STUFF the Super Singles – I think I'll just stick with Daily Doubles! My 19-20 double landed yesterday thanks to both to score at Utrecht and Ajax to beat Groningen – and I had to laugh at the guy who slagged me for picking a winner.

Ironically on the day I asked for site users to vote for the Super Single I landed one out of two on my shortlist with the other two void. Zwolle won at Utrecht but Ajax didn't win to nil. But the vote was for no Super Single so harm done.

I enjoyed a decent day thanks to the double and my first attempt at William Hill's goal in the first 30 minutes coupon. I mentioned my treble in a commment to raaljaca and that came up thanks to the Utrecht (8-13), Ajax (8-13) and Apollon (1-1) matches – I also did a very speculative 57-1 sevenfold I'd never dream of tipping.

Basically it was loose change put on the three already mentioned plus Braga (4-6), Istra (5-6) and Atletico Nacional (5-6) with Kidderminster void. I picked my selections by taking short-priced favourites to win their game and looked at nothing else and it was a tactic that worked to a treat.

There were loads of games on this coupon from all over the planet so take a look and try doing it the same way. Annoyingly the next two on my list also came up – at Ermis and Atletico Huila.

However, there were two shocks in the actual matches with Apollon losing at home to Ethnikos and Braga being held by Aves before winning in extra time.

I've put up a separate post on Rangers v Dunfermilne and as it's deadline Friday for my Daily Record column I've not got much time to look at Friday's matches.

My plan was for site users to vote for Friday's Super Single but I've decided to go with Rangers v Dunfermline both to score which is my pick in today's Daily Record. Reasoning is on the preview.

There should also be goals at Borussia M'gladbach v Leverkusen with the last six playings of this fixture bringing up the market including a 3-3 draw last time out.

Toulouse v St Etienne in Ligue 1 could also have goals and I also like the look of Vitesse v Den Haag in Holland.

There also loads of lower-league games across the continent so put up your thoughts here – and I'll ad a Top Treble later if have time.

    REPOST:

My original pick for tomorrow was what i flagged earlier this week for Al Kuwait to score 3 plus goals but the match has been postponed for some reason just hope it isnt a water logged pitch.
Im now going on the Borussia Monchengladbach v Bayer Leverkusen game and ill be on the home win in this one at a decent 13/8,Borussia are very good at home winning 8 from 10 losing only once and that was home to Bayern, whilst Leverkusen have been very hit and miss away this season winning 5 and losing 4,Borussia have scored 25 home goals conceding 9 whilst Leverkusen have scored 11 conceding 9 away.Last 5 homes shows 4 wins and just the 1 defeat and that against against Bayern whilst leverkusen have lost 3 of thier last 5 away games.
I fully expect Btts to score in this one as has happened in last 10 meetings and i expect over 2.5 goals in the game, last 2 meetings in 2013 produced final score lines of a 4-2 loss away and a 3-3 draw.
Bets for this game i expect to come in
    HOME WIN 13/8
    BTTS 8/13
    OVER 2.5 GOALS 8/11
BORUSSIA TO WIN AND BTTS 4/1
TAKE YOUR PICK AND ENJOY ;)

Take Borussia home win for your super single Mr F.

Sean, pretty sure it won’t be Borussia. Maybe you can convince us with reasoning like maxclover did.

    Posted on yesterdays thread…

Don’t like betting on Ligue 1, but had a little bit of success in Ligue 2 over the past couple of weeks, so my tip for tomorrow is…

Auxerre vs FC Istres (Ligue 2, 19:00)

    Over 2.5 Goals – 6/5 at Bet365

The main stat which supports this is the fact that all 4 of Istres’ games since the winter break have gone over 2.5 goals with 5,4,4 and 5 goals. Add this to the fact 5 of their last 6 away games have gone over and 3 of Auxerre’s past 5 league home games have gone over and I think 6/5 represents pretty good value. I’m going to have small stakes on over 3.5 with FC Istres’ form but the main bet will be on the over 2.5 at above evens. Good luck to anyone that has a go on this!

lol that’s a sound bit of reasoning they are going to shit all over them suppose its more reasoning than I put up although don’t really see the need for it hardly going to put up tips that I think will lose they all have reasoning behind them just cant be arsed typing them out

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Danny, it helps sometimes but we know your tips are sound even though half the teams are made up! Right, I’m off.

Paul that is an outrageous slur only a quarter of the teams are made up not half of them that made me chuckle sometimes its the obscure that are the best bets

  10. Mark1976 10 years ago

Excellent tipping yesterday Paul with the daily double, especially as it was a skinny card. Two from now on the DD.
Have just been scrolling through tomorrow’s card and unless I am missing something I have found a cracking price for a SS bet. It is the German bundesliga 2 Cottbus v Sandhausen.
This sees the bottom of the league home side Cottbus who have only managed 3 wins from 19 games and losing 12 of those and are currently 11 games without a point. Sandhausen are ninth in the league but are joint second in having the best defence record only conceding 17 goals from 19 games but also worth noting is that there not multi scoring in their victories. Away form is not their strength but more of a mixed bag of wins, losses and draws. Taking the facts into account we could take a gamble on the away win at a tasty 7/2 and hope for a nice profit or maybe a middle of the road draw no bet at an also respectable 12/5 or go for the safe and in my opinion the more likely two of the three options and take the double chance at 21/20. I will leave it up to you to decide, just wanted to bring it to everyone’s attention. I will be taking the double chance on the away team and will opt for the away win in a low stakes treble or four fold. Good luck if you choose to follow.

