IT was a decent day although it would have been better if Scotland hadn't gone goal crazy.
I landed two Super Singles to move back into profit – Hibs -2 and England thanks to Adam Lallana's goal right at the death.
After both to score at Gillingham and Ayr I was waiting on under 2.5 goals at Malta v Scotland but advised cover on over 2.5 before kick-off. Just as well because two early goals changed the mood and Scotland ran out 5-1 winners after Malta were wrongly reduced to 10 men.
My Top Treble was beaten by Poland throwing away a 2-0 lead to draw in Kazakhstan and that was unexpected.
There are another nine World Cup qualifiers to tackle tonight including Wales v Moldova and Serbia v Republic of Ireland and I've posted a separate preview.
Doing three Super Singles today which is unusual but let's hope at least two land. First up it's Iceland draw no bet away to Ukraine. As I've said in my preview this game will be played behind closed doors and on the evidence of the Euros Iceland can win – but I'm banking on them not to lose.
I can't resists 1pt on Gareth Bale to score first at x-x at home to Moldova although an anytime bet at 4-5 would be the safer option.
Finally I'm posting my first tennis bet of the US Open. After football and golf my favourite sport is tennis and having worked late the last two nights I've caught up with a bit of the action.
Andy Murray played poorly but found a way to beat Paolo Lorenzi in three sets and will need to be much better to beat a rejuventated Grigor Dimitrov in the early hours of the morning. I think Murray will win in four or five sets and was surprised to see his Bulgarian opponent as big as 10-11 to win a set.
My only treble is Italy to win in Israel added to two tomorrow – France at Belarus and Belgium in Cyprus.

Finland not the strongest of teams, Kosovo won their first game against Faroes 2-0 and they have some experienced players switching over to play.

Instead I’m already looking to Friday where Espanyol travel to Real Sociedad in La Liga. The Catalans have started their season scoring well and have added some decent players over the summer such as Pablo Piatti and Javi Fuego from Valencia, and Gerard Moreno has 3 goals in his first two games and scored a penalty here last season. Espanyol have scored here on three of their last four attempts and the new signings should give them enough to score again before a generous goal time. They scored four at Sevilla on the opening day which is never easy. BTTS highly likely which pays odds against @ 888Sport, and Gerard Moreno to score anytime is 18/5 with the same bookie.

Its been a great start to September for me and my followers as my tips have been great odds, a 6/5 treble on Saturday was followed by 3 winners out of 4 on Sunday, including Malta to score at 9/4 which wasn’t tipped on our community other than me. I don’t tip a NAP or NB everyday as my biggest advice I can give anyone is not every day is a betting day, and discipline is key, something my followers accept, respect and appreciate. So tonight I fancy Gareth Bale back at home to score at 4/5 Ladbrokes. It was an amazing summer for Wales in France and now they are seeded no 1 in the group they should have an easier passage to the World Cup. Moldova shouldn’t prove to much of a problem for Wales at home if they want to progress even without Ramsey. We beat Moldova 4-0 and 5-0 and while I don’t expect a rout I think Wales could score 2 or 3 so that bring me to another scorer at a great price, Robson – Kanu is 5/2 to net at Paddy Power. My Final Bet is Croatia, they were many people’s dark horses in the Euros, and I know being out there, their fans were expecting a lot from them. It could be the biggest farce in international football ever, players in the Kosova squad still waiting for international clearance and won’t get a decision till just a few hours before the game kicks off, Kosovo could make up a very good team if it was upto the players, not only do you have Sunderland’s Adnan Januzaj but also Watford’s Valon Behrami, Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka and Stoke’s Xherdan Shaqiri all wanting to swap countries to name just a few but alot of players wanting to play for Kosovo have been told they can’t.
So we don’t know what the team could be but we do know what the Kosovo coach has told us,
He can’t get his team to defend, he says he set up a special training session for just defending but in his words it just turned into attack attack attack with 23 players all wanting to be Ronaldo or Messi

Zaragoza bombed last nite mentioned the fact that there may be a red in the game which proved correct……. not saying predictions would of been correct but the 1st red wouldnt of helped ended 1-0 still managed to cover loss as fancied home team to win in the end with the amount of chances they had an got them late in at 3/1 still think they are worth keeping an eye on this season for goals……

As for Iceland, what can I say a team that never gives up and seem to find the back of the net against most. Ukraine are a bit stingy on the goal front. But I feel Iceland will want to do everything possible to be a part of the world cup.

I always focus my Internationals betting on games involving the minnows as the wealth of markets in existence these days allows for some value to be found. This is often in the form of markets like both to score ‘No’ or win to nil etc. However you really need to be getting on these days in advance – Very difficult to find value this late in the day

Although some confusion still remains on the eligibility of some of the Kosavo squad, it’s unlikely to dampen their spirits in their FIFA debut. They have some decent talent at their disposal likely to have 40% of the crowd cheering them on. Their actual form is Pl 7 W 3 D 2 L 2, their latest win was 2-0 over fellow minnows Faroe Islands.
Finland on the other hand have lost 6 of their last 7 and they have only scored in one of these. They are low on confidence and their inability to find the net could cost them tonight. I do think it will be low scoring and wouldn’t be surprised if it was 0-0 at half time (13/8 – bet365). I also fancy Kosavo to sneak it 1-0 (10/1 – bet365) and the 0-0 HT 1-0 FT pays 14/1.

They are a team I love to watch with there “Nothing to lose” approach, they set out to win each and every game and fear no one. That mindset got them far at the Euros while the Ukranians were utterly abysmal. The price on offer for Iceland to get a result is outrageous in my mind especially with no fans in attendance. Got 10% of my betting bank riding on it so no pressure ;)

Kosovo’s first-ever World Cup qualifying campaign has been given a lift by the news that five key players have been ruled eligible to face Finland on Monday evening by Fifa.
Milot Rashica, Herolind Shala, Amir Rrahmani, Alban Meha and Samir Ujkani, who have all previously been capped by Albania, were given clearance to switch nationality just under seven hours before Kosovo were scheduled to kick off in Turku.
One other player, Valon Berisha, awaits confirmation that he can transfer from Norway but Kosovan sources are optimistic he will also be given permission later on Monday afternoon.
The news sparked emotional scenes in Turku’s Hamburger Bors hotel, where players and officials had gathered for much of the day amid growing tension.
Ujkani, the team’s captain and goalkeeper, said he “went outside and cried … the relief came out of me” upon being given the green light. The squad’s focus now is on gathering themselves for a fixture they are confident of winning after a turbulent week of preparation in which the composition of the side has been unclear.
Kosovo were granted admission to Fifa in May, with players of Kosovan birth or heritage who had represented other countries invited to apply for a nationality switch to the governing body’s four-man players’ status committee.
The exact source of the administrative hold-ups has been unclear but there is little precedent for a European qualifier to be dogged by such uncertainty and questions will be asked of Fifa’s processes after a situation that descended into farce.
