IT'S always nice to start the month with a winner – and what an easy one it was too.

My Super Single was Southampton to score 2+ against Man City who were expected to field a weakened line-up. They did and the bet was up inside 30 minutes. Over 2.5 match goals was Greg's nap so that was a nice winner for him too.

Unfortunately due to technical problems yesterday morning most of the rest of our tips failed to be posted in time so not much point in telling you how we fared.

I reduced my Top Treble – having taken out Sassuolo – to a double but that was beaten by Valencia losing at home to Villarreal – the only European semi-finalist on the day not to lose.

I've posted a preview of Dundee v Dundee United with the visitors being relegated if the lose the derby. Taking WDW on derbies is always a risk but United have lost five in a row and Dundee have two strikers in the shape of Kane Hemmings and Greg Stewart who can really hurt them.

Dundee are a decent price at 6-4 and I'm willing to risk that and a second Super Single on Dundee -1. I've also flagged up a red card in the match at 12-5 at McBookie – and the man in the middle is our old friend Willie Collum.

I've also put a Chelsea v Spurs preview with Spurs needing to win to stop Leicester being crowned champions.

On the May Day holiday there are three games in England – including two vital ones featuring Brighton v Derby and Burnley v QPR. Nerves will play a part with wins for both sides vital as they bid to overcome Middlesbrough and put promotion in their own hands on the final day.

I don't think either side will get it easy and over 2.5 goals at Brighton – their last four games have totalled 16 – and Derby have little to lose as they try to maintain their form going into the play-offs.

If Brighton don't win Burnley will go up by beating QPR and while they look a bit short at 2-5 I reckon they'll come through.

So for my Top Treble I'm starting with Burnley and adding both to score at Chelsea and AIK. Chelsea v Spurs should be a cracker with both sides going for victory and for the third leg I'm on both to score at Norrkpoping v Helsingborgs although stats almost pointed me to AIK v Jonkoping.

Another great stat today is Werder Bremem not keeping a clean sheet in the Bundesliga this season. But bookies aren't daft so visitors Stuttgart are no bigger than 1-4 to score.

Bit of a sneaky one for the weekend. My money is on Chelsea to see Leicester crowned tonight. That must make Everton @ 7/2 a reasonable punt to win on Saturday because nothing is going to ruin that party.
I also fancy Newcastle 4/6 ?to beat Villa who can’t even seem to get a draw nowadays and Man United 10/11 to have to much for Norwich who are probably going down. Add in Arsenal 12/5 to beat a City side after Europe and to possibly nick second from spurs in that infuriating Arsenal way you have yourself a 47/1 acca. Simple ????
Prices will change tonight if Chelsea beat Tottenham. My quids on.
    United/Newcastle double is just over 2/1 ?

I understand your view point on everton win at leicester slightly. But even if they are crowned champions tonight i highly doubt leicester are going to take their foot off the gas in their last home game of the season. They are going to want to put on a show for their supporters instead of taking it easy against a very poor everton side.

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

meadway, if Spurs win tonight I think Leicester will beat Everton. If they are champions I won’t back them against Everton – that will be one big party no matter the result and the players will be partying from tonight.

    • ray_ez 8 years ago

It’s all about what happens tonight. I think chelsea will take advantage of an already heart sore spurs. Hazard seems to be interested again to so im going to go on him any time. Arsenal to win on Sunday is such an Arsenal thing to do. Although they have missed a big chance this season. I think they might pip spurs to second.
Bit more money on the double it has to be said but a quid on the fourfold is worth a pop in my opinion ☺

Chelsea to score v spurs 1-3
Helsingborg to score at norkopping 1-2
    double pays evens.
if you add Dundee double chance 2-5 then pays a shade over 7-4, but I will stick to a double.

    brief reasoning

Chelsea scored in 34 of last 36 homes, scored in 10 of last 11 h2h here and don’t like spurs so will delight in stopping them winning the league.

Helsingborg scored in 16 of last 17 aways, 15 of these being btts and overs.
last 11 norkopping home league games seen btts and overs, and last 7 seen norkopping btts and win.

