IT'S been a really quiet couple of days so it's good to get some “real” football back.
Tonight could be the night Celtic clinch the Premiership title although I expect Aberdeen to make them wait until Sunday by winning at Dundee.
In England it's Derby v QPR and I've posted a preview of those games. My Super Single in today's Record is Aberdeen to win to nil at 6-4 and while I wouldn't put anyone off that I'm taking less risk with the site choice.
Elsewhere it's Hertha Berlin v Hoffenheim, Espanyol v Real Betis and Guingamp v Nancy among others.
And for goals fans the Jupiler League is back and I expect Greg will post French Ligue 2 tips.
As usual my focus is on Saturday's Daily Record column but with that in good shape I've had a closer look at Friday's games.
Last night it was suggested I take Derry to score 2+ at home to Bray and while that's a good shout at evens I'm simply backing Derry to win at the same price. The club return to action for the first time since the death of captain Ryan McBride and it will be an emotional night at Brandywell.
Fans will be out in force to pay tribute to McBride and I'm sure the players will be determined to win in his name. Derry have beaten Bray in their last five meetings at home and won both home matches this season convincingly.
I don't have too much time for a write-up but my both teams to score treble is based on form and stats. Espanyol v Real Betis looks the strongest contender with both scoring and conceding although the h2h doesn't back this up.
Add Hertha Berlin v Hoffenheim – fifth v fourth and a game that should provide goals. Hertha could edge it but Hoffenheim are tough to beat and it has the feel of a 2-1 or 1-1.
Complete the treble with Zulte v Anderlecht as the complicated Belgian league system sees the start of the Champions Group with Zulte in third place and four points Anderlecht. Both will want to win here and should lead to goals.

A week away from betting has done me a world of good, and I’m hoping to return with a clearer head than how I was last time around. I got a bit overzealous posting too many tips on a couple of games, and kept feeling as if results weren’t going my way, so going in slightly harder each time, without a win going my way.
Tonight’s match sees a rejuvenated Adelaide face off against Perth. New boy Baba Diawara has been an instant hit for the Reds, scoring 4 goals in his first 3 games for the side, resulting in Adelaide finally getting off the bottom of the league. IV heard of them but never known 1 MR F is it possible do u think to earn a full time living betting solely on FOOTBALL.
I know a couple of professional gamblers and I’ve said before you can make a living but it’s not easy.
These guys can be online 14-16 hours a day trying to spot opportunities, mostly inplay and also making sure they can cover what are normally large stakes on short prices.
One guy who I know does OK aims to win just £20 an hour – for example £200 on a 1-10 shot.
If he can make £160 tax free every day that’s £800 for a five-day week.
One thing he needed was a big betting bank to start with in case of early losses.

However, one game in Ireland that might have a goal or two on the sly is Shamrock v Finn Harps. Both sides are averaging about 3 goals a game so far this season, and I feel the markets are priced to reflect the stature of either side, rather than their form. Only Cork have kept Finn Harps from scoring in their opening 6 games, and they even got a solid result at St Patricks who, like Shamrock, haven’t started brilliantly. Shamrock have conceded in each of their 6, but admittedly have played the likes of Derry, Dundalk and Cork. Still, the price on BTTS is huge and I think there’s every chance Finn Harps could grab one, assuming Shamrock can do the same!
Nothing chunky, I’ll just have half a stake on it.

Tricky one to read this but Espanola head into the game as the form team and, despite reservations on the outcome, I’ve a feeling we may be in for a few goals.
