GREG followed my Wednesday example by putting up a full house of winners on Thursday.
It's never easy on a Europa League card but he landed his over 2.5 goals treble and was spot on with his inplay tips on the Joker game from Estonia.
The night started well for me with Astana bringing up the Super Single but I was a couple of goals short on the btts treble and got the Top Treble all wrong.
Still it was a profitable night and I said I woudn't risk giving too much back. Also I was pleased to complete my £20 to £250 challenge with Astana draw no bet and Bet of the Day won for the fifth day running. The Betting Club pick also won so it wasn't a bad night.
Friday as regulars know is a day where I have to concentrate on the weekend tips and writing Saturday's Daily Record column.
I reckon Man United will beat Southampton at home and while Dundee v Hamilton is tough to call both teams will probably score.
Elsewhere La Liga kicks off with Malaga v Osasuna and Deportivo v Eibar and Lyon are at home to Caen in the French League. The second-tier matches in France, Holland and Austria are sure to attract plenty of interest.
With little time to do the research I'v decided to focus on just two teams – Man United and Lyon. Both should win well – Man United are a different side to last year's, have started well and have Paul Pogba making his debut too.
Lyon crushed Nancy 3-0 away last week with Alexandre Lacazette hitting a hat-trick. They netted eight against Caen in two meetings last season and have scored seven in the last two h2hs at home.
So for the Super Single it's simply a Man Utd/Lyon double and I'm adding a double on both to score 2+. Also can't resist small stake on Ibrahimovic and Lacazette to score first.

The first Friday night of premier league action sees Man Utd host Southampton and having landed the same winning tips on Man Utd in the Community Shield and again against Bournemouth, I see no reason not to do the same tips tonight. I think they will be popular on the site throughout the day, so hopefully we can start the weekend off with a bang. Southampton have won at Old Trafford on their previous two visits but I think another summer of losing players and a coach make them unlikely to make it 3 in a row tonight.
In both Man Utd games I have tipped them to win, score O1.5g and Zlatan to net and I don’t see any reason not to do this again. It is Jose first Premier league game at home and having won last week, to sit top albeit after two games sends out a little message to the likes of City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool who probably have some wheeling and dealing to be done in the next two weeks of the window.

Real Esteli despite the bookie underdogs are controlling the game in the CONCACAF. and are 13/8 to score with half an hour to play and have missed a pen and hit the post.
As a United fan I have kept emotions fairly level over the summer and taken the transfers with a pinch of salt. Obviously there is a hype around Old Trafford this season, but I’m keeping my feet firmly on the ground. Ok, we’ve looked better going forward and Bailly has settled in well at the back, but there is nothing to warrant Southampton being so long tonight.
With the debut of Pogba almost a certainty there’s going to be heaps of pressure on United getting a victory and that’ll likely play into Southampton’s hands. Chris Smalling has been cleared to play, and if he does, it’ll be the first time he and Bailly will have stood beside one another in the heart of defence. Bailly has been solid but it’ll be a learning curve for the both of them tonight against the quick and nimble Southampton forwards of Shane Long, and Nathan Redmond who was deployed as a striker in his debut last week. Southampton have a good record scoring against us, doing so in every game since their promotion in 2012, with two 1-0 wins in the last two visits at Old Trafford.
We may win, but I think Southampton will get their chances and will be very dangerous on the counter. I think United are being given too much respect by the bookies, and you can get Southampton to score @ 10/11 @ Unibet, but I’m taking BTTS as I don’t think it’ll be Southampton’s third 1-0 win in three attempts at Old Trafford.

AZ play at Utrecht. Utrecht lost one of their best players in Ramselaar, who they sold to PSV. AZ is a bit like Vitesse, a strong attacking side with plenty of goals in them.

The last two games at Old Trafford have finished 1-0 to the visitors and Southampton are some what of a bogey team to Man Utd.
It’s a fair assumption that Man Utd are a stronger outfit than the last few years but they showed on Sunday they are still vulnerable at the back and Southampton with plenty of pace should be capable of exposing that and are worthy of a goal or two.
United should have the quality to net a couple of times and the game has a feel of a 2-1 to the home side or possibly a 2-2 draw.
There’s also Olympic Women on later which I might post something in play.