    Dundee united are crap

    also like
    east Thurrock win 19-20
    aik solna btts 4-5
braga to score v benfica 4-6
    norkopping btts and overs 17-20
    norkopping btts and win 9-4

  4. nathanufton 8 years ago

Just before I logged off last night, the Joinville game yielded a goal with 15-20 mins left.
Managed to persistently jump onto staggered kickoff times with my preferred method of betting from early doors Australian footy right through to a few South American games with 8.15pm kickoffs.

I thought I’d be knocked off my stride when bet365 failed to settle for 50 mins on a Spanish lower league game and I was almost crying as I watched 2 of my proposed games deliver around the 20 minute mark. ( I do love jumping onto in-play no goal matches after 12-15 mins for the price boost ).

Needless to say I stuck at it and from a ” wake up ” starting balance of just over £40, I ended the 14hrs of stat trawling with a new balance of just over £255 thanks to a goal in the Joinville game.

Theres not much to go on right now and I’ve been surprisingly up since 5am. I’m well rested and my main focus is arguably one of the biggest games in the championship between Brighton ( nailed on home favourites ) and my beloved Derby.

Both teams are quite close in terms of form/points/goals for/against, and although Derby COULD afford to take the foot off the gas and Brighton HAVE to get a win. I cannot see this being a pushover. I’m not supremely confident on a Derby win, and I’m also not convinced Brighton will either.
What is certain as both teams need a win for very different reasons.

Brighton: A win today will put them top (all be it temporarily until Burnley play later) and needing to get 1 point from their last game against Middlesbrough. Of the top 3, Brighton have by far the toughest 2 games and their BEST chance of getting 3 points from either of these matches is against Derby.

Derby have a different agenda: Us fans are not stupid, and neither are the team. We do not fear Hull home or away, that’s not the issue. The issue is avoiding Borough and Burnley in the playoff final. If we were to play at our best, and apart from at home to Hull, I’ve not seen much of Derby’s best this term – we might sneak a draw against either of the top 2 clubs at Wembley with Burnley being more consistant than Borough. But if we want a say in who we’re likely to face in the playoff final ( barring a monumental Derby cock-up in the semi’s ), then Derby WILL want Brighton.

A draw this season at the Ipro and a 2 nil loss at the back end of last season when everyone was beating us but prior to that, look at the results of the last 5 meetings. 5 Derby wins including doing the league double over them 2 seasons back + 2 conclusive playoff semi victories. This is not going to be an easy game.
I expect cards, lots of them. Lots of tough tackles, scraps for every loose ball, I know both teams will give us end to end stuff and this match has the making of a high scoring game.
I think both will score, I also think over 2.5tmg’s has a decent chance of delivering too and my thought last week is the same as it was now. 2-1 to Derby.

The Derby price has fallen for a Derby win from 5/1 with bet365, I’ve not looked today but its been hovering around 9/2. I think that’s foolish of the bookies. I also saw a Derby double result around 13/10 with bet365 which looks gilt edged.

The last time I bet on this ( yes it was the first leg playoff semi at Brighton 2 seasons back ), I had a £30 double, Derby win & over 2.5 tmg’s + over 12 corners. I banked a £600 profit. Tried the same bet on the reverse fixture where the corners price had shortened + the Derby/overs price. I went higher on corners and think I fell a couple short to miss out on a repeat bank-boost.

I shall pull up a few stats/prices for you and I suggest shopping around. I’m certain some fool would be offering a better price than bet365 on a Derby win, a btts or a Derby double result.

In the meantime, I shall treat myself to a cooked breakfast courtesy of bet365 and line my stomach. Aldi’s Strawberry and Lime Cider occupies the bottom shelf of my fridge and today I shall make another prediction. That shelf will be empty come 16.15pm.

    Back later guys.

    • nathanufton 8 years ago

Derby were 5/1 then 9/2 a day back. Now at 19/4 with bet365. I’m thinking the bookies have figured out we have a big reason to go toe to toe with them.

Derby’s Bradley Johnson/Jeff Hendrick and number 2 keeper Lee Grant not expected to play any part due to injuries.

Brighton have 3 key players out, 2 are struggling to be fit in time but the best news of all from a Derby perspective, their part spoiler Bobby Zamora is not expected to be playing due to injury.

