LEWIS HAMILTON is being heavily backed by Ladbrokes' punters to win this year's BBC Sports Personality of the Year award on Sunday night.
Rory McIlroy remains the odds-on favourite with the firm at 4-9 following his triumphant summer, winning both The Open and PGA Championship, however a late gamble is developing on Hamilton who is now just a 13-8 shot.
One punter who was so confident in the Irishman's chances he placed a wager of £10,000 on him at odds of 6-4 and as the momentum grew McIlroy was as short as 1-8 in October.
And with the front two in the market sewn up, the bookies are now betting on the athlete to finish in third place. Jo Pavey is fancied for a podium finish at 13-8, followed closely by Gareth Bale at 7-4.
Ladbrokes' latest odds are included below.
Elsewhere it's a busy night of NFL action with with 14 matches including a battle for NFC East supremacy as Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys.
And there's other sporting highlighs such as Lisbon Open snooker as well as final-round golf from the Alfred Dunhill Championship and Thailand Championship plus international ODI cricket.
Post your tips and chat here and good luck if you're having a bet.

Scott or Mr F I’ve posted my tips but it’s showing no comments on the thread and states duplicate comment when I try to re-post.
Jordan, neither myself or Scott are ever going to answer you at 2.35am.
I didn’t say you were Mr F but the message would have been there to be seen when you or Scott came on early morning. Scott is sometimes on at that time too just to clarify.

50% stake Props
Joique Bell (Lions) over 60.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet (Lowest at 68.5 @ 20/27 @ Bet 3 6 5)
The Vikings travel to Detroit to face one of the best defense in the league. Bell rushed for 74 yards over 18 carries when Detroit traveled to Minnesota mid October. Detroit aren’t the best team at the run in the league but Bell has played a key role in the past couple of weeks, rushing for 174 yards in his last two games with 3 rushing TD’s. I think this is good value as the Viks are good against the pass but have given up 259 rushing yards in the past two weeks, with 497 rushing yards over their last 4 games.
Marshawn Lynch (Seahawks) over 80.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet. (Lowest at 74.5 @ 10/13 @ Bet 3 6 5)
Lynch rushed for 104 yards against the Niners in the Seahawks win Santa Clara on Thanksgiving. Lynch has rushed over this total in 4 of his last 5 games. Latavius Murray (Oakland Raiders RB) totaled 76 yards in the Niners shock defeat in Oakland last week, with Alfred Morris of the Redskins rushing for over 100 yards. Lynch is ranked the 5th best RB so far this season. Niners will not get anything from this game. Kaepernick choked in his own stadium and the Niners haven’t looked good for weeks. Losing to Oakland, only beating the Redskins by 4 points, and the Giants by 6 points, they’re really going to have to step up against the Legion of Boom who are really starting to show why they have that name after looking average throughout the season.
LeSean McCoy (Eagles) over 82.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet. (Still available)
McCoy rushed for 159 yards in the win in Dallas on Thanksgiving. Can’t see Chip Kelly changing his tactics in what was a big divisional win for the Eagles. Dallas are unbeaten on the road, that may end but I’ll take my chances on McCoy who is the 4th overall RB in the league. He was held to only 50 yards against Seattle but they are the best rush defence in the league. If you take that game out he has rushed 377 yards in 3 games. Should have another good game against the Cowboys who give up 113.1 yards to RB’s per game.
Justin Forsett (Ravens) over 80.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet (Lowest at 83.5 @ Skybet)
The 3rd overall RB in the league will look to make a big impact on Sunday against the team who released him after a stress fracture saw him out for the season. He was released in March and picked up by the Ravens for a one year deal, and that’s where we are now. Rushing for 471 yards over 4 games averaging 117.7 yards per game, he will be coming up against a Jaguars D who are 28th against the rush (132.5 rysh yards per game) they’ve let slip 254 rushing yards in two games with Houstons Arian Foster and the NY Giants Rashad Jennings both going over this total.
LeGarrette Blount (Patriots) over 62.5 rushing yards @ 5/6 @ 3 6 5. (Still available)
Since joining the Pats, Blount has established himself as a the key runner in offense, having 20 carries for 66 yards in San Diego last week, he should have an easy time against a Miami back that has let 329 rush yards through in two weeks. The second worst in the league. Miami’s secondary is pieces with both safety’ and a starting cornerback out so I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats cover the spread in the frosty New England weather.

