THERE’S some short-priced favourites on the coupon that should come in but as usual I’m leaving them out and trying to find some value.

Those sides include the likes of Man Utd at home to Mark Hughes-less QPR, Dunfermline against Dumbarton, who have a new boss, and Celtic against Inverness.

As new sponsors of this column I’ll be quoting Betway‘s odds for each of my lines (where they have odds available). You can claim a £50 free bet when you open an account at Betway via this site. Betway will also be ENHANCING the odds on my TOP TREBLE every week so make sure you get the best odds by opening an account with them.

Each week you can also win a £10 free bet at Betway by posting your Top Treble in the comments section below. Quote the treble odds from Betway and each week I’ll pick a winning treble to win the free bet. Win-draw-win bets only.

So here’s what I’m on today with Championship leaders Crystal Palace my Super Single as they go to old boss Neil Warnock’s Leeds. When I first picked them out the price had dropped so get on while you can.

Here all today’s tips from my Daily Record column and some more. I’ve added a draws line after much twisting of arms but remember do it for small stakes and perm a minimum three from four. Good luck everyone.

Re Wigan v reading, just heard on SSN that Wigan have numerous players out today, copied this from the bbc – Wigan are in the midst of an injury crisis with Ben Watson, Gary Caldwell, James McArthur, Albert Crusat and Antolin Alcaraz all out. Don’t know many Wigan players and the ones that are out are ones that we know best. A draw may be the shout but 3/1 the away is tempting with reading unbeaten in 4

Darren, Caldwell is obviously a miss for them but Watson only played because of McArthur’s injury. Still looks a draw to me.

Danny, that’s me heading to Kirkie to watch Rob Roy v the Bankies. Game on despite it being pretty frosty but can’t see my team getting a result against a side unbeaten in 10. Will check in later. Good luck to everyone with all the bets.

        • Danny 5 years ago

aye Paul a was readin up on the junior fitbaw hense my pretty reasonable looking treble a stuck up in the post was thinking about Clydebank but rob roy look pretty solid go for a draw Ross McPherson anytime 10 goals with 14 appearences 2 as a sub seems a good player

Danny, had a couple of pints after the game so just back. Bankies put on possibly their best display of the season to win 3-0. Apologies to the guy I put off backing them but that was a helluva result. Not a great day for all round for punters so going to have to do some work tonight to find some decent bets for tomorrow.

            • Danny 5 years ago

watchin bankies put on a show and having a few jars after has got to better than tuning intae flash score with one eye shut watchin terrible result after terrible result come in had a glance at sunday games few gdyins stand out…not a bad shout anaw with McPherson goal anytime

I remember clydebank, what happened to them, i thought they were in the second division or something like that

                Mr Fixit 5 years ago

John, long story. Briefly when Airdrieonians went bust Clydebank were bought, name was changed to Airdrie United (the First Division club) and that was the end of Clydebank who by then had seen previous owners sell their ground. Supporters bought the badge, organised a groundshare and successfully applied to join the junior set-up. Started at bottom about eight years ago and now in top flight (West Superleague Premier). Standard isn’t bad, probably equivalent to Scottish Third Division.

                • John 5 years ago

Always had a fascination with scottish football, ever since i used to tease my friends by pretending to be rangers players when scoring goals lol….it’s good to see supporters doing things like for their clubs

                  Mr Fixit 5 years ago

John, it’s the same club as it was but in a different league. Like Rangers in a way – both shafted by owners.

  21. Danny 5 years ago

dont know why a bet teams like annan with a stadium capacity that would fit in my back garden and players wages less than the monthly rent cant realy expect world class performances but a bit of fight wouldnt go a miss only hope is yeovil n hull getting back init

  22. Knottsy 5 years ago

Man utd odds at ht only 3/10. So took them to win by 1 @ 9/5 and by 2 @ 11/4. Only other bet i done today was single on stoke – just hope they can get a second to kill it off.

  23. Luke 5 years ago

bristol city could see the ball clear enough. why is it every weekend at least one really fancied team messes majority bets up. bookies laughing all way to bank yet again

  24. Mr Chris Guy 5 years ago

Absolutely shocking display from Celtic. Neil Lennon should give all the young boys a run out

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 5 years ago

Chris, Celtic can’t be backed after Champions League games. I put ICT up on the handicaps on the Record and just wished I’d have the courage to have taken them as a single.

  28. Knottsy 5 years ago

Made nice profit today with stoke single and man utd winning by 2. Couple of singles in evening kick offs for a bit of interest. Wee single on derby @ 5/4 and 4 or more goals in villa v arsenal @ 13/8.

  29. Paul Downey 5 years ago

Gud luck knottsy, I have a score on derby 11/10

  30. Mike 5 years ago

Anyone got a first goalscorer bet on madrids game tonight?

  31. Luke 5 years ago

could someone please tell me what the current sign up offer to betway is?

  32. Knottsy 5 years ago

Looking good so far Paul Downey. Almost half time – 1 up and by far the better team. Just hope they can keep it up second half!!

  33. Luke 5 years ago

as in the terms and conditions. it says something about having to wager 15 times your bonus before being able to withdraw. so if what I got a 25quid bonus., I’d have to play through 375pounds worth bets before being able to withdraw?

  34. Luke 5 years ago

possibly my final bet in a while, as results are often proving too unpredictable at the moment. tonight’s 4fold is
    real Madrid
    25 returns 172

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 5 years ago

Luke, you’re not on there. I’d never have backed Leeds v Palace or Bristol City at Middlesbrough. I left Everton and Celtic out because they were too short but still surprises.

  35. Mike 5 years ago

Even Rennes are losing now, possibly the worst Saturday I’ve ever had

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 5 years ago

Mike, reading the Racing and Football Outlook earlier and they write “Rennes are a banker bet to beat Evian”. I keep telling people there is no such thing.

  36. Mike 5 years ago

I know there’s no certainties! But jeeez it’s annoying! Had villa game to draw, Rennes to win, Real Madrid to win! So Rennes have cocked me up!

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 5 years ago

Mike, we all look at form and stats etc and on that basis everyone would have picked Rennes. But it’s just the way it goes in football sometimes.

  37. Mister Mr 5 years ago

Cyldebank won!! I was going to bet on them. My luck is so bad, ….. I predict winners and don’t bet on them

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 5 years ago

Mister Mr, they were about 5-2 but it wasn’t an away many fancied. It was Rob Roy’s first defeat in 11 games so a bit of a surprise. Having said that Clydebank played really well and deserved nothing less than the 3-0 win.

  38. Striker 5 years ago

I took Real Madrid in-play at half time, thinking this is good value and Madrid should come back easily! What a disappointment, specially after Rennes let me down earlier as well.