If Derby force a draw, we’ll have to rely on Brighton being beaten against Middlesbrough in the final day of the season to avoid them in the playoffs. If Brighton do beat us, then Brighton only need a draw against Borough to grab an auto-spot. Again, a Derby win would mean Brighton have to take 3 points against Borough – not an easy task.

    • nathanufton 8 years ago

Just been doing a bit of price checking on a few things in this match and when earlier matches start, if I can keep my bank-roll going, if I’ve made £30 profit before this match starts, i’ll be dropping £30 on a treble I really like the fancy of. On current prices, it would drop over £1100 if it delivers.

    • nathanufton 8 years ago

Been monitoring a few prices and Derby are now back up to 5/1 to win.

I’ve also pulled off some worthwhile stats regards Brighton playing other teams in the top 6 ( 8 matches so far ) and Derby ( 9 so far ).

      Here’s what I found:

Brightons record vs the top 6 sides 1 win, 6 draws, 1 loss
they’ve scored 6 and conceded 8. Their 1 win was against Hull ( 1 nil I think) , their only loss was a 3 nil at home to Borough.

Derby’s record reads 2 wins, 5 draws, 2 losses. 2 wins both against Hull – 2 nil away and 4 nil at home, the losses were in a 3 week period of January which was Derby’s darkest period of the season. It resulted in Paul Clement being shown the door. Both were away, a 4-1 loss to Burnley and a 2 nil to Borough. Both Bryson and Hughes were not fit for our bad January.

Not looking that good for Hull in the playoffs !! Borough at home to Brighton next weekend could be a tall order for Brighton. Which is why Derby absolutely have to have a say in who finishes 3rd.

I missed a tip last week against Sheff Wed, it was the cards market. I knew it would be an all out fight for every ball from both sides and the ref spent most of the match dishing out yellows. Anyone on that market would of seen their 5/6 romp home. Although I’ve not looked at ref stats yet, the bookies have drawn their line in the sand at 2.5 cards. This match will definitely see more than 3 cards to bring in a juicy 4/7 with bet365.

Both sides are capable of scoring and I know Brighton have been notching up some great scorelines this past month, but take a look at who they’ve played against – none of the top 6, and none fighting for relegation – i’ll rephrase that: no team in a relegation scrap that’s suddenly decided ” hey we need to up our game right now or we’re relegated ”
Brighton’s main goal threat seems to be from their one front man and a smattering of goals spread across the board.
Derby’s is somewhat different. Chris Martin not far behind Brighton’s star strikers tally, but with Ince and Russell either in double figures or there abouts + 3 midfielders all pitching in and 2 wing backs running at their back 4. This has the makings of a thrilling game.

Derby’s Bryson came back several games back into the starting 11 and wow have we missed him. I’d not say he’s on fire, but he’s given our attack that extra 10/15% that has been missing with his linkage. Thorne has been quite consistent but too many 7/10 performances for me, he needs to have a solid performance today. Lastly Hughes – Derby’s highly rated midfield dynamo. He’s been picking up game time after 8 months out with cruciate knee ligament surgery, he makes his first starting 11 against Sheff Wed and bam, floors a Sheff Wed player around 18 mins in……. I’m baaaaaack. !!
I can see Brighton try to cut off as much supply to Martin as possible and mark him out of the game, not really a problem, we have enough other attack minded players to seriously upset them today.

2 years ago in the playoff semi at Brighton, I had a £30 double of Derby and over 2.5tmgs + over 12 corners. And I like that. Throw in a cards overs bet and you have a tasty treble.

Prices have changed, I’ve made my £30 and I’ve dropped it on this treble:

      Derby and over 2.5tmg’s – 10/1
      Over 12 corners 7/4
      Over 2.5 cards 4/7 all with bet365

      returns £1426.07

I expect there to be lots of cards, a bag full of goals ( hopefully in Derby’s favour ) and lots of corners. Its likely that both teams will score, so a Derby 2-1 ( which is my gut feeling ) would deliver the 8/1.
Derby win price of 5/1 now, Derby double result has thus changed from 5/4 to 13/10, the Derby and overs 2.5 has moved from 8/1 to 10/1.

