay Cutler has struggled to get things going – they'll have to lean on English running back Jay Ajayi a lot on his home turf but if his knee injury won't allow him to play then it could be a long afternoon for the Dolphins.
Steelers @ Ravens
Having these two rivals squaring up with the AFC North lead on the line was to be expected, to have both of them coming into the game after embarrassing defeats to Jacksonville and Chicago was most certainly not in the script. Over the last few years these two like nothing more than to line up opposite each other for a good old gridiron scrap and they'll both have some extra aggression given last week's losses.
The Ravens have real problems after last week when even their much-heralded defence let them down. Joe Flacco had the worst game of his career with just 28 yards passing, Baltimore's offence ranks dead last in the league in total yards and they've lost an incredible 16th player to a season-ending injury this week in defensive end Brent Urban.
Pittsburgh (1.63, Unibet) have lost their last four games at M&T Bank Stadium, however, giving the Ravens (2.35, Unibet) some encouragement, and the games are usually tight – 12 of the last 18 contests have been won by three points or less. Anyone who saw Baltimore at Wembley last week though would be hard pressed to find a case for them winning this one.
Benglas @ Browns
There'll be one less winless team in Ohio after Sunday when these two go in search of a first victory of the season. It could be a coin toss but Cincy's performance in Green Bay was a huge step forward and could just get their offence creaking into gear. Given Andy Dalton's record of nine TDs and zero interceptions in his last four games v Cleveland you've got to be looking at the away win at 1.56.
Rams @ Cowboys
We'll get a much clearer picture of both these sides after they meet in Texas. Rams QB Jared Goff has the second best rating after three games in history, behind the great Kurt Warner when he led the then St Louis Rams to the Super Bowl.
Goff comes up against sacks leader DeMarcus Lawrence though, while Dallas' offensive talent is far greater than the 49ers one that piled up 421 yards on the Rams last Thursday. There should be points, and plenty of them, so the Cowboys to win and over 48.5 points scored at 2.80 is the shout.
Raiders @ Broncos
It will not be a comfortable night for either quarterback in Denver with two of the top pass rushers in the league in Vonn Miller and Khalil Mack lining up on opposite sides. Both sides sit on 2-1 after damaging defeats last week but Denver's home field advantage is one of the best around and can't be ignored.
Denver (1.66) have the NFL's best rush defence and along with the Vikings are one of two teams yet to allow a rushing touchdown this season.