Post 1.
Apologies for using 3 threads for these tips but early write ups meant early totals.
NFL Sunday
Main Prop
Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers) over 270.5 passing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet (Lowest now 305.5 @ Skybet)
I was waiting for this to come up and was expecting over 300. He needs 274 passing yards to break his own team record in a season. Big Ben has the second most passing yards in the NFL and averages 312 yards per game. Atlanta rank last against the pass and receiving yards per game, where as the Steelers rank second in both pass and receiving offense. I tipped as my 100% stake prop bet for Aaron Rodgers to throw over his total on MNF which he did. Rodgers who is on course for the MVP is only ranked 7th in passing yards per game. This game will be played in Atlanta’ Georgia Dome so no wind involved. Pass galore for both sides with Bell getting screens who can have another big game, with Atlanta also ranked 5th in passing and receiving offense, Matt Ryan teaming up with Julio Jones for a massive 259 yards on Monday night at the Lambeau. Jones listed as questionable with a hip injury but we’re only looking at Big Ben.
NB Props
Le’Veon Bell (Steelers) over 85.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet (Lowest now at 91.5 @ Skybet)
No explanation needed. 711 yards over 3 games averaging 237 yards per game total with no less than 5 TD’s. Produced for me two weeks in a row and I’ll be backing him with full confidence once again after seeing Eddie Lacy come close to getting his total Monday night. He is the only RB in the league with over 1,000 yards who is yet to fumble the football via rushing or receiving.
This is pathetic. Luck and Hilton yards also on other threads but won’t let me even write it, but Luck best priced @ PP and Hilton @ Skybet.
What a mess. Fuming.
13 bets in total.
NAP
Roethlisberger passing yards but may want to consider new total as Skybet gave us an early gift.

NFL Sunday TV game Denver @ San Diego
Prop Bet
MANNING O270.5yds 10/11 Ladbrokes
Buffalo led the NFL in sacks so of course you are not going to leave your star QB in the pocket to take hits, that’s why Manning went U200yds last week. I would have still expected him to throw a touchdown but in the red zone he was happy to hand it off to the RB Anderson who scored 3 times. Manning went under this total against Kansas but we saw Kansas defence take Tom Brady out in primetime a few weeks back.
The Thomas boys could both be fully fit tonight, Julius as missed the last 3 games, while Demaryius has been playing hurt. San Diego had nothing going against the Patriots last week in the second half. Manning is the best QB in the league and this total could be around 20yds+ short even more so if Rivers comes out throwing.
If Denver wins then they win the division, you put the ball in Manning’s hand and let him do what he does best.
If Julius Thomas goes I will be on him anytime, and will be checking latest injury reports in the morning before posting my other tips.
Good luck if your having a bet
Snooker Treble:
Perry, Trump, & Bingham
Pays $2.25 odds.
Having a £20 trixie on the Colts, Patriots and Ravens to score in all quarters @ WillHill. £20 returns £201. Treble pays 18/1 but I’ll take the trixie as two results returns £34 or £37.
Colts are at home which means I’m on my favourite bets…
Colts score all 4 qtrs @ 13/8
Colts win all 4 qtrs @ 12/1
Already on Manning yards as I realised what thechief has already mentioned, so it’s helpful that he tipped it :) Might go for a couple of other bets once I’ve had a look later but Liverpool is on first!