Given Brightons form against the top 6 and the fact that both sides will be up for it – so much at stake, this game is going to be hard fought, that’s a recipe for cards/corners and goals.

I don’t think Derby will change their side and again and I think we’ll be ” as you were” with :

      Carson
      Christie/Keogh/Shackell/Olsen
      Thorne
      Bryson/Hughes
      Russell/Martin/Ince

Hughes may be subbed around 70 mins or so to ease him back into full fitness and Butterfield could come in off the bench. Likewise, if its not clicking up front for either Russell or Ince come 70 mins and I think Nick Blackman will get a run out.

I’ll post confirmed team news around 13:30pm. Best of luck lads, sign up with a new bookie, get your new customer bonus and lets smash the bookies safe open….

Stranger things have happened this season in Leicester @ 5000/1. !! Have faith.

forgot to mention, Derbys goals for and against the other top 6 is 11 scored, 10 conceded over 9 matches.

    • nathanufton 8 years ago

Contradicting myself here, I wrote the bulk of my write-up before bet365 had kindly changed the Derby win odds. I can confirm its 10/1 for Derby win and over 2.5 tmgs. NOT 8/1.

    • sean ireland 8 years ago

Nathan does the fact that Brighton bost a won 9 drew 3 lost 0 last 12 and have only lost once last 18 winning 13 not concern you? They have also kept a clean sheet in 5/6 homes conceding only against Burnley in that period.Huge call by you in this game.GOOD LUCK.

    • snowster 8 years ago

Head and heart both with the Albion. Derby are in playoffs Albion going for auto. Albion at home. Derby inconsistent all season. Derby have a decent record at Amex I think though which is the only concern

    • nathanufton 8 years ago

A similar record that Hull had if I’m not mistaken. Brighton will mop up mid table teams all day long but scoring 6 and conceding 8 in 8 games so far against the top 6 teams has to be a worry. Derby have won 9 away this season, have similar goals for/against but have faired slightly better against the top 6. scoring 11 and conceding 10. Derby’s patchy time was early this year – January. Everybody was beating us and we’ve thrown 2 points away to Rotherham. The pressure is on Brighton to win because given they’ve been beaten by Borough 3 nil at home, they will HAVE to beat Borough to grab the auto spot. Even a draw won’t stop them needing to beat Borough to go 2nd.
Derby are playing to have a say in who they’ll likely play in the final – barring a catastrophic cock-up against a side we’ve beaten home away, putting 6 past without reply. That’s why I’m confident Derby will make the final.
I’ve also made no secret of the fact Derby would rather play Brighton in the final than Borough. I see Burnley home and dry today.
Had Derby beaten Sheff Wed, we’d of come into this game with 6 straight wins. So 5/1 for us to overcome them today leaves me bewildered. This is by far a meaningless game for Derby.
We also went 2/3 of the season without 2 of our best midfielders, Bryson and Hughes. Bryson is showing his worth and judging by how tenacious Hughes was with his tackling against a big physical side in Sheff Wed on first start, you wouldn’t of thought he’d just had career threatening knee surgery.

The Derby team is exactly as I predicted as per above. Even if Derby lose today, Brighton still have to avoid defeat away to Borough. No easy task.

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

nathanufton, good shout with Derby – you probably put me off backing Brighton.
If it stays like this Burnley’s motivation should be even higher.

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

nathanufton, I respect your opinion as you know but I reckon Brighton will win.
But best bet could be both teams to score.

    • warktheline 8 years ago

    • archie 8 years ago

nathanufton, looked at cards for derby, they are even money over 1 booking and 11/4 over 2 bookings .
being as you expect cards, i think both of these wil come in.

I went a bit mad on the number of posts yesterday, but it was a welcome distraction from revision, and I only recorded a small loss with 3 winners and 4 losers.

Today looks like a great day for corner betting and I have 2 lined up. After today, I won’t be posting until the Sevilla v Shakhtar markets are available.

