IT was one tip and one winner on Friday and that's what I like to see.
Rennes not to lose and both to score at St Mirren was posted as a 3pt Super Single at 11-10 and moves closer to the profit line. Friday throws up so many betting opportunities it's a pity I have limited time to study the card.
I have so much to do for Saturday's Daily Record column and the site that Friday's matches tend to pass me by.
Maybe we need a Man – or Woman – Friday … someone who focuses solely on Friday matches and picks out the best matches for goals from the lower leagues.
That could be our next signing. Recently we've brought Greg Browning on board and he's a great addition – a well-liked tipster who consistently picks winners.
And or latest recruit is Desmond Two-2s – a new name on the site but someone who has been posting superb tips on social media.
Desmond will almost always fully focus on teams to score 2+ – singles and doubles – and he's starting off with Shrewsbury and Morecambe. His post will be up soon.
He had built up a good following but as he's completely new to this site he'll be looking to prove himself over the coming weeks and try to build up a trust in the way Greg has.
So if his two teams draw 0-0 today don't be too harsh on him. Desmond's a Scot but will down at Newcastle v Watford today and says he will of course back a late goal at St James's as advised always by Greg.
We had technical problems with the site last night so apologies for anyone who couldn't get on. It also meant I couldn't add any posts so there was no Saturday Super Single shortlist and the new both to score and result feature we were launching will be delayed until next weekend at the latest.
Looking at today's cards and as far as WDW choices go it looks incredibly tough. There are hardly an odds-on homes in England – none in the Championship and one each in League One and Two.
That immediately tells it's a day for caution and I found it particularly tough finding five homes I like and that explains the prices.

I’ve been following Gazovik Orenburg in the Russian 2nd tier for a few weeks now and landed a few correct scores along the way. They play today at 12 noon against FC Yenisey.

Chelsea have a decent record at home to Arsenal and are on desperate need of a league win. I can see them winning by 1.
Newcastle looked poor away to West Ham (my team) despite having more possession. Hopefully in front of their home crowd they will have a bit more cutting edge to use that possession to see off Watford.
Man city look unstoppable, west ham’s away record has been outstanding but I believe city have too much for us to handle. I havnt looked at the odds of btts, but with sakho, payet and hopefully moses all playing, I am confident of a west ham goal. Kouyate/obiang/noble in any combination in a midfield role would allow us to counter attack strongly like we have done all season. However, defensively I dont think we could get a clean sheet like we did at arsenal and liverpool.

Here’s my NAP for today.
14:30 Hamburger SV vs Eintracht Frankfurt – Prediction – 1.2 – Suggested Bets – BTTS @1/2, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @5/6
There’s every chance we should see goals here with both sides in good form and scoring goals early in the season.
Eintracht have scored 10 goals in 2 league wins including a fine 6.2 win over Koln last weekend in a fixture that marked the return to fitness of club legend Alexander Meier who responded in typical fashion with a fantastic hat-trick. His presence will be vital for this Frankfurt side as the 32 year old continues to score more and more goals as he gets older and he could well be worth a shot on the anytime goal-scorer market at 6/4. His relationship in a 3 pronged attack with with Luc Castaignos and Haris Seferovic makes Frankfurt a dangerous opponent for most in the division.
6 of Frankfurt’s last 7 in the Bundesliga have seen BTTS including each of their last 5 with 10 of their last 14 on the road also seeing BTTS while they have managed to score in 15 out of their last 20 away fixtures in the league going back a year. 5 of their previous 7 fixtures have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals and that’s the outcome I fancy here @5/6.
Hamburg have kept just 2 clean sheets in 12 home fixtures while Frankfurt have kept only 1 clean sheet in 20 away league fixtures so the odds on both scoring look likely. Sadly bookies agree, pricing BTTS at a short but still backable 1/2 odds on.
Having avoided relegation through the play-offs, Hamburg have started the new season well with 7 goals scored in their last 3 fixtures including a surprising 3.0 win at last season’s runners up Moenchengladbach. They have now won 3 of their last 4 at home with BTTS in 5 of their last 9 at home and 6 of their previous 9 including both home and away fixtures. Additionally, 5 of their last 9 home fixtures have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals.
Hamburg struggled badly for much of last season but they now seem to be much more dangerous in attack having now scored in 8 of their last 9 Bundesliga fixtures, scoring 16 in that period and I fancy them to score today especially considering that Frankfurt have kept only 1 clean sheet in 20 away league fixtures going back 1 year.
Historically this fixture has been good for goals with 7 of the last 9 meetings producing BTTS including each of the last 4 meetings while Frankfurt have had much the better of recent contests, remaining unbeaten in the last 6 and scoring 2 or more in 6 out of the last 7 contests.
This should be an entertaining and open fixture with both sides looking more impressive in attack than defence so I’m confidently tipping BTTS and over 2.5 goals @5/6 odds.