On the £10-£1000 challenge Bet 1 was Ajax to win at 2/9 which gladly came in to return, wait for it, a staggering £12.22. I will post my bet 2 selection later today with the winning of course been lumped on at this stage.:-)

After 3 defeats in row against VVV-Venlo (SCORE 1-0), Willem II (SCORE 2-1) and Volendam (SCORE 2-1); Sparta Rotterdam managed to get a win in last fixture against the Jong PSV. In all 3 loses we saw good performance from Sparta Rotterdam. But we should not forget that those 3 teams are at the moment; 2nd, 3rd and 6th placed in the league table. Only this are enough to show the difficulty of those matches.

Midfielder De Nooijer is still injured and he’s the only absence in Sparta Rotterdam squad. Defender Nys is back from his suspension. MVV Maastricht have no injuries or suspensions.

Sparta Rotterdam couldn’t win one of the last 3 home matches. But they are playing well. They also made a few transfers. Investing in some experienced new players seemed to have paid off a little. They managed to beat Jong PSV (SCORE 2-1) in last fixture. Its time for Sparta Rotterdam to win at home again. Because they will host a team from the bottom half of the table. MVV Maastricht managed to get a win in last fixture against Dordrecht (SCORE 2-0) but they are very weak on the road. MVV Maastricht couldn’t win one of the last 6 away matches.

MVV Maastricht visited Sparta Rotterdam eleven times and won once. Sparta Rotterdam won five times and the teams drew five times. Today we will see a very aggressive Sparta Rotterdam side. They will be really fighting for a home victory. Sparta Rotterdam should win here against MVV Maastricht.

Score Prediction: SPARTA ROTTERDAM 3-1 MVV MAASTRiCHT

  15. Mark1976 10 years ago

After spending the last hour and half trying to de cypher German it appears that the generous pricing in my tipped game between Cottbus and Sandhausen could be due to the fact that the away side is missing a quintet of players and so are relying heavily on Nuremberg winger Markus Mendler. So low stakes or no stakes advised chaps.

Thoughts on western sydney wanderers tonight against Brisbane in the aussie a league. Under Mike Mulvey roar are playing some great football. WSW are seven points behind, at home with a huge partisan crowd. Should be a cracker.possibly low scoring. It’s a hard one to call. More than likely a draw but fancy 1-0 wsw or 2-1. Pays 7-1 and 8-1. 0-0 pays 8.50 but sticking my neck out I’ll be on 1-0 and wsw -1 draw at 3/1

    Mr F,
Saturday’s tips are here! Two ACCA’s……..

    ACCA 1
READING to beat Sheff Wednesday (BTTS and Win)
BRENTFORD to beat Crawley (BTTS and Win)
    Man City (-1)
    Middlesbrough (Win only)
    ***Pays 50/1***

Reading will definitely be seeking revenge for that 5-2 hammering earlier this season and I’ll already be looking into a price for Le Fondre to bag a hat-trick. Despite losing Conor Wickham, Sheff Wednesday have Benik Afobe on loan from Arsenal and his goal ratio looks quite reasonable and I expect them to score at least once.

John Gregory said Crawley will be up for this game but Brentford are like a steam train at the minute despite the 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury and I expect a 2-1 or 3-1 from them as they are susceptible to conceding. Bristol City managed to score away nearly two weeks ago against the Bees.

Middlesbrough have added the old Swansea contingent (Dobbie and Graham) to their squad in addition to Lee Tomlin and I expect a narrow 1-0 / 2-0 against Blackburn who have lost Scott Danns.

Man City result speaks for itself. I think they will tonk Norwich 4-1 or 4-2. I expect goals in this game and its Hooper and Ricky van Wolfswinke up front this Sat. Let’s see if RVG can get his 2nd goal of the season?!

    ACCA 2
CARLISLE to beat Gillingham (BTTS and Win)
WALSALL to beat MK DONS (BTTS and Win)
MAN CITY to beat Norwich (BTTS and Win)
    Port Vale (Win Only)
    Leicester (Win Only)
    ***Pays 220/1***

ACCA 2 is mostly based on stats and is a bit optimistic but Carlisle are in fine form at home (12 out of a possible 18 at home) whilst Walsall should defeat a MK Dons team who have collected 1 point out of a possible 12. Walsall are undefeated in seven games. Port Vale have Dickinson back and should beat a Swindon team that played midweek and feel free to correct me but this team looked nearly full strength. I think Leicester versus Watford will be close but can see Leicester nicking a one-nil victory.

I’ve left out Forest as they’re struggling for midfielders! Ordinarily they would steam roll a poor Blackpool team but the Tangerines have to win at some point.

I considered Birmingham but I think they’ll draw with Charlton but at 11/2 for BTTS and Win, they are good value.

I did fancy Doncaster at Brighton but they are without Richie Wellens and he is their source of creativity apparently. They are also waiting on Paul KEEGAN who is quite influential according to their website. Brighton have sold two key players recently (BARNES & someone else I can’t remember) and their results recently haven’t been too great. Two defeats and a draw in their last three league games.

As for the lower leagues, half of the games will be called off and the state of the pitches will be horrendous for the ones that do get the go ahead. Again I may be proved wrong.

