IT'S a struggle putting up tips tonight due to the volatile nature of friendly internationals.
I've put my faith in Scotland after Craig Levein's sacking but so many of the other games depend on who stars and remember most nations are missing several or most of their star men.
So Scotland at Luxembourg launches the treble and I've added Israel and Russia. Israel, a biggest 21-20 at Blue Square, have lost just one in five and will take confidence from beating Luxembourg 6-0 and 3-0 in their last two qualifiers.
Russia shouldn't be experimenting as they look to put one over a USA side who don't face the same sort of quality in their qualifiers. The Russians are 3-4 at boylesports.
I'm hoping to see both scoring at Sweden v England and the big games between Holland v Germany and Italy v France. Add Romania v Belgium – two teams who have netted in their last five games – and Cyprus v Finland. The Cypriots have scored in their last four while Finland have hit six in their last three away games at Czech Rep, Northern Ireland and Estonia.

Charlie, I’ve seen that kind of price for over 3.5 goals but no bigger than 6-4 for over 2.5. It was 3-1 at Hills last night when I did my write-up but could have changed. I’ve seen goals tipped in a few places today so it might bet getting support.
Chris – Reus plays for Germany. He’s the attacker who’s been running amok for Dortmund this season and scored their opener against Madrid last week. Giroud is the Arsenal striker who plays for France and scored at the weekend. Mr F – Rhodes is starting and scored 2 on his last visit to Luxembourg on U21 duty I believe. AC if they don’t start they’re counted as void and you don’t lose your dough. I reckon most of those I’ve tipped should start…
Problem with betting on goalscorers in these int friendlies is that most will probably only get 45/60 mins so you’re not getting a full 90 if you’re backing them to score anytime. Thanks, but not for me.
Charlie, it’s a good point. Most teams will make a raft of changes and hardly anyone you back to score at any time will play 90 minutes. Also remember only some firms void players who don’t start but not all so you might only have 10 or 20 minutes for your man to score. It’s not for either tonight apart from maybe McGinn in what is not a friendly.
Bingo, I’ve changed Fletcher to Rhodes who I think scored a hat-trick on his last visit to the stadium with the Under-21s.

It is a good point Charlie with regards game time in friendlies but I still fancy Ibra, Reus and Rhodes to do the damage. Samaras and Giroud are long shots but worth a go. I think Rhodes to score in a Scotland win is a stick on at 6/4.

Joe, I honestly wouldn’t hammer anything in friendlies. If you fancy it go for it but check starting line-ups if you can before place the bet. It’s in New Jersey and unlikely to be played at too high a pace.

On this coupon they double the odds if he sores again and treble them for a hattrick yet I have only been paid on original odds. I tried phoning them but was told their was no one in to deal with it at the time so will try again tomorrow. Has anything like this happened to you before?
