ONE punter won £10k for a 10p bet last weekend – and that summed up the results.
They were shocking so well done to the London bloke who included the likes of Bradford at 12-1 to beat Chelsea and Middlesbrough at 8-1 to win at Man City.
Strangely, his 10fold win – the most Ladbrokes have paid out on a 10p stake – was almost beaten by 1-9 shots Real Madrid who needed a last-gasp penalty to win at Cordoba.
It's back to league action this weekend with the exception of the League Cup semi-finals in Scotland and that should bring better news for punters.
After much debate I've taken Falkirk -1 as my Super Single ahead of St Johnstone and Crystal Palace. The Bairns were superb last week as they won 3-2 at Hearts and face a Dumbarton side who have lost two of their last three games 5-1 – including last week at home to bottom side Livingston.
A straight Falkirk win is also on my Top Treble along with Hibs to beat Raith and Ipswich to see off Wigan. Hibs have won four and drawn two of their last six and have started banging in the goals with 17 in six outings.
Ipswich have one of the best records in the Championship and should add to Malky Mackay's misery today. It's a surprise to see Mick McCarthy's side priced as high as 4-5 with bet365, McBookie and William Hill for the visit of a side in such poor form.
Ipswich have won nine of their last 12 at Portman Road – their only defeat coming to Derby – while Mackay has endured a torrid time at the DW with just one victory in 11.
High-earning stars such as Shaun Maloney, Ben Watson, Ivan Ramis and Callum McManaman have left during the window so Mackay faces not only a drop fight but a rebuilding process. He's signed Inverness striker Billy Mckay and Leeds defender Jason Pearce to start the process.

This should be a cracking match but for me, I feel Aberdeen will edge it! They’ve lost just two of their last 12 encounters with United and will be at almost full strength for Saturdays match! United have a decent team and have some classy players in their ranks, Aberdeen for me though have experience right through the team and having won this trophy last year, will want to defend it! It is a tough game to call but going forward. Rooney, Goodwillie, Pawlett, Hayes and McGinn are all a threat – defensively United for me conceded too many goals, it’s only their a ability to score that has ensured they sit 4th and not 4th bottom! I say that as only St Mirren : Motherwell, Roas county and Dundee have conceded more than the Arabs!

Wide awake after getting home early yesterday from my trip away, and looking forward to seeing the Dons at Hampden this afternoon! Bus leaves at 8am so hardly any point trying to get back to sleep now as its nearly 4am!
This one could go either way, but I’ll repeat what I said on here before the game at Tannadice in December, if we can keep Ciftci quiet we’ll win – we ran out 2-0 winners. Although he’s not been in great scoring form recently, there’s no doubt he’s their biggest goal threat.
Ash Taylor will be a big miss at the heart of our defence, on loan Donervon Daniels could be handed his debut in his place. Other than that I don’t expect any changes to the side that’s on a 10 game unbeaten run. Everything considered I fancy us to go through, but it will be a tough game.
I think there will be a few goals today, both teams like to attack and have plenty of pace in the final third which will stretch the defence’s on the wide Hampden pitch.

As a Brentford fan, we have been playing a lot better recently, with an away win last week at Norwich and away win the week before at Brighton (who have been playing on good form in recent weeks)

Marseille are used to collecting all 3 points at home, having gone 10-0-1 so far this season with 25 goals scored and only 8 conceded.
As mentioned Evian are 16th and bad away form is mostly to blame as they’re 2-0-9 on their travels with 11 goals scored and 25 conceded, the only wins coming against 14th place Bastia and 15th place Lorient.

A first versus worst matchup here as Hearts are running away with the Championship and though they suffered their first loss of the season last week no one can win them all and that did come against a very in form Falkirk, who are 6-2-1 in their last 9 games.
For the season Hearts are now 17-3-1 with 54 goals scored and only 13 conceded, while playing away they’re 8-2-0, having scored 21 goals and conceded only 4.
Alloa Athletic will be fighting to avoid relegation all season long and at this point sit in last place, having only managed to collect 14 points from their first 21 games with a record of 3-5-13.

Phil dowd is one poor ref England should be ashamed of him.
Derby have pretty much stuck to their usual 4-3-3 attacking formation and kept Darren Bent on the bench. Cardiff ( apologies if I am mistaken ) have a 4-1-2-1-2 diamond formation, I am guessing that Cardiff like Derby have a holding midfielder sitting in front of their back 4. I think both managers have set their teams up to attack, and if I’m honest, this game should go over 2.5 goals, good call on the both to score recommendation.
The reverse fixture ended 2-2 with Derby scoring a disallowed early goal and then going down 2 nil which we recovered by scoring 2.
As I’ve said before, Cardiff isn’t usually a great place for Derby to get much from, but I do feel Cardiff are not as good as they have been in previous seasons, theyre not on a great run of results and Derby have won every game bar 1 against forest in their last 7 or 8 games.

How’s the trebles going for you? I tend to do no more than doubles but take a large stake in the highest % as a single to cover all the other bets. If that wins then everything is pure profit .
Strict trebles over the past two weekends im 4/5 and ive done two doubles as well. Treble is my maximum but if there’s only enough selections. The super single is a great cover, its very rare something above 150% doesn’t come in any category So if I have one that high, its my safety.