I think Villa and West Ham has got draw written all over it but I don’t like to put draws in the ACCA.

Reading the Preston V Forest FA Cup report, the league one team were quite impressive and dominated possession. Billy Davies even said “the best team lost”. They should beat a Tranmere team away from home. Also consider Wolves and Coventry against Stevenage and Notts County respectively.

    • Damo 10 years ago

Telmo, I watched Den Haags game at home to Heracles on Tuesday and they were shocking, some of the crossing and shooting was laughable and defensively they were a mess. They looked like a team who should be sitting at the bottom of the table anyway. I wouldn’t expect Vitesse to have the same problems they had against AZ who are a much better team.

    QATAR PREMIER LEAGUE
    Al Rayyan v Umm-Salal
Umm Salal are on a 7 game winning run thanks to goals from their two Brazilian strikers. Al Rayyan are second bottom and haven’t won in the last 5 games, although 3 of those were draws. 5/6 for the Umm-Salal win looks good and is probably due to a poor H2H record against Al Rayyan. Based on form it looks a good bet.

Not put football tips on for a long time but here we go with a small treble –

    EMMEN v DORDRECHT
Looking at Emmens home record, 9 goals conceded in 13 games, youd suspect not many away goals but Dordrecht are goal machines! they’ve scored the most goals this season with a total of 54 and counting! Also the last time these 2 met the game ended 4-2. Emmen also know where the goal is with 44 goals in 25 matches, Im going for BTTS here

    BTTS YES 4/9

    RB Dour Borinage v WESTERLO
Westerlo are top of table by a point, so they need a win to keep ahead of Eupen! They’ve won 4 out of there last 5 so are in form at the moment. Borinage on the other hand only 1 win in 5. Borinage have also lost as many as they have won at home so it is far from a fortress so Westerlo will not be scared to go and win! and if that isn’t enough to persuade you Westerlo are currently 3/3 against Borinage, Away win for me!

    Westerlo Win 4/5

    Rangers v Dunfermline

Rangers as you are all away of know where the goal is while also doing well hiding theirs, but today is a cup game and Dunfermline (2nd to Rangers in the league) also like to score a few goals averaging 2.17 goals a game!
Both teams to score is looking very likely today!

    BTTS YES 5/6

    Treble pays 3.76/1

Morning gents, it’s Friday French action again, been betting on this league for a few seasons now and often feel many of the games are over priced for over 2.5 goals!

Have done a bit if research:

From 440 matches this season 46% have been over 2.5 goals and 72% have seen over 1.5 goals! For me there is probably value to be had in backing over 1.5 goals as especially as there are 8 or 9 clubs who have seen over 1.5 in 80 % of their matches! Our good Friend Raal used to back over 1.5 goals and I’m going to have a look and pick out 5-6 French games that should see at least 2!

Off the back of that there is one match in interested in!

    Bastia v Chateauroux

Another one of these matches were the visiting team are fantastic at home but absolutely murder away! Bastia are currently bottom of the league but their performances have improved over the last 4 weeks with them winning away at Nancy and progressing in the cup! They’ve scored 2 goals in each if their last two home matches and although it’s hardly something to shout about they are playing a a team who have claimed 20 of their 22 points a at home! ( away played 9 lost 7 drawn 2)

They’ve lost 2 it more goals in their last 7 away matches although the have managed to score 2 in each of their last 3! Bastia are steadily improving and although the visitors have found goals easy to come by in recent weeks, they can’t defend, especially away

Back Bastia over 1.5 team goals 13/8
    Over 2.5 match goals 6/5

I dont know if anyone follows rugby league on here, I am from Wigan and followed the rugby since i was 5 and today is the start of the new season. Wigan are -8 on the handicap and thats far too much and heres the reasons why.

    1) Sam Tomkins- by far the best player in the league has gone he created so much and as good as Matty Bowen (his replacement) is you cant replace world class players easily.

    2) Wigan lost virtually every game that Tomkins missed last year

    3) Sam isnt the only player to go, Pat Richards (wigans goalkicker) has departed along with 6 forwards and I dont believe the players replacing them are at the same standard as whats gone

    4) Wigan travel to Australia next week to play the world club challenge so could have distractions.

    5) Josh Charnley (wigans leading try scorer and winger last season) is out injured

I believe an 8 point start is far too much and is based more on Wigans season last year

    Recommended bet Huddersfield +8 EVS

After the talk about the paddy power bonus coupon I’ve done 14 teams with bet365 as I’ve deposited in betvictor, bet365 & skybet for the wknd last night. only a 50p linr but only really 2 dodgy ones in there but 14 teams is a big ask even if they are all 1/10. The good thing about this is Bet365 price up a few games ahead so not stuck for choice on just the next games
    Saturday
    Chelsea v Newcastle
    Villa v West Ham
    Sunderland v Hull
    City away to Norwich

There must be a curse on me this week, 0/10 from the tips I put up and the first week I decide to follow Johnb’s NAP’s, none of them come in :) Never mind! I’ve got another set of tips for today and HOPEFULLY today will be the day. I take on board the comments from people and as was rightly pointed out, I put all my eggs in one basket and then dropped the bloody thing on the concrete! Anyway, today’s the day! (maybe)…

    LE HAVRE V NIMES 7:00pm (Ligue 2)

Keeping it simple here. 4 of Le Havre’s last 5 home matches have gone over 2.5 goals and 6 of their last 9 league matches in total have. 6 of Nimes 9 away matches this season have gone over 2.5 goals and 3 of their last 4 away have. The H2H record isn’t great, but I’ll take form over H2H here and I’m going to go for over 2.5 match goals at 5/4.

