THE Welsh Open snooker trophy is up for grabs today and Judd Trump is favourite to win it ahead of Stuart Bingham.
The world No.4 eased past Scott Donaldson 6-3 while world No.2 Bingham was also in impressive form as he thumped Robert Milkins 6-0.

They may give Wasps a good game but I was impressed by Wasps ability to get a result at Exeter last wknd and they should have too much for Sale.
Newcastle are having a good second half to the season after a dodgy start. They beat Bath at home twice recently and fully expect them to win v Northampton, so happy to take the extra points to make up the double.

Not tips but just reasonable thinking into what I could be a night for Kevin Durant in the All-Star game.
Much has been spoken about of Durant’s move to Oakland. Before it happened, when it happened, and even now. He turned down big money contracts to go elsewhere, and got slated for wanting to win championships. LeBron did it, and there’s no rule for not wanting to win championships, so the 2014 MVP took a pay-cut and went to Golden State.
Steve Kerr is the West coach, and with all the flak KD has taken (from Westbrook included) I think Kerr will want to make his new(ish) star silence the haters. What will also be interesting is how much time Westbrook will get, and whether he’ll actually pass to Durant. Either way I’m going to take his points total. The West’s team total is at a staggering 179.5, so if Durant doesn’t get his 23.5 I’ll be miffed. I also think there is value on him as the MVP @ 9/1 @ William Hill, but that factors into who wins the game. Might be worth a tenner.