My final pick for goals is one that I have a good degree of confidence in with some really good stats backing up the selections of BTTS @4/5 and BTTS and over 2.5 goals @11/8.
Rotherham have seen 9 of their last 11 league fixtures finish with BTTS as well as 9 out of 11 in home league fixtures. Despite a struggle against relegation and a poor start to this campaign with no wins in 8, they have only failed to score twice in each of their last 13 at home. They have seen BTTS in 6 out 7 fixtures so far this season with BTTS and over 2.5 goals in 5 of those fixtures as well so goals are usually on the order in home fixtures here.
Cardiff have an even better BTTS record in away matches with each of their last 9 away fixtures all ending with BTTS. The record extends to 14 out of 16 away games seeing BTTS and that’s a pretty high hit rate of 87% going back to the start of the year. 7 of their last 9 league fixtures have also seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals and that has to have a good chance here at a big price of 11/8.
Despite losing their last league outing to Hull, Cardiff are in excellent form with 3 wins from their last 4 and only 1 defeat in 12 on the road. They’ve won 6 of their last 9 away from home in the league and they must have a good chance here against a pretty ordinary opponent.
Indeed Cardiff claimed a comfortable 3.1 win in their last visit to Rotherham in March and a similar outcome here would not be surprising. Given the stats, i cannot ignore the BTTS possibility and over 2.5 goals looks pretty likely as well.
I anticipate an away win for Cardiff but I’ll take the 4/5 on BTTS as my best selection here.

Home favourites Wolfsburg are expected to pick up another 3 points at home to Hertha of Berlin with the Wolves odds on @1/2 to claim the victory.
Wolfsburg possess an excellent record on home soil, winning 15 of their last 18 home Bundesliga fixtures and remain unbeaten during that period. Goals aren’t usually a problem either with 10 of their last 11 at home producing at least 2 goals for Wolfsburg and that’s the outcome I fancy here @4/7 odds.
While the loss of Kevin de Bruyne to Man City was a major blow for Wolfsburg, new singings Julian Draxler and Max Kruse have enough ability to fill the void left by the departing Belgian. Bas Dost continutes to score goals with 2 in 4 league fixtures so far and they look set to challenge for a top 4 position again at least.
Historically Wolfsburg have won 5 of the last 6 meetings between these two sides including the 3 most recent fixtures, scoring 2 or more in each of the last 4 so I’m confident they can repeat that today against a Hetha side that have conceded 2 or more in 8 of their last 15 away games and in 3 of their last 4.
There is a decent chance of BTTS @5/6 with Wolfsburg seeing that outcome in 5 of their last 6 at home while they have kept just 3 clean sheets in their last 12 at home in the league. However, they have kept clean sheets in their 3 most recent fixtures with new signing Dante adding an extra solidity to their defence and that would be the one worry in backing BTTS.
Hertha are definitely capable of scoring though, having done so in 11 of their last 15 on the road in the Bundesliga while 4 of their previous 5 in the league have also seen BTTS. New signing Salomon Kalou has 2 goals in 3 fixtures so farand looks like a good addition for a team that have in the past struggled for goals.
Berlin’s biggest team have lost only 1 in 4 so far, that a 3.1 loss at Dortmund but their away record isn’t great, losing 4 of their last 5, with only 4 wins coming from 25 going back over a year.
Recent meetings between these two sides at Wolfsburg have produced BTTS in 5 out of 6 while 4 of the 6 most recent contests have also finished with BTTS. Last season’s fixture saw Wolfsburg claim a narrow 2.1 victory with Hertha winning 1.0 in Berlin.
Wolfsburg claimed a midweek win over CSKA in their first Champions League fixture of the season and there is always the possibility of a European hangover as is so often the case on a Saturday following midweek Champions League fixtures but I expect the home side to have too much quality here and they can score 2 or more @4/7 while BTTS definitely has a chance considering the history and Hertha’s decent early season form.

Started keeping track of teams from the English Premiership to the Conference and Scottish Premier league to league 2 for both to score bets.
To qualify both teams must be averaging +60% in both to score and over 2.5 goals from their games. If no teams qualify then it’s no bets. These aren’t so much tips or bets, more of an experiment. People can use the games or not and I’ll track the strike rate.

I’ve made it my NAP because of the way Udinese played last week against Lazio. I rely on stats alot for my bets but I also try to watch as many games as I can as I feel this can allow you to gain a bit of an edge. Things like passing movements, communication between players and general composure on the ball are not always picked up on by bookies.
Empoli are a team I like because regardless of if they win lose or draw they never give up and more often than not score a goal as was the case last season. Udinese kept the keeper busy and hit the woodwork several times against a good Lazio team. They look like they have a good team spirit right now also.

I agree that getting to see a game is a huge advantage. Stats are vital but seeing how a team are performing is very helpful.
I remember last season watching a team, can’t remember who it was, and I remember thinking how awful they were that i’d back against them in the next weeks and then they lost something like 6 in 7.
I appreciate the Udinese comments because they are an out of form team (on paper) and I cannot admit to having seen them lately so thanks for that.
Here’s what I wrote on the game for my blog.