    METZ V CAEN 7:00pm (Ligue 2)

Staying in the French second division, we have top of the table Metz up against a Caen side that love a good high scoring game. Whilst Metz haven’t exactly been free scoring this season, only scoring 2 or more goals in 4 of their 10 home matches, but they come up against a Caen side who have conceded 2 or more goals in 7 of their 10 away games. Metz must win to stay top and it’s extremely close in this league and Caen are likely to remain open at the back. I’m going for Metz to hit 2 or more goals here and it pays 13/8.

EMMEN V DORDRECHT 7:00pm (Dutch Jupiler League)

Emmen have scored 10 goals in their last 3 games and have hit 4 in each of their last 2. They’re back to the form which saw them unbeaten in their first 7 home matches, scoring 2 or more on 4 of those occasions. Dordrecht may be top of the table, they’ve conceded 2 or more goals in 6 of their last 10 away matches including 3 of their last 4. Emmen managed to score twice in the reverse fixture and I’m backing on them to manage it here too. It pays EVENS.

    TIPS:
Le Havre v Nimes over 2.5 match goals – 5/4
    Metz over 1.5 team goals – 13/8
Emmen over 1.5 team goals – EVENS

Let’s hope Friday can provide a little relief from a rough week! Best of luck.

    • Sean Ireland 10 years ago

Alex you say youve been having no luck following johnb’s naps, well today its his NB Iffranesia that interests me most, this horse is great on the all weather as its record on this surface shows 1/1/2/2 both seconds were very unlucky by all accounts and today this horse has a very good draw from stall 3.Shouldve been the Nap in my humble opinion

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Sean, his first tip won at 7/1 he advised it at 9/1 so the next two are bonuses. Johnb is a tipster in a different class to any I have ever seen before.

    • Sean 10 years ago

Think you maybe caught me wrong Alex,in no way was i questioning his picks just stating what at the time seemed to be his best chance in case you were just going with his Naps, agree totally his knowledge is without question where as myself and most others would just go with the most confident picks, typical of me over looking the bigger price today just when he pulls the rabbit from the hat,ahh well you live n learn.

    • Neil H 10 years ago

Got a good feeling your going to turn this week around today Alex. Been unlucky this week but since ive been following you I am still well up even with this week not working out as hoped.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Alex, If backing Johns selections place only as well you will be well in profit this week. We also have blayyers who has given 10 winning NAPs from the last 13!!

  59. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Thought I would put up a list of stuff I fancy over the weekend in Italy and narrow it down a bit on the day with my usual thesis for each game… but all the picks are what i predict. Leave scorers closer to time and team news.
    I
    Btts and win
    FIORENTINA v Atalanta
    Verona JUVENTUS
    Lazio ROMA

    Singles for a win
    Fiorentina
    Udinese
    Torino
    Parma
    Sampdoria
    Napoli

Napoli v AC over 1.5 goals First Half

Treble Serie B – one safe, one almost, one risk.
    Palermo
    Carpi
    Siena

Lega Pro 1b one safe, one safe, one safe.
    Lecce
    Perugia
    Frosinone

  60. Craig Alves 10 years ago

£5 on city man utd sunderlan and bayern at 3/1 too plus a whole 10 % bonus :-)

  61. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Unfortunately this week im siding with what seem to be the favourites. Doesnt normally happen. So the odds are ok but not great

Draws are possible at Livorno and Inter and even Lazio(even though i have Roma to win, it depends on what team Roma play as they have played midweek then play sunday then play midweek)

Last six Lazio Roma games have ended in a red card and two of those six ended in 2 red cards. So its Roma turn this weekend to see Red.

  62. honda 10 years ago

Alex, I’m not sure I dare today! Anything that looks good, I may just do the opposite :)

  63. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Oor man, you didn’t happen to have any money on a 8th tier Italian match to have 8 own goals scored in the last 10 mins did you?? Just read it on twitter, tremendous :)

  64. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Greg, really? Ha.ha..nope. what was the game?

  65. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Actually Greg, that does remind me, never should i put SAFE when i put up Lega Pro 1b games.
That alone could find me having to explain myself to certain italian authorities considering perugia and lecce have had some hands slapped.

  66. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Got it. It was. Coppa Sicilia game..ahahaaa..not a surprise……good god, not a day goes by in Italy without some excitement….

  67. Kabiru ibrahim 10 years ago

After looking at today fixtures i fancy : Newport V Fleetwood Draw.
    Borrusia V Bayerleverkusen Draw.
    Metz Over 2.5. Dijon win
    Nimes win or draw.Goodluck.

  68. Kabiru ibrahim 10 years ago

Acmillan are not that strong at away.NAPOLI Win.
    Udinese likely draw

  69. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Can you imagine that here, last day of the season, teams scoring own goals to ensure a team they don’t like gets relegated, haha!

  70. Kabiru ibrahim 10 years ago

Mr F.I really love to read your comment and your SS selected you have done a great job here. It’s not easy to beat Bookies However, i totally agree with one of your treble: Borrusia V Bayer for Btts as over 2.5 is also consider as best option.keep it up with a good job

  71. Chris N 10 years ago

Picking Zwolle to win at Utrect was a great pick

  72. Chris N 10 years ago

I dont think Dunfermline will score tonight

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Chris N, bet no to both to score then.