FORSETT O83.5yds 5/6 Paddy Power
I said a few weeks ago Hilton at home under 90yds is always appealing. Hilton and Luck have owned this Houston secondary recent years. Hilton went for O220yds and a TD against them earlier this season, he as scored 6 in 5 also against the Texans.
The Ravens are the 5th best run attack in the NFL and the host the helpless Jags, we saw Miami Miller run all over them earlier this season at Wembley and things haven’t gotten any better since then. Justin Forsett is an ex Jag so will be licking his lips at running all over his former side. He could go closer to 100yds so the line looks low.
Cincinnati @ Cleveland 6pm
The tv game sees the battle of Ohio part two. Browns won the reverse fixture 24-3 as Dalton had a shocker, surely he wont get any worse then he did that day. It is hard picking a winner, so I lean on someone I tipped before and he scored in the earlier fixture, RB Isiah Crowell he is 21/20 Bet365.
Good luck if your having a bet
Somehow knew the Colts bets were coming from you Finchy :D good luck mate.
Won’t get Hilton under 88 anywhere now chief but like you I was on early! I’m adamant Manziel get score a TD haha
Did you see that Mariota won the Heisman? BE interesting to see who goes for a QB first. Eager to see Melvin Gordon. Looks the same type of back as Murray and Bell. Obviously always a chance of a flop but he’s touted as a first round pick which is apparently rare for running backs?
Already a good day with United winning 3-0 over Liverpool, made even better as I backed united -1 and 3-0 so all is left to do is top it off with some sunday night football! So here are my thoughts…
SUNDAY’S SUPER SINGLE – BRONCOS @ CHARGERS – OVER 3.5 SACKS @ 10/13
Chargers QB, Philip Rivers, has been sacked at least twice in 7 straight games, totalling 18 sacks and the Broncos have 14 sacks in their last 4 games. With Peyton Manning perhaps looking to pass more in this game, the opportunity is there for the Chargers defense to get at him too. If B365 were offering over 4.5 I would take it too!

MARSHAWN LYNCH RUSHING YARDS – OVER
Treble pays just less than 5/1
Good luck all!
I wasn’t aware you can double Prop bets Jell. Is this only at 3 6 5?
Bloody hell just you can at PP and Bet Victor too? Good to know. Shame Skybet don’t give you that option.
Jordan, I only use B365 so no idea about other sites, sorry.
Here are my bets for tonight:
Colts to score all 4 qtrs @ 13/8
Colts to win all 4 qtrs @ 12/1
Larry Donnell Anytime TD Scorer @ 11/10
Forsett Over 90.5 rushing yards @ 20/21
Blount Over 62.5 rushing yards @ 5/7
Coby Fleener Over 45.5 receiving yards @ 10/13
Roethlisberger Over 320.5 passing yards @ 20/21
Steelers, Browns, Panthers ML @ 15/4
Overs:
Raiders v Chiefs (42.0)
Jaguars v Ravens (44.5)
~5/1
ADD
Buccaneers v Panthers (41.0)
Bengals v Browns (43.5)
~12/1
Spreads 4fold:
Steelers -3, Giants -6.5, Oakland +10.5, Jaguars +14.0
12/1
ML ACCA:
Steelers, Giants, Patriots, Colts, Packers, Ravens, Panthers
8/1
Anytime TD ACCA:
Forsett, Gronk, Hilton, Megatron
15/2
It’s a lot of bets with my favourites being the 2 colts bets (gave reasoning before about Colts scoring in all 4 qtrs at home). Larry Donnell scored 3 or 4 tds (no time to check) when they played Redskins earlier this season. No Julio Jones for Falcons so Steelers should be fine with many passing yards. Ravens got an amazing running game against a bad run defence. Coby Fleener should cover 46 yards easily after seeing more action in recent weeks.
I know I have gone a bit crazy today but I’m feeling lucky!
Good luck.
Bit late today too busy celebrating the mighty red wine