    Bet 1:

    Chelsea over 5.5 team corners

    Pays 11/10 (Bet365)

Chelsea really want to trip Tottenham up and I can really see this happening. They have recorded at least 6 corners in each of their last 8 home matches, and I can see this trend continuing as they go for the jugular. Tottenham have conceded at least 6 corners in 4 of their last 6 away matches.

    Bet 2:

4-fold ‘corner in the first 10 minutes’:

    Chelsea v Tottenham
    Genoa v Roma
    Napoli v Atalanta
    Dundee v Dundee United

    Pays 4.67/1 (Bet365)

All 4 matches involve teams who have had a lot of corners recently. All 4 matches hold some importance and involve teams with something to play for. Worth a few quid, I reckon.

Couple of big boy teams playing in the Serie A tonight, fighting for 2nd place for automatic qualification in the champs league and Roma arguably have the more difficult task away to in form Genoa. 2nd placed Napoli lead them by a couple of points and +6 goal difference, which no doubt they’ll look to extend tonight.

Napoli have no injuries or suspensions and welcome back rude boy Higuain into the fray whereas Atalanta have obtained a couple of suspensions, a few doubtful players and nothing to play for. Following the 6-0 demolishing of Bologna last time out, I’m going for a comfy win for the home team. Napoli should get a few without reply but even if I was generous to say Atalanta will find the net, it wont be enough.

    Superb Shingle

Napoli vs Atalanta – Napoli to win both halves pays a meaty 21/20. 8pm

Also like the look of a couple of 6pm games as some have mentioned.

    Kalmar vs Orebro – BTTS
    IFK Norrkoping vs Helsingborg -BTTS

Dangerous double pays just over evens

    Tantalising treble pays 4/1 @Coral

    Enjoy

    No tips on the weekend.

    Final Monthly stats:
    Pts staked: 17
    Balance: +14

    Chelsea v Spurs: Correct Score 2-1 @ 10/1

Spurs, minus Dele Alli, might struggle tonight with the pressure. Chelsea won’t be in the mood to do their London rivals any favours. A tight 2-1 win for the home side seems like value at 10/1. Willian may also get on the score sheet.

Brighton v Derby: Connor Goldson to score anytime @ 14/1

Chris Hughton is criminally underrated as a manager. He has steered an unfancied Brighton side to the verge of the Championship summit. Tonight they must beat Derby and should do so with a goal or two to spare. There’s not much value in the win markets, so Goldson (2 goals in 22) might have a chance to nick one from a set piece.

Dundee v Dundee Utd: Kane Hemmings to score 2+ @ 6/1

Hemmings scored twice against United in the last derby away from home and is taken to repeat that trick today. Dundee could hammer United. 11/1 on Dundee at -2 on the handicap is not the craziest bet either.

    ___________________________

Malaga have been pretty average at home this season winning, drawing and losing in pretty much equal measure which is in keeping with their midtable position. I am however going to back them tonight as they host La Liga’s poorest travellers Levante with 13 defeats from 17 away. Its a relegation battle in the Bundesliga and strange to see Bremen sitting second bottom. They host fellow strugglers Stuttgart and I am backing the home side to get the win which would take them out of the relegation zone and put Stuttgart in it. Bremen have been poor at home this season but with their top flight status in jeopardy they have taken 2 wins in their last 4 home games which is double what they put together up to that point. Stuttgart are on a poor run but as they are also fighting for survival I expect it to be a close match. Finally the Taca da Liga semi final where I am backing Benfica to take the win at Estadio da Luz to book a final place against Maritimo. The visitors are Braga who have a really poor recent away record.

Best of luck with your bets today

just a wee heads up psg w v lyon w at 7.45, lyon won the home tie 7-0 not often you get great odds on womens football on goals but o3.5mgs sits at a very tempting 13/8 on pp, will see how my bet goes today but may have £20 on this and a tenner on o4.5 at 7/2 will see…………

    • wasclueless 8 years ago

Craneguy … worried they will do like they did in the last round – hammered Prague 9-1 …then in the second leg drew 0-0 .. worth checking the team news before KO and seeing if Le Sommer, Hegerberg and Abily start. In the second game against Prague on Hegerberg started and was hooked at HT.