  73. Kabiru ibrahim 10 years ago

Chris, you were right it’s a good pick but i think the red card Utrecht got changed the result

  74. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Haha, well i think there is something more to this Coppa Sicilia game. Its too obvious, too extreme. I guess the players have done this to get the italian FA involved to find something more important. Perhaps there have been some death threats from certain extreme ultras etc etc etc.

I think this is less of a match fix as its too obvious.

  75. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Finnish Cup action this afternoon gents:

    TPS v IFK KO 3pm

These two love a goal with The hosts seeing 6/5/5/6 in their last 4 matches with IFK seeing 7/4/5/6 match goals! From the last 12 ( 6 each )there’s been 65 goals scored! They concede just as many as they score! Definitely worth a couple of small stakes on 1.5 fhg 3.5 total goals!

    • Neil H 10 years ago

Like the look of this one Greg. Have gone on fairly big stake for over 2.5 at 1/2 and split the potential profits on the over 1.5 HT and 3.5 FTG so heres hoping.

  76. cooldude 10 years ago

Oor man, Im hear today to mention 2 points. Firstly, isn’t it quite remarkable how Miha has got the boys going at Sampdoria(I still despise them for ruining my 3k accum) when you consider his track record with former clubs Bologna, Fiorentina, Serbia and Catania.
And the second point ill have to get back to you on…

FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING THE PADDYPOWER 14 TEAM BONUS….

    Just tried to place this-

    CHELSEA v Newcastle
    Norwich v CITY
    CITY v Sunderland
    Fulham v LIVERPOOL
    BRENTFORD v Crawley
    MADRID v Villareal
    Almeria v ATHLETICO
    Sevilla v BARCELONA
    Verona v JUVENTUS
    Nurmberg v MUNCIH
    Schalke v MADRID
    JUVENTUS v Trabzonspor

    12 teams for 80% bonus.

BUT, You cant combine the same team more than once.

Hahahahahhahaha! Over to bet365 we go. Cant use the Brentford / Juve-Trabz matches there though.

  79. Sean 10 years ago

    SATURDAYS SAFE TREBLE..needs no explaining

    Leicester 4/6
    Brentford 4/7
    Burnley 8/13
    £10 stake returns £42.31

    Saturdays Value Treble

Sunderland 11/10..only lost once in last 13 all comps whilst Hull are leagues worst form team with no wins last 5 losing 4 and only scoring once, also leagues worst away team with just 1 win from 12 aways.

Reading 4/5..pushing for promotion with 4 wins from last 5 and starting to score for fun with 16 goals scored in those wins, face a wedseday team that are unbeaten in last 7 but have no wins in last 5 aways all draws and just 1 away win all season.Strongly fancy Readings goal scoring form to be too strong this time for Wednesdays eternal search for a draw.

Accrington stanley 2/1..this is a first for me to tip this team for a win but they have been in decent form of late with 5 wins from last 7 aways and winning last 2 has seen them move out of relegation into 17th.They are away to a Wycombe side who have been dire for a long time and now sit just 3 from bottom, they havent won in last 7 and have failed to score in 5 of those games and have only registered 1 win in last 16 lg 2 games.
    £10 stake returns £113.40

Had a look at the weekends fixtures earlier this week when on a night shift. This is my short list for the weekend, please be gentle as it’s my first time posting any tips with some kind of reasoning attached.

    Huddersfield/Wigan Over 2.5
3 out of Huddersfields last 6 games have seen over 2.5, Wigan 4 out of 6. In head to head meetings the last 2 games have both been over 2.5 goals.

    Burnley 2+ Team Goals
Burnley have scored 2 or more goals in 3 of their last 5 games. Milwall are currently in 21st place whereas Burnley are in 3rd. Burnley have put at least 2 past Milwall in their last 3 meetings.

    Reading 2+ Team Goals
Reading have scored 2 or more goals in 3 out of their last 5 matches. Their last 4 have seen them score 15 goals. The last meeting saw between the 2 saw 7 goals with Reading being beaten 5-2 away from home. With reading being at home I can see them scoring at least 2.

    Leicester 2+ Team Goals
Leicester have scored 2 or more in 3 of their last 5 games. Watford have conceded 2 in 2 of their last 3. In the last meeting Leciester scored 3 away from home at Watford.

    Colchester/Rotherham Over 2.5
4 of Colchesters last 5 games have seen over 2.5 goals, whereas the last 5 Rotherham game shave seen at least 3 goals. 5 of the last 7 meetings between the 2 have seen at least 3 goals.

    Brentford 2+ Team Goals
Brentford have scored in all of their last 5 games, with 3 of them seeing Brentford score at least 2. Crawley have conceded 2 goals in 4 of their last 5 games and 15 places in the league currently separate the two.

    AFC Wimbledon/Rochdale Over 2.5
3 of Wimbledon’s last 5 have seen 3 or more goals, whereas 4 of Rochdale’s last 5 have seen 3 or more. 2 of the last 3 head to heads have seen 3 goals.

I’m curious to know thoughts from the community on here.

Only pick I can find for tonight is rangers lets hope they go a goal behind.

    Good luck

  90. craigyboy 10 years ago

    Over 1.5 team goal special.
Had some serious good results with this last few weeks. Great odds for teams to get 2 goals or more.