GO PACKERS!
Luck throws an INT and ruins the afternoon already! Big Ben almost half his yards in the 1st quarter :D
Are you kidding me! They score on the play after 1st qtr ends. First time all season they haven’t scored in all 4 qtrs at home and it’s by one friggin play. Jesus
Oh no Johnny hahaha
after my 5 naps in a row nba ended with2 shockers friday night , felt the need to keep saturdays to myself , gladly the rockets -7.5 came in against the nuggets , i`ll take 6 from 8 all day long.
going to have a go at thunder -6.5 they seem to have kicked into gear , gl if you follow
also having a crack at gsw warriors who are on a 15 game winning streak and are blowing sides away early doors , so gonna have -3.5 by halftime when it comes in play..
Blount is only on 10 yards after 5 attempts.
This is why I hate prop bets on NFL. You really don’t know how the team is going to play the game. Blount is useless. Needs 50 attacks to get any decent yards!
Oh Johnny. Even I don’t throw there!
Singh. It’s halftime. All it takes is a few tackles to be broken.
Main bet looking good with 61 yards needed for Big Ben. Luck Halfway, Hilton halfway, Bell just needs to get a few decent runs which should be the case as the clock runs down.
Blount won’t get more than 30 yards. I’ve got him in a treble with Ben and Hilton. This is so annoying.
Blount won’t get more than 30 yards. I’ve got him in a treble with Ben and Hilton. This is so annoying.
Jordan, mate of mine got T Y 88.5yds at Paddys before the spurs game, but most were going 90+. Peyton passing yards as also gone up when I checked this afternoon :)
Posh boy Tom Brady talking a bit of smack, love it. It is early but last week said johnny football maybe the next Tim Tebow…. hello Tim!
Not moaning at anyone. Just that with prop bets, you’ll literally have no chance of winning if the team plays a certain way.
Look how many different rushers Patriots have used today. A change in gameplan from last week and bet has no hope. That’s frustrating since we gamble based on statistics.
Yeah saw Mariota win it hard to say at this stage, if Jim Harbaugh goes to Oakland then he may take him as he coached Luck at collage and being an ex QB would see him as a project. I hope he doesn’t go to New York, that would be career suicide but the Jets will be sniffing around.
Running back is hard to predict, teams who need RBs may take one in free agency, Gore, Murray, Ingram are big names hitting free agency and then their is Ray Rice who may not go back to Baltimore and Adrian Peterson, who the Vikings may decide to move on for a decent draft pick or couple of middle rounder’s.
MAIN BET
Ben Roethlisberger over 270.5 passing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet **WIN** 289
We wish you a Merry Christmas from all at Skybet!
Denver @ San Diego
I said last night, if Julius Thomas starts I will be on him to score and as expected he does start. Thomas despite missing the last 3 games leads the team in TDs with 12 and scored against Chargers last time they met. I thought Gronk would give them trouble last week it didn’t work out that way, but as I said earlier I expect Manning to bounce back tonight and his favourite red zone target can mark his return with a touchdown. He is 5/6 Bet365
THOMAS TO SCORE 5/6
Good luck if your having a bet
Need a Pittsburgh field goal here for the early treble! Luck has stopped throwing the sh*te!
They’re not going are they. I feel a knee coming from Big Ben.
You mother Ben, you absolute mother!
Give me a few hours while I go through the losses.
Broncos 3rd and 17, and they run? Fair enough.

V P. the Bulls and heat game is shocking low scoring!
I saw, sorry about that I have no idea what’s going on. Bulls have been scoring heavily recently and Miami have been doing better too. Did you take my pick of overs in the Clippers game yesterday, out of interest?
Bit of an ugly one so far today Jordan, unfortunately I didn’t take Big Ben as his yards had gone up by the time I looked at home. I was on Lynch, TY, Luck and Bell. Hopefully marshawn makes a good late run. No need to apologise though, happily backed these picks off my own bat
I was on manning yards too so nightmare set of bets from me all round!
