Re Wigan v reading, just heard on SSN that Wigan have numerous players out today, copied this from the bbc – Wigan are in the midst of an injury crisis with Ben Watson, Gary Caldwell, James McArthur, Albert Crusat and Antolin Alcaraz all out. Don’t know many Wigan players and the ones that are out are ones that we know best. A draw may be the shout but 3/1 the away is tempting with reading unbeaten in 4
Darren, Caldwell is obviously a miss for them but Watson only played because of McArthur’s injury. Still looks a draw to me.

Danny, had a couple of pints after the game so just back. Bankies put on possibly their best display of the season to win 3-0. Apologies to the guy I put off backing them but that was a helluva result. Not a great day for all round for punters so going to have to do some work tonight to find some decent bets for tomorrow.

I remember clydebank, what happened to them, i thought they were in the second division or something like that
John, long story. Briefly when Airdrieonians went bust Clydebank were bought, name was changed to Airdrie United (the First Division club) and that was the end of Clydebank who by then had seen previous owners sell their ground. Supporters bought the badge, organised a groundshare and successfully applied to join the junior set-up. Started at bottom about eight years ago and now in top flight (West Superleague Premier). Standard isn’t bad, probably equivalent to Scottish Third Division.
Always had a fascination with scottish football, ever since i used to tease my friends by pretending to be rangers players when scoring goals lol….it’s good to see supporters doing things like for their clubs

Mike, reading the Racing and Football Outlook earlier and they write “Rennes are a banker bet to beat Evian”. I keep telling people there is no such thing.
I know there’s no certainties! But jeeez it’s annoying! Had villa game to draw, Rennes to win, Real Madrid to win! So Rennes have cocked me up!

Mister Mr, they were about 5-2 but it wasn’t an away many fancied. It was Rob Roy’s first defeat in 11 games so a bit of a surprise. Having said that Clydebank played really well and deserved nothing less than the 3-0 win.
I took Real Madrid in-play at half time, thinking this is good value and Madrid should come back easily! What a disappointment, specially after Rennes let me down earlier as well.