    Reading over 1.5 team goals
    Brentford over 1.5 team goals
    Leicester over 1.5 team goals
    Man City -1 Asian handicap
(Odds for Man City to get over 1.5 aren’t great this offers better value and expect them to trounce Norwich)

You can get odds of about 7/1 on this!

  91. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Cooldude, point two being Sepp Splatter? Well he is a walking mummy so I cant see how he can do anything to help FIFA.

  92. cooldude 10 years ago

Is suppose so Oor man. But then there’s so much dirt under Blatters carpet, in a way he will probably stay on til he dies, for fear the dirt will escape and he will later be reprimanded by authorities for corruption of the highest order!!!
Or knowing Blatter, not wanting to come clean, he will probably claim diplomatic immunity and walk away scot free from all charges, so its a very much a lose lose situation.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Dudes, he is as bad as Havelange before him.

I think so, re SB….just like another SB, silvio berlusconi, use the power to protect. Its tricky though coming to another presidency.

Maha, yep quite a lad! His free kicks still amazing though. I think Ibra said a number of kind words for him as miha helped him with his technique.
Mancini Montella and Miha all like their thicky football scarfs in the coat during a match as managers too…must be an in house Samp tradition.

    £10-£1000 challenge

I haven’t been interested in too many games this week so i’ve been sticking to low stakes BTTS and Win bets. Same again today.

    Sparta Rotterdam Win and BTTS
    Eindhoven Win and BTTS
    Fortuna Sittard Win and BTTS
    Marseille v Toulouse 1-1 FS

    30p Yankee pays 147.19 :)

  97. Damo 10 years ago

Ok ive got 4 more 1/2 bets to get to 500 from a tenner. Started last night, whats the recommendation I like creteil game over 1.5 goals but any other shouts would be appreciated

  98. raaljaca 10 years ago

    All 3 to be placed pays 10/1;

    PADDY THE STOUT 2.30
    HARRYS FAREWELL 3.05
    TRIANGULAR 4.10

Advised as a 10/1 place treble and all 3 won at 439/1 for the delightful raaljaca, a true gent. :)

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, brilliant. You can really buy Hearts now.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Troy, I tipped the 3 to be placed at 10/1 but they all won at a 439/1 treble mate. I did them in doubles and trebles but didn’t expect all three to win but won’t complain :)

      great research, follow

  101. Mark1976 10 years ago

    &Damo

The Regionaliga West has Leverkusen 2 v Essen KO is at 1830. In 20 games Leverkusen 2 has only ever had one clean sheet. There is no market available before the game but would have a look in play, this is what I would have chosen had I not been posting my bets before hand. If it is 1/6 £122 returns £142 with plenty of games to follow. Good luck mate

  102. Craig Alves 10 years ago

RT7 falls 1 short but bit of a roller coaster bet there up 3-0 4-4 5-4 5-6 and all square at 6-6 after 80 odd mins but it stayed that way. Johnb has 2/2 tho and another winner for £65 from my 50p trixie :)

  103. J 10 years ago

Im on johnb’s nap so it probably won’t win. I seem to be a jinx when it comes to horses

  104. Troy 10 years ago

Double and Trebles – Now that is bookie bashing at its finest!! Well done…..

    • cooldude 10 years ago

judging by your knowledge of the game id say you’ve done it a few times!!

  105. Mr JL 10 years ago

    Mr F,

    B. M’gladbach v Leverkusen tonight. I agree with you there should be goals. Over 3.5 goals is 2/1 with BetVictor. What do you think about this as a super single or should I play safer with over 2.5 goals at 31/40?

  106. Cheapshot 10 years ago

Damo what you gone with for you’re next challenge bet?

  107. Davie 10 years ago

Not a tip but I suppose a heads up on what seems amazing value. Not sure it’s been mentioned but if it has apologies. CA Bastia v Chateauroux over 2.5 is 23/20 CA Bastia over 1.5 is 11/8 and Chateauroux over 1.5 is 9/4.

I have gone for over 2.5 and Chateauroux over 1.5 but like I said its a heads up just to have a look at the stats and see for yourself

  108. Wyorkie11 10 years ago

Red star in French 2 look an ok prospect tonight.

  109. Loota 10 years ago

    Super Single:
    De Graafschap (7pm) 21-20

de graafschap sit 7th in the league away to bottom team Fc Oss last time they met Oss lost 6-1.

    Top Treble:
    Rangers -1 (7.30)
    Red Star FC (7pm)
    De Graafschap (7pm)
    pays just over 4-1

other teams that i fancy are
    Westerlo.(7.30)
currently sit top of the belgium league on some good form, last time they met westerlo won 3-0.

Add Fortuna Sittard and Vitesse (both 7pm) for a six fold that pays 16-1 i believe is worth a small stake.

    good luck to all.

  110. Mark1976 10 years ago

Damo Essen have scored in every game except one. Leverkusen 2 no clean sheet 1/3 £122 returns £162

    *** RACING SUMMARY ***

    On a day that didn’t offer a huge choice of racing the results were rather good. With a few still to run NAP’s were landed by GEORGEH11 and BIGT. HOLLYWOOD weighed in with a couple of nice winners on the sand and RAALJACA tipped a 10/1 place treble that actually won at 439/1. The honours however lie with the man himself;

JOHNB GAVE 3 SELECTIONS THAT LANDED A 120/1 TREBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO MORE WRITE UP JUST LOOK AT THE FIGURES :) :) :)

  112. Richard 10 years ago

Raal I think everyone’s defected to the racing thread – maybe MrF will have to start doing Super NAP of the day instead!

