IT was a decent day with my Super Single winning, Greg's bets coming up – and of course anyone following harrybaines' challenges will be stinking rich.
I couldn't see much I liked but took “bankers” Brann and Rijeka – who won by an aggregate of 10-1 – and added Rangers -1 at East Stirling.
It was a conservative bet paying 6-5 and I'm always happy to double my money.
That's the Super Single almost back in profit for the month – I deducted 0.25pts for covering the Rangers game – and Saturday's selection is St Mirren draw no bet at Hamilton
There is another round of
Betfred Cup ties and I've posted a separate preview. I'm putting a fourfold on after last Saturday's fivefold won – Ayr at home to Edinburgh City, Dundee at home to Dumbarton, Ross County at home to Raith and Motherwell at Annan.
I've posted some thoughts on the Champions Cup game between Celtic and Leicester and have now looked out a goals treble.
It starts with Rosenborg v Haugesund. Rosenborg have won eight out of eight and should win but fourth-placed Haugesund could score as they've netted six on their last two visits here – 5-3 and 4-3 defeats.
Stay in Norway with Molde v Sarpsborg. Again Molde should win but they've conceded 10 in four games while their opponents eight in four and conceded six in those games.
Go across the North Sea to Fife to complete the treble with at Inverness v Dundee Utd. Three of the last four meetings between the sides in the Highlands have saw both score and the other was a 5-0 cup rout for United who hit six in midweek against Cowdenbeath.

In December 2020 we sadly

Played with realistic stakes and with genuine research, Nathan and others have put hours worth of posts onto the site and there is a ‘go to’ workshop that is incredibly well thought out and won’t put your finances in jeapordy.
Apologies if this upsets some folk but we’re talking about substantial amounts of money that are patchy at best being claimed on challenges that have no true ‘accumalative growth’ from start to finish.
Be VERY careful of who you follow and don’t always believe the hype – at the end of the day…you’re not following a pop group…you are laying down hard-earned cash.

I see quite a few are on Malmo. Let’s hope they get going in the 2nd half.
Vidar has had Malmos’ best chance sin the first half with Kalmar 1-0 up at the break. Hopefully comes in but small stakes won’t worry me. Out tonight so while the head is clear I will post tomorrows bets. China is the destination and I think there is value on two of the home sides. I’m staking higher stakes as I did last weekend where I’m more confident on selections. Stake what you can afford but remember I’m still trying to break even for July.
Jiangsu Suning host Henan Construction with the away side having picked up only 1 point in their last 5 away games and conceding 11 goals in the process. Their only point was against Shandong Luneng who had really struggled until recently, which I will elaborate more on shortly. Jiangsu have a good squad with ex Chelsea Brazilian Ramires, and Shakhtar Donetsk star Alex Texeira. They also bought a young Colombian not long ago called Roger Martinez who got a brace on his debut in a 4-0 thrashing of Hebei the other day. Suning should be able to get a few goals.
As stated Shandong Luneng are my next pick against a Ba-less Shanghai Shenua. I picked Shenua to score early the other day which Obafemi Martins did so, but they looked very bad in the second half and it was attack after attack for Shijiazhuang who eventually came back from behind to win. If the same happens against Luneng it could get worse with the likes of Graziano Pelle, Papis Cisse and Walter Montillo in the Luneng ranks. Shanghai have conceded 2 or more in their last 4 away games, and incredibly 12 out of their last 13 trips to Shandong.
Jiangsus’ goal time is 39:00 and Lunengs’ is 38:00 @ 5/6 with 365 which I think are very possible, but I’ll take my chances on the RT2 Goals market where you are getting better value considering the current form of the away sides.

Bit of news on Palmeiras v Athletico MG. Palmeiras usually bang the goals in but their main striker has just been snatched away by Brazil squad so he’s out. Also they have not beaten Atletico MG in 10 attempts, home and away.
