    Could someone please help.
On the SPL antepost Handicap betting
Mcbookie are offering 7/1 for Aberdeen +27
Does this mean if Celtic win the league by 26 points or less then Aberdeen is a winner.
Sorry in advance if this sounds like a daft question

Eddie, the thing with antepost handicap betting is that everyone is on a handicap as well as the team you’ve chosen. If Celtic are +0 for their handicap (which I’m assuming they are) then you will win your bet if Aberdeen finish 2nd and Celtic win the league by 26 points or less. Saying that, if Aberdeen finish second with not as many point and the team who have a handicap of +32 finish third you have to work out whether they would finish above Celtic or Aberdeen.

Sorry if that confuses you even more but just remember that every team has a handicap :)

Eddie, it is quite a good price considering Celtic won the league by 29 points last year ahead of Motherwell and I don’t expect that to happen again this season. You can never know with Scottish football though!