    Afternoon gents

Fancy gosls at Bith Chelsea and Dundee tonight bit siding with the match at Dens Park

    Dundee v Dundee United

Being a St Johnstone fan it’s always nice watching our rivals from up the tay slug it out in the bottom 6 while we yet again put them both to shame! Sadly for United this will be there last Derby match for a while and with Hemmings, Stewart and Harkins leading the line for the Dundee you have to fear for them! Never nice being relegated, especially at your city rivals but that the likely outcome tonight! Can’t argue with Mr F’s tips for this match – like I usally do with this match, it’s goals for me! I still think United will score , Billy McKay’s shots to goal ratio is appalling but if United score it will likely come from him ( and probably from the spot)

Back over 2.5 match goals 5/6 (BetVictor) (NAP)

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

GregBrowning, I’m hoping all of those goals are Dundee’s.

Last nights tip with Zamora HTFT was a real success after lots of early goals and the score line finishing 5-0! Well done to Kenny who made good profits on the game.

Tonight I’m staying away from the UK games as I’m going to a league that I know well for goals.

At 6pm tonight in Sweden, it’s Kalmar vs Orebro and there should be goals. This is only the 7th game in this league however it’s not been short of goals.

Orebro is the team I keep an eye on in this league. The first game they got beat 2-0 at home but since then the score lines have been 1-3, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2 and 2-4. The last 5 games been both to score and over 2.5 goals.

Their opponents tonight Kalmar aren’t shy in front of goal either. Their first game finished 1-0 however since then, their last 5 games have seen both to score with 4-1, 3-2, 1-1, 3-2 and 1-1.

Bet 365 giving 21/20 for both to score and over 2.5 goals! This is my NAP today. Good luck

    Main bet-
    FK BODO/GLIMT v SARPSBORG over 2.5 match goals 4/5

Summary: I’m going , I believe with the safest option! Hoping I haven’t jumped on a ‘false’ trend, but SARPSBORG have caught my eye lately, some may remember me I tipped them over 2.5 team goals midweek, in which they duly obliged, anyhow, they’ve had a poor start to season, until more recently were scoring goals doesn’t appear to be a problem. Undefeated in last 5 doesn’t paint a true picture, but their last two league games have seen them score 8! This included the dismantling of Molde 4-0. Bodo have lost their last two home games, scoring 4 but conceding 6! I’m adding some small stakes that also involve this game.

    Small stakes-
    Over 1.5 f/h match goals 13/8
SARPSBORG over 1.5 team goals 6/4.

As I’ve said, will exercise caution with stakes, but sometimes you have to go with your gut feeling!

    Good day to all.
From Liverpool but living in wales.
Welsh cup final today TNS walked the league and rested players in last game for today.
They still won that game 5-1 away, they lost there last meeting 3-2 away to airbus which should give them added incentive, not that they should need any for a cup final.
Put in Benfica at home to beat braga in a league cup smei-final.
Benfica won there last 3 meetings and braga lost there last 3 away including a 5-1 to benfica.
    Pays 2.43 Double good luck.

Season coming to a close mean something I start looking towards other more obscure leagues.
At the moment that is the Swedish Allsvenskan and the Bolivian top flight.
Onto today’s tip, a BTTS treble in Sweden:

    AIK Stockholm v Jönköpings Sodra:
AIK have played 6 games & have saw BTTS in 5/6 & 3/3 at home.
Jönköpings have played 6 games & have saw BTTS in 4/6 & 2/3 away from home.

    Kalmar v Örebro:
Kalmar have played 6 games & have saw BTTS in 5/6 & 2/3 at home.
Örebro have played 6 games & have saw BTTS in 5/6 & 3/3 away.

    Norrköping v Helsingborg:
Norrköping have played 6 games & have saw BTTS in all 6.
Helsingborg have played 6 games & have saw BTTS in all 6.

The treble is coming in at around 3.8/1 .
All three games kick off at 18:00.

      1-1, just need a late Derby winner………..
      nailbiter

  53. nathanufton 8 years ago

Running outta time for goals in this match, 10 men of Brighton are unlikely to score, Derby might catch them on the break but I still think i’ll fall short by a couple of goals.
Brighton are pushing though. Its also Dunks 2nd sending off this season so he’ll miss the Borough game + the 1st leg of the playoff.

