FULHAM are possibly best bets in the Premier League on Wednesday as they host West Brom.

Martin Jol's men have sparkled in recent home games, hitting 11 in their last three, including five against Newcastle and two late ones to defeat Arsenal.

West Brom have been inconsistent performers this season but won their last away match at Stoke. However, they have lost their last three at Craven Cottage, conceding 11 goals, so home looks the call at 10-11 with William Hill and Ladbrokes.

Clint Dempsey has been in brilliant form recently, keeping out the likes of Bobby Zamora who has been sold to QPR. American Dempsey is 13-10 at bodog to score at any time.

Sunderland are another side worth a look and are unbeaten at the Stadium of Light under Martin O'Neill. They have won their last at home to nil against Swansea and Man City but face a Norwich outfit who have won their last three away matches 2-1.

You would certainly expect Paul Lambert's men to score but Sunderland look the pick of the bunch at 17-20 with William Hill and Ladbrokes. Both teams to score pays 5-6 at Ladbrokes.

Both teams should also find the net at the Reebok Stadium where Bolton host Arsenal.

Owen Coyle's men followed up their superb win against Liverpool by knocking Swansea out of the FA Cup at the weekend. They should give Arsenal a decent game but Arsene Wenger's men are worth backing on the road these days and are 7-10 with Stan James.

There should also be goals at Blackburn where Newcastle are the visitors. Rovers still haven't kept a clean sheet this season and their last seven have featured both scoring.

Newcastle, who have kept just one clean sheet in 12 away clashes, will still be without strikers Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse despite their return from the African Nations Cup.

But without the duo they managed to score two at Fulham and should breach the home defence. Both to score pays 4-6 at Stan James in what looks like a score draw. Blackburn are 4-9 with Coral -1 and should avoid defeat.

The final clash between Aston Villa and QPR could also be a draw with BetVictor going 13-5. Villa will be on a downer after throwing away a 2-0 lead to lose to Arsenal in the FA Cup and don't always perform well in front of a baying home crowds. In fact they#ve won just two of their last 11 at Villa Park under Alex McLeish.

QPR look on the up after a decent start under Mark Hughes and were unlucky to be bundled out of the FA Cup by Chelsea on Saturday. The Londoners will be boosted by the signings of Djbril Cisse and Bobby Zamora with the pair sure to give them more goals.

A QPR win at 4-1 with BetVictor and Blue Square wouldn't be the biggest surprise and I definitely don't fancy Villa at a best 17-20 with William Hill and Ladbrokes. Consider QPR on the double chance (not to lose) at 1-1 with William Hill.

There is one game in the Championship with Leicester entertaining Middlesbrough. The clubs are experiencing contrasting fortunes at the moment with Leicester picking up and winning their last three games without conceding, including a comprehensive 2-0 defeat of then leaders Southampton at St Mary's.

They are a biggest 11-10 with William Hill and Ladbrokes to see off a Boro side who suffered three consecutive league defeats before a decent FA Cup draw at Sunderland at the weekend.

The one game in Scotland sees Arbroath entertain Stirling and this should be a comprehensive home win.

Arbroath are unbeaten at home and beat Albion Rovers 6-1 in their last outing. Stirling have failed to win in three under Greig McDonald, the youngest boss in British football at just 29. You can have Arbroath at 4-7 with Coral.