  113. Froggy 10 years ago

WOW Raaljaca well done my son, Wish id done your two with the legends, that would have been a serious super yankee.

Again I would like to thank SIR JOHNB the legend, Im gobsmacked how he does it.
After only getting 1 tip up from monday I knew it was only time before we recovered our losses and plenty more before he got back to business as usual.
Thank you so much sir johnb

God bless you and your family, You are simply the best.

arsenal’s last 10 matches at anifield has scored 24 goals so i’d fancy away team to score 2+ goals
also on the derby of the teams from south wales swansea and cardif, i see cardif are improving withe ole though he has been facing tough games but with the adition in the squad yet swansea just lost their head coach recently i’d fancy a small stake on cardif to win or a DC cardif win or draw with increased stake
    good luck

Alright guys sorry not at a laptot, tried to post but looks like its not worked. I ended up going for cretiel over 1.5 goals at 1-0 for 4/9. 3 more bets maybe and im there determined to do it in less than a day!

I think I’m going to forget posting a good luck everyone message from now on :) On a serious note though, although I do feel a bit guilty not contributing to this site almost at all, I like to think I have a positive influence on it. Much appreciation goes out to those who put in the time to research ( I do some football research) and post on the site. I must say it has been a revelation for me, from advice and tips. I am still in the realm of experimentation, finding out what works for me, and stakes are tiny, barely worth mentioning, however I feel this is necessary as I partake in the learning curve, rather than lose decent money during this process. I have only just recently joined the racing thread, and I have to say I have seen nothing like it. This site has also got me watching much more football, following it even closer than I did before, and has introduced me to others I now like such as NFL. I feel I’m a bit of a regular now, and thank you to everyone who makes the site what it is, not going to bother mentioning names as its obvious but a special shout out does go to Mr F. Anyhow if you took the time to read this rather pointless post, I love you all :)

Raging with myself – wasted a load of time researching French 2nd div and forgot Dutch Jupiler league was on at the same time and it’s been goals galore in the first half!

  122. thechief 10 years ago

    Wigan V Huddersfield

On my phone so have to keep this brief. Wigan have lost captain Sean O’loughllin and may have one eye on the world club championship.

Huddersfield preseaon has been disrupted by the weather, so much so he didn’t want this game to be played. Now having seen the injuries that Wigan have picked up he can’t believe his luck. Huddersfield to score O3.5 tries is 6/4. Brent Ferries got 13 tries last season he is 3/1 to score odds are with Ladbrokes.

For Wigan young Wingers George Burgess scored 24 in 18 for under 19s, he will love to cross on his home debut and his 5/4 to do so. Big signing fullback Matty Bowen scored 130 tries in 270 NRL, he is 8/5 to score. Odds at Paddy Power.

Good luck if your having a bet

GOAL! OH MY WORD! I’VE WON A BET!

    Metz 2-1 Caen

    Metz over 1.5 team goals 13/8 – WIN! :D :D

Plus, there’s been goals in the other two matches, meaning I might actually end a day in profit ;)

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Alex, nice one. All I want is a Dunfermline goal but too busy to watch so don’t know what my chances are. Owen Scott could be spot on with the Rangers to score for or more stat.

  127. Greg Browning 10 years ago

    Bastia 1-2 Chateauraux 64 mins :)

  130. Nathan 10 years ago

Ligue 2 looks like there’s a nice bit of money to be made when it comes to goals, especially if you play it safe with the over 1.5 match goals market! Had a nice double @ evens on the Metz and Bastia games that came in easy, Deffo gonna have to keep my eye on this league in the future!

Not a stats man but would love to know if there’s much difference between goals conceded by rangers in live games vs non live games! Seems to me that when on telly lesser teams are toiling more a bit overawed!:(

  149. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Yep, asking you Honda if you fancy any team to win in Serie B tomorrow….palermo is the easy one…you fancy Trapani?

  150. honda 10 years ago

Ah wasn’t confident enough to back them oor man. On tomorrows card those that I like the look of early that aren’t short are Ternana and Siena, would love to know your thoughts on tomorrows serie B card

  151. Paul O 10 years ago

The only way Dunfermline are gonna score here is if one of the rangers players puts into his own net!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Paul O, looks like Rangers killed the tie. Shortage of goals all round tonight.

  152. Steve 10 years ago

  157. Sean 10 years ago

From now on I’m gonna look at stats, decide which team should win or how many or few goals should come in and back the opposite, that guy that said leverkusen would shit on them is an fffin genius.

  158. honda 10 years ago

Trapani looks good oor man its just the fact empoli has a good enough away record aswell. Its a close one to call but trapani’s form certainly cannot be ignored and the fact just 4 points seperates them I can see it being 1 point after tomorow. Certainly a legue where form is king.

  159. Paul O 10 years ago

Thanks for that Alex, a lot of people here really appreciate the time you spend researching these games and putting up your tips hope they’re good for you tomorrow m8

  160. Chris N 10 years ago

well i guess i was right Dunfermline were never going to score

  161. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Siena looks good Honda, especially for odds, -7 points this season deducted so their position is better than it looks. One of the highest scorers to..couls nick a win a great odds. I guess team news is worth a look.

