THE French Open will dominate the sports thread this week and on a dramatic first day women's top seed Angelique Kerber was beaten.
World No.1 Kerber faced a tough start against Ekaterina Makarova so while she becomes the first women's top seed to lose in the first round it wasn't the greatest of surprises.
On Monday it's the turn of the men and among those in action are bookies favourite Rafael Nadal and world No.2 Novak Djokovic. Both should win easily but of course both are a short price.
Finding first-round value isn't easy but I'm backing two recent conquerors of Andy Murray – Fabio Fognini and Borna Coric – plus Alex Zverev in a treble that pays 4-5 at Marathonbet.
Let's see all your tennis tips and anything else from the world of sport.
