I flagged up possible goals bets in Ireland but the stats went against them and there were hardly and goals throughout the top flight.
Tonight it's about more friendlies and the Copa America with Costa Rica v Paraguay, the second match of the tournament, a tough one to call.
This morning I tipped Colombia to beat USA and to win Group A so the 2-0 gets them off to a super start.
I put up France -1 as a Super Single yesterday and I'm adding a both teams to score treble for 1pt – two friendlies and the early-morning Copa clash between Brazil and Ecuador.
First up it's Austria v Holland – two teams capable of scoring – then I'm on Germany v Hungary with the Germans now eight games since they kept a clean sheet. Complete in America with two sides likely to compete for top spot in Group B. Brazil are not at full strength but should score while Ecuador have netted in their last eight.

Leganes have to match Gimnastic’s result to secure automatic promotion, and although their corner averages are only around 9-10, their last away saw 16 as they fight tooth-and-nail to get into La Liga.

Game number 2 in the Copa America and despite Paraguay’s poor form (won 1 in 6) I fancy them to win here.
Costa Rica had a flyer in the WC but their big miss will be Keylar Navas in net – an ongoing achilles injury putting paid to the talismanic keeper’s participation.
With Navas out, the quality of Paraguay’s midfield and attack may well be too strong for the Costa Rican defence.
Paraguay reached the final 4 last year and although that may be a stretch too far, they certainly carry a threat. Antonio Sanabria would be my choice for ATGS.

I dont doubt the stats, your ability or the fact it seemed like a good bet. My point is how much you stake on a good bet.
Sometimes you get a feel of a game in play and an additional bet is great but, 80 points is 4-5x bigger than any bet I’ve seen you post (in fact earlier in the thread you said I have 2 great bets – should I place 7.5 points on each or 15 points on the one you like best?)
The stats back your bet up but you’re betting on 11 players on each team, a ref and a couple of linemen who get things wrong (think about that goal you should have had last sunday in one of the nordic matches). It’s also a friendly – you get my drift …..
All I’m saying is whilst it takes balls of steel to place such a bet, if you lose it takes a while to recover. Smart gamblers never go over a certain %age of their betting pot. I just worry you look to win too quickly rather than a more steady approach which will provide you much better long term returns (I promise you).
Just my opinion Harry but only because I dont want you to make a mistake we’ve all seen too often before.

@petet i understand what you mean mate and i never look for fast profit only today as a one of as i saw a opportunity to good to miss, very rare. I do challenges normally and i start at £30 and take my time. I am doing this as challenges are like impossible while most of these games are on, especially in the dodgy leagues. ( waiting till BPL is back etc ) I never do point stakes or anything normally so this isn’t what i am used to. I don’t really need to do what others do while doing point stakes as i won’t be doing this in 2 months time anyway :) I have made my profit now and most likely going to take a break till my challenges are back. @harrybaines I understand the challenges are tougher at the moment – as Greg said the other day, unless you delve into the 8th tier of some obscure country the ‘decent’ football is very limited at the moment.

I know this is not a tip Mr F but oh dear oh dear. I posted my winning slip on twitter and footyaccums retweeted it and someone sent me a dm saying he gets abused, he is homeless, he is from Africa and he needs cash to cover his monthly needs in food.
I immediately thought “Scam” and posted a screenshot on my tweet calling out that he is a scammer, as people from Africa contacting people over here are 90% scammers, well the stereotype is anyway.
He messaged me again saying can you remove the tweet as everyone will think he is scamming now. I asked him to send a picture of him. If i just said send me a picture he could find any African lad and pretend he is him. I asked him to send a picture of him… Facing the camera and with his hand up with his thumb up and the rest of his fingers except the middle one. He sent me a picture about 5 minutes after how i asked and i was in total shock. I don’t think this is a scam and i am tempted to send him something. Can anyone find a loop hole here? It could be a scam but now the odds are greater that his is genuine. Any input please? Ill post the link on the picture, you can see that isn’t a house anywhere in the uk and most likely it is Africa.

this is not the first time i have heard this story, usually live in the best of houses but use particular sites (ie.that wall) as to make things look real as they know you are not going to hand over money without some sort of proof. up to you but personally i would not.

Laskillfull thanks for the input, as you are from Nigeria and there is also a stereotype there for scamming do you think he is legit or is a fake? How could it be fake though? After he has done what i have asked his is obviously there? Have you heard of scamming techniques like this?

ask him how much he need to feed in Naira for period in question, also people would hardly scam u from Nigeria as a black, they scam most times as white identities these days, I just feel he could b legit. never heard of people scamming this way tho but d amount he needs in naira could tell if he only needs to feed or he need real cash for other stuffs that scammers need money for.

Don’t send him anything. If you want to donate to people in need do it through Oxfam or another reputable charity.

Harry, I don’t donate any of my hard earned overseas as I don trust em, I look after our own, those who have fallen on hard times, who have served our country. Care homes and children’s hospitals etc etc. I leave the overseas stuff to Lenny Henry and One direction I don’t think they should pester me on comic relief night to donate overseas when they nearly have as much as me, as I say I prefer to look after our own, that’s just me though!

We all want to believe it is real and that we could make a difference to someone’s life. A Nigerian asking for money through Twitter is 100%up to no good. It is a business for them. 10000 rejections and 1 poor person who falls for it.

#18000 is the approved monthly minimum wage. but if u earn 150k monthly u could live comfortably, people earn above 1.5 to 2 million in a month anyway.. just a matter of class… for example an ordinary person would spend 500# to feed in a day. but if u wanna eat good food at least #1000 a day. so 43000# is big for an average Nigerian but quite small for wat a scammer would demand except if he’s accumulating from other sources…
