IT’S been a good week for the Super Single and from being 16 points down at one stage I’m back in profit with Valencia being the latest winner.
Now all I want is to land a Saturday success. Recently I’ve been doing better with the weekend Top Trebles but I reckon today’s the day.
I put up a shortlist earlier in the week and it will be no surprise to regulars to see me side with Leeds at 1-1 with bet365, William Hill and others at Blackpool.
Leeds’ 3-0 midweek win at Fulham suggests they’re a step up from Alloa whose new signing Michael Chopra this week branded the Wasps better than the Seasiders he played with last season.
Blackpool haven’t won at home since the end of January and boss Lee Clark is resigned to relegation with his men 10 points adrift at the foot. Leeds, on a five-game unbeaten run, have been cut to evens and could go off at odds on.
Another Championship side who can’t win at home are Wigan – their miserable run goes back to August and I took Watford as a 10pt Super Single for their visit to the DW in midweek.
Malky Mackay’s side are improving but Bolton will take heart from the fact their rivals’ three recent wins came on the road. Neil Lennon’s men have struggled away but rested players in midweek at Ipswich as they attempt to move 13 points clear of the third-bottom Latics.
Bolton are a big price at 11-4 with Coral so let’s go safer with Bolton plus one at 3-4 (bet365) and that selection is on the homes with Brentford who look a great against Millwall at 4-6 with Betfred.
The Top Treble has been a big success in recent weeks and I’m going with Brentford, MK Dons and Queen of the South.
