I WASN'T confident on Tuesday but it turned out to be a good night with two winners out of three.
Norwich U-23s landed an 11-5 Super Single in fine style with a 5-0 win at Barnet while my both to score treble landed easily.
The loser was a Top Treble with surprising defeats for Dag & Red and Tranmere – but that's midweek National League games for you.
Greg Browning's Scottish U-20s double won but it was three out of four in his overs fourfold in England.
There's not much to look at tonight but I'm going with a Super Single. Iceland U-21s take on Scotland and it's been a woeful campaign for the visitors with just eight points taken from eight games.
That's led to Ricky Sbragia stepping down and Scot Gemmill takes over but his focus will be on the next campaign.
Scotland's only wins have been against Northern Ireland while they held Iceland 0-0 at home. Iceland have 15 points and have a massive incentive of going top of the group with one to game to play. It's a three-way fight for top spot and the play-off place so Iceland will be desperate to pick up the points.
They're a bit short at 1-2 so I'm on Iceland to score 2+ goals against opponents who have conceded seven goals in their three away games in Group 3.
I thought about doubling it with Bayern Munich women to score 3+ in their Champions League tie at Hibs. It's full-timers against part-timers so there should be a gulf but Bayern's stats are sketchy.
Last season was their first CL campaign for six years and they went on away goals to Twente at the first hurdle after a 3-3 aggregate draw. In 2009 they lost 1-0 on aggregate to Montpellier after extra time but in four matches previous to that netted 36 goals.
From what I've read Bayern should win well but I don't know enough about women's football to back it with hard cash.

Bullseye, what do you think about Dolan’s chances against Chisnall? At 10/3 is he worth a bet?
Dolan has shown improvement within the last 6 months John Smith but if a decent Chisnall turns up tonight where his grouping is on point he should win. What I do like though is Dolan’s 180 line. It is set for over 2.5 at 5/4 which is very appealing considering he hit three in the shorter first round format. I’m liking the stats for the Leatherhead game tonight, should see a few goals
Frustrating yesterday, I tried to avoid the EFL trophy as many of the teams are the youth teams of bigger clubs and sides in the lower leagues tend to make changes which makes for very unpredictable results but this seemed to be where most of the value was in the end. I took games elsewhere and Antwerp won a convincing 4-0 without conceding and Torquay managed a 1-0 victory keeping the previously prolific Dangenham at bay, today was almost a non bet day due to the very slender card, i have however found a double I like the look of however but I’m going to half the stake until tomorrow when there’s more choice.

Evening dc – I’d be careful with Athletico PR..not to clever recently and although they’ve scored 2+ in couple of recent games, H2Hs are littrted with 0-0s and 1-0s. Only 1 of the last 7 has seen 3 goals and thst was 3-0 to Chaps.
Vitoria looks better shout of the 2 but still not one I’d be going for…doesn’t mean to say they won’t come in though pal…good luck!

I ‘followed’ Trujillanos a fair bit last season and towards the end of the campaign, they always conceded a goal.
They followed on the trend this season and of the 15 games they have played, in only 1 game have they kept a clean sheet..and that was a 0-0.
Granted, they are up against pretty poor opposition tonight – to be exact, the only team worse than them so far in the Primera…Petara.
The away side have been poor… BUT…of their last 6 games, they have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 2 and have scored in 4 of those games against some ‘better’ opposition. In fact, apart from the most recent Urena defeat, their only other loss in 6 was agai st high flying Athletico Venezuela.

The smoke (and often mirrors) seems to have cleared from the Challenge Thread and it appears to be a little more clear and cohesive so I’m going to put together a ‘slow and steady’ betting series up – not so much a challenge but an accumalative series of bets and see where it take me.