  162. honda 10 years ago

Aye oor man. Deffinately sticking with siena and ternana. I darent do trapani been a tough week football wise

  163. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Yep probably agree Honda on Trap. A draw would suit both..and Trapani just arrived in Serie B this year they are playing very good……Carpi form is great also….but I can see a few possible draws tomorrow…maybe do a small change treble of draws for B.

    • honda 10 years ago

Not in a position to cover bets tomorrow though oor man, a must for Serie B enthusiasts!

Mr F, I did ask you a while back to do a daily double but think you were to busy. You have done a few recently and think it will be a good idea to carry them on, I think with your football knowledge you could have a good run with them :)

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Sam, I’ll do them when possible. Friday, as I always say, is not good for me because of all the Record work I have to do.

  166. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Rangers over 1.5 First half goals 10/11 WIN
Espanyol v Granada under 2.5 goals 4/5 WN
Bastia v Chateauraux over 2.5 goals 6/5 WIN
Bastia over 1.5 team goals 13/8 Lose

Been a decent night with 3 of 4 of my main bets coming in, shame about Istres missing the late penalty to let down my French 1.5 treble! Will be doing the same again next week! Overall it’s been pretty good week, not looked at tomorrow’s card but will be at the station park for the saints Forfar match so will put something up later tonight if a see anything I like!

    Loyola v Socceroo KO 10.15pm

Now into round 6 of fixtures and the league is starting to shape nicely! From tue / Thu fixtures we saw matches end 7-1 3-1 3-1 4-1 with the Global match proving to be particular profitable bringing in all three singles!

Tomorrows match see’s league leaders Loyola host new boys Socceroo and already there is an 11 point gap between these two! Loyola are the leagues highest scorers with 19 goals, Socceroo have the worst defensive record having conceded 21 already! This is a real mismatch in terms of quality! Loyola are in terrific form and Socceroo have struggled to adapt to life in the top league! This had goals written all over it and convincing home win! The visitors have already been hammered 7-1 twice this season with one of them against an average PSG team on Tuesday, they are playing the leagues best team, this could be a cricket score! Obviously we don’t need it to be, 5-0 would do! Not sure what markets will start at for his but it will likely be 1.5 fhg 4/6 and over 4.5 8/11!

The second game also looks good for goals between Phillipine Army v Stallions!

  172. Yesevil 10 years ago

Are they your final tips for tomorrow Alex, or merely a rough draft until you finalise?

    • Alex 10 years ago

Yesevil – I’ll put my confirmed tips up probably tomorrow morning, maybe tonight. I’m just finalising a tweak to how I select my tips. The ones I’ve put up could well feature though, although some are too short really. The Carlisle one is 100% on my list though.

  173. tur 10 years ago

Sorry guys for a stupid question but here goes.if you did a bet for under 2.5 goals and the match finished 0-0 would you get paid on the under 2.5 goals?

  174. Zam 10 years ago

    Yes of course tur

  175. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Tur, with the match finishing 0-0, would you agree that under 2.5 goals have been scored?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Greg, it’s probably the most stupid question we’ve had.

  176. tur 10 years ago

    Thanks zam.

  177. Yesevil 10 years ago

Cheers Alex. I’ll wait for your final tips, and may put some doubles and trebles together from your list above.

J st want to take the opportunity to thank you for your hard work and research. I wasn’t doing very well at this betting lark before I found this site and started following yours, Greg’s, Johnb’s and Mr F’s tips.

  178. Greg Browning 10 years ago

It’s often been said there is no such thing as a stupid question Mr F but i disagree, haha!

If you need to ask that question I have to ask if you should be allowed to place a bet!

  179. tur 10 years ago

Sorry mr f for my stupid question :-/ im haveing an issue with paddy p.

    Some late night thoughts

    Argentinan Primera B Nacional

    Atletico Tucuman vs Gimnasia Jujuy

Atletico sit 5th and have won 4 of last 6 at home whereas Gimnasia have lost six on the bounce away and sit 16th

    Atletico to win @ 1.66

    Liga Ascenso MX

Universidad Guadalajara vs Ballenas Galeana 2:30am

Fairly straight forward this one – Univ have won their last 6 home games without conceding a goal. Ballenas have lost 5 of their last 6 away and have failed to scored in 4 of these 6 – they’re also bottom of the league at present.

    Univ to win @ 1.50

    Liga MX

    Tijuana vs Monterrey 3:30am

Tijuana sit 8th and are unbeaten in last 12 at home, wining 4 and drawing 2 of the last 6. Of the 2 home games this season, one win was the only defeat so far inflicted on 2nd placed America.

Monterrey sit 11th with an away record this season of one draw and one defeat from their 2 games. They’ve lost 3 of last 5 away.

H-2-H is patchy but I’m on Tijuana

    Tijuana to win @ 2.00

    Treble pays 4.99

If you want to push the odds up next up would be

    Argentine Primera B Nacional

    Sarmiento vs Talleres Cordoba midnight

Bit of a recent form bet this one but Sarmiento are unbeaten in last 3 at home and have won twice. I was slightly put off by the fact that the two wins were against 14th and 22nd (last). However, Talleres are poor away and have lost their last 3 including defeats by the very same teams in 14th and 22nd.

    Sarmiento are 2.20 for win

  181. Mark1976 10 years ago

    £10-£1000 challenge

    Bet 3

    PSV clean sheet NO 1/4
