JOHANNA KONTA is the sole British survivor at the WTA Wuhan Open after illness forced Heather Watson out of her first-round match with Madison Brengle.

British No.1 Konta breezed past Annika Beck 6-1 6-2 and today faces China's Shuai Zhang, the world No.38. Konta won the pair's most recent meeting at the Australian Open in January and is 1-3 at Skybet for a repeat, while Zhang is a 3-1 chance at Befair.

The day's other matches include title favourite and new world No.1 Angelique Kerber against Kristina Mladenovic and Jelena Jankovic versus Garbine Muguruza.

On the men's ATP tour there's action from Chengdu and Shenzhen and other sporting highlights include Australia taking on Ireland in a cricket ODI and a busy night of Major League Baseball.

Good luck with your bets and feel free to add your sporting tips and chat.

Morning all, it’s your main man Max here, and Week 3 in the NFL proved extremely profitable for me and anyone who followed. I left the SNF & MNF games alone. I always say discipline is key, not every game is a betting game. I said last week, in one of my post, I have nothing to hide, Week 1 was good and Week 2 ( 11/4 winner)was poor. I hit 70% of winners in week 1 and in week 3, I did this…….

    NFL Week 3

    Tips 8
    Winners 6
    Win percentage 75%

It was going so very well until Brees’s 90 yard TD reception to kill off the game and Atlanta’s need to carry on scoring. Ryan ended on 240 with the total passes going over the 80.5 as said so a 1.3 point loss to add to the bad weekend. Will update totals after work tonight. Well done any winners.

      TD interception*

@lee-cunliffe, that 13/2 will hurt with that pick six I imagine. Unlucky dude.

    Kolin @ Nymburk (17:30GMT)

There’s no question that Nymburk will triumph here but a 30+ point spread is definitely a no bet for me! Where i can see some value is in the total points…..Nymburk have home court advantage and we could and should see them reach 95 points. The guests have nothign to lose, they must try and match the high tempo that Nymburk will undoubtedly set, otherwise they could see this game slip-away very quickly.
This will be a high tempo game and we should hopefully see a scoreline in the region of 95-70.

    Total Points (Over 162.5) @ 10/11 Ladbrokes – 1.2pts staked.

    Good luck!

    Decin @ Brno (18:00GMT)

I dont see anything other than a Decin win here and it wouldn’t surprise me if it was by double digits.
Outwith Nymburk they are arguably the best team in the league. Decin started their campaign with a convincing win over Ostrava and they should have enough in defence here to see out this one convincingly.
The hosts started their campaign with a loss to Praha and they will have another tough game. Brno will try to stay with Decin in the early exchanges but I just don’t feel the have enough strength in depth to cope for the full 40 minutes.

    Point Spread (Decin -6.5) @ 17/20, Coral – 1.2pts staked.

    Good luck!

I’m also going to have a good at the first half totals as I don’t see this game being very high scoring. Both teams had a particularly low scoring 1st half in their previous games – 70 & 62

      1st Half Total (Under 76.5) @ 17/20, Marathonbet – 1.2pts staked.

      Good luck!