Udinese welcome Empoli to Udine in the first of two Serie A fixtures this evening and goals could be on the cards with decent prices available on my two selections here.
The home side have lost 6 of their last 7 Serie A fixtures, including their last 2 and have also lost 5 of their last 6 home fixtures but they did manage a shock win at Juventus on the opening day of the season.
Empoli have failed to win any of their last 7 league fixtures but they haven’t performed as badly as that record suggests. All 7 of those fixtures saw BTTS with today’s visitors earning a 2.2 draw at home to Napoli in their most recent fixture. The BTTS form is really solid for Empoli with 10 of their last 11 Serie A fixtures all producing BTTS while 9 of those also saw over 2.5 goals.
They have scored in 11 of their last 15 away games, scoring 15 in that period and they are definitely capable of getting 1 here with Udinese keeping just 1 clean sheet in 15 home games going back as far as November 2014. Remarkably, that one clean sheet was against Juventus in a 0.0 draw in February. They have just 4 clean sheets in their previous 21 Serie A fixtures, 2 of them coming against champions Juventus which seems a rather strange anomaly.
6 of Udinese’s last 8 home fixtures have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals but not in the most recent 2. That outcome is possible @8/5 odds with Empoli such consistent scorers on the road. The visitors have seen 9 of their last 11 games result in BTTS and over 2.5 goals including 4 of their last 5 and I like their chances of scoring here against an Udinese side that hardly ever do clean sheets.
Goals seem likely then with Empoli keeping just 3 clean sheets in 20 away league fixtures and when you marry that with Udinese’s record of 2 clean sheets in 18 home games, BTTS @10/11 looks like a good bet to me.
2 of the last 4 meetings have seen BTTS with Udinese winning last season’s corresponding fixture comfortably enough with a 2.0 success but given current form, I don’t think it will be so easy today for the home side.
I like the chances of BTTS @10/11 while the 8/5 on BTTS and over 2.5 goals looks overpriced both because of Udinese’s leaky record at home and Empoli’s BTTS and over 2.5 goals record going back to April.

It’s just down as one of my banana skin matches where I would not be so shocked to see City not win and if that is possible then of course, they could lose.
I’ve been really impressed with West Ham in what I’ve seen of them and they have a player with ability in Payet.

Yes, 9 bets but 40% of my total staked on 1, and another 20% roughly on the 2nd.
Only spent 1.7 on the small stakes accas which is even more than I like to do on a normal day but Saturday’s are my favourite day and I like to try my hand.
I did do singles for about 2 months on my page and I kept losing money on them so my main bets are always doubles between 1/1 and 2/1 combined odds usually.
Bit disappointed that I previewed and tipped up 1.0 Chelsea, Chelsea to win @8/5 and under 2.5 goals @1/1. Oh and BTTS in the early game at Forest but I just HATE betting on early games when they bust your bets for the day.

Super Single is a game between two out of form sides Hartlepool & Cambridge. The hosts haven’t won in their last six while the visitors have just 1 win in that time. I’m taking O2.5g. Cambridge have conceded 12 while Hartlepool have conceded 9, however Cambridge have scored 6 on the road in 3 games and Hartlepool 5 in 3 at home. Mr H, I hope you were not referring to me. I’m happy to take any stick for losing bets and I’ve even apologised for losers in recent days. However, if someone is going to lie about me or my bets, I will react.
However, I am no longer going to react. It is pointless and only annoys those who aren’t interested in reading that kind of stuff which is completely understandable.
So I will happily talk about bets, winners or losers, football and indeed any other walk of life but I will do my absolute best not to get engaged with people who are only interested in telling lies and being generally a ****.
I am genuinely sorry for filling the thread up by arguing with the person who began our conversation by laughing at my supposed loser and who was so nice as to tell Harpreet to change his photo because he was “so ugly” – horribly offensive and it really added to my anger with this person.
I will be back to post some smaller previews and best bets for tomorrow’s football and I do apologise again for annoying those who only want to read about football bets.

I do feel quite sad that people are accusing me of bragging about winners and “ruining” a good community. I do not feel I have done either.
I simply wanted to share my work with people and to talk about bets. I have offered my previews and bets which have done reasonably but not spectacularly well in the last 2 weeks. I do an ironic boom on winning 13 out of 14 last saturday. That was in honour of Harpreet. Beyond that, I do not brag. I have apologised for losers and celebrated winners. This is an emotional game and I’m sorry if my style comes across as arrogant. I am not.
The previews and tips are shared for free (unlike others on twitter etc) and it bothers me that I am being characterised as a braggart when I am just someone who will defend myself when attacked.

kianara44 only thing I can see is based on away form Pumas are 9th in the form table other than that I can’t spot anything, unbeaten in 5, cruz azul are winless in 5, over 2.5 goals scored in last 7 of 8 puma games, currently sitting top of the league played 8 & sit on 18 points, crux azul bottom on 7. Pumas took 15 points from there last 6 compared to crux azuls 4 points from 6 with a GD of -5. Head to head is in cruz azuls favour however with 11 wins & 6 draws to Pumas 5 wins, most likely the reason for the odds.