  54. nathanufton 8 years ago

1 goal short. btts came in, 30 secs away from a narrow win. Shot ourselves in the foot, we should of put the game out of reach. Cards overs romped home, as did corners. They have to beat Borough in the last game of the season. Would of loved to of delivered a 45/1 treble for the site.

I can’t moan too much, my bank builder is now up to £367. I have TNS/BURNLEY/NAPOLI/BENFICA matches to move that forward.

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

nathanufton, unlucky. Btts was my shout but glad I didn’t back Brighton. Exciting finish to the season though.

    • nathanufton 8 years ago

@mr-fixit, thrilling stuff indeed. Hindsight is a wonderful thing: I did say I wasn’t confident Brighton could beat us and wasn’t supremely confident on a rams win. Hopefully from a damage limitation perspective, it steered most away from a Brighton win to save a few bets, but there was enough meat on the bone from other stuff I tipped for members to pick and choose which of my elements they’d like in their bets. Funny thing is, I said to my mate that I felt the weakest part of the treble was the corners, but Brighton led the charge in that department and by halftime, there were 11. Just 2 short.

    • nathanufton 8 years ago

@jimba an extra goal would of been the icing on the cake, but I shouldn’t be too downhearted. My £30 bet was paid for from my own bank-building method ( its quite successful once you get the hang of it, its in the betting and challenges section for members – read all parts and you’ll have some success ). I was pleased I expected btts to come in but never out and out tipped it, my overs cards romped home @ 4/7 as did my over 12 corners @ 7/4 – I lost count at about 17. My buddy took my tips but swapped out the derby and overs bet for the derby win @ 5/1, he cashed out his £5 @ £54 so he was chuffed. I was more gutted for the site as a whole as we’re all here for the same thing – make money. My own bank-building started on the day on £255 I think, ended the day on £467. Have jumped on a few Japanese games this morning and I’m 55% up on my start stake – £727. I’m now at the point I shall bank 1, bet 1.

    KR VS. VÍKINGUR REYKJAVÍK:

Nothing of note for the Night Owl later on and although I’ve posted an Icelandic goals double, it may be worth looking a little closer at this game.

KR are and have been the stronger of the two teams and certainly fared better in the recent H2H with a 0-2 away win.

KR may well be looking to set their stall out for a strong league campaign after mixed pre-season Cup runs have seen them string 5 straight wins together with 4-3-3-4-2 team goals within those 5.

As far as I can glean from other sources, there’s nothing to indicate Vikingur have any additions to their squad that might throw KR’s strength and a solid home win looks on the cards.

However, this is Iceland and both teams scoring can never be ruled out!

    Three selections to consider:

    OVER 3.5 MGS…7/4
    (2.5 Points)

    OVER 4.5 MGS…21/5
    (1 Point)

    KR -1 H/CAP…31/20

      Completely deserved, good on them!

Tottenham players totally lost it Tonight, who was on cards?

  96. nb89 8 years ago

Anybody know who officially got the 1st Dundee goal? Had Hemmings wincast but it’s coming up as lost. A few places have got him down as the scorer.

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

nb89, it’s been given to Gadzhalov – the guy who headed it. Tough to see if Hemmings got a touch or not.

    • bettingman1 8 years ago

Gadzhalov was giving the goal as it was on target when he headed it

    • bettingman1 8 years ago

Gadzhalov was giving the goal as it was on target when he headed it but as fixit said it’s tough to see if he got a touch on it or not….. Hope it pays out for you ?

  101. kelly.d 8 years ago

twitter is down, has leicester city just broken twitter

  102. ray_ez 8 years ago

What a gamblers match that was. A bit gutted after cashing out my acca when dundee went 0-1 down. On the plus side managed to hit kane/hazard 4 corners each 40+ booking points. 20/1
    Corners in play
    Cards in play
    Hazard any time
Gutted for spurs to lose it like that though. Chuffed for Leicester. That’s the stuff dreams are made of. Football gold and an unforgettable season for anyone who loves football.
