IT'S a big day for punters with the Premier League kick-off and the promise of some thrilling action.

Man United, Man City and Chelsea all hope to land the title under new stellar bosses while reigning champions Leicester won't give up without a fight and the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool will also hope to challenge.

I'll post a separate Premier League preview including anteposts as well as a Scottish football preview.

Leicester get us under way in the Premier League at promoted Hull who I've tipped for the drop. Claudio Ranieri's should get punters off to a flier with a convincing win.

The Foxes are my main Super Single although 11-10 has gone to it's a best price of 19-20 at  new top tips sponsors Marathonbet. Over 1.5 Leicester goals is an option at 6-5.

So these are my top tips for what I believe is a tough weekend and it's low stakes until we see some form, especially in the English lower leagues.

I kicked off the new season last week with an 11-1 aways treble and hope to add more winners.

    PSG
    Monaco DNB
    Shakhtar o1.5tg

    **WON**

Monaco bet void thanks to an 84th minute equaliser.

Another season beckons so i’m gonna try my best to post a NAP once a week.

    Week 1:
    Lincoln o1.5tg (Sat)
    Benfica o1.5tg (Sat)

    5pt on the double @ 1.33/1

Lincoln are home to recently promoted Sutton and this game comes on the back of a 6-1 Lincoln demolition of North Ferriby. Lincoln’s first game of the season was a 3-1 win away to Woking whereas Sutton started the season with a 3-1 loss to Solihull and followed this with a 1-1 draw away to Forest Green. I feel that given the start both teams have made, the fact that Lincoln are tipped for promotion and Sutton relegation and home advantage, Lincoln should be able to grab at least 2 goals here.

Benfica need absolutely no introduction here. They had an up-down pre-season compared to opponents Tondela but with Benfica playing the likes of Lyon and Tondela the likes of Setubal, it’s easy to justify the difference. However, with the season starting proper for Benfica last weekend, they blew Braga away 3-0 in the Portuguese Super Cup. Benfica know where the goal is and have shown this in their last 2 games against Tondela, scoring 4 in each game. Taking all this into account, I see Benfica scoring 2 or 3 at the very least here.

    Good luck if you follow!

Finally the season is back!! And after deciding I didn’t know enough about non english leagues so am I.

Not much tomorrow as I always think its hard to go off pre season but I will be taking over 2.5 in the league 2 game between Barnet and Accrington. Lots of goals were common in games that Accrington were involved with last season and with a 3-2 win in there first game of the season it looks like it could be the same again!

    Bannet v Accrington Over 2.5 goals – 11/10

    Good luck all.

Tomorrow may be a day for keeping the powder dry and see what the English Premier offers up – I’m playing it low-key with a look to some evening games and will post if think they have a chance.

    One for interest:

    Over 2.5 MGS 4-fold for tomorrow’s games:

    MAN CITY
    NEWCASTLE
    NORWICH
    DOVER

    9.56/1

Good luck with all bets tomorrow.

One bet yesterday and one winner thanks to both teams at Den Bosch contributing. That’s three BTTS & Over 2.5 bets in a row which is no easy task, so I’m glad I’ve built a bit of profit for the weekend with the Premier League kicking off. All bets for the weekend already posted but one that probably wasn’t was my Negredo ante-post tip, so here it is again. Good luck if you follow any selections.

‘I have one ante-post for the Premier League season and it’s the one I posted for thoughts yesterday. After doing a bit of research I think I’m sold that Alvaro Negredo is going to lead the line for Middlesbrough this season. He’s shown he can score goals in the Premier League before, and this was when he played third fiddle behind Aguero and Dzeko scoring 9 goals in 21 league appearances (11 as a sub) in their 2013/14 Championship campaign. After two years being spared behind the likes of Paco Alcacer in Valencia, he’s now back in the Premier League and looks to be the main man for the Boro.

You only have to look at what he did when he was the main striker at Sevilla, particularly in 2012/13. Here are a few of his seasons stats. Figures in brackets are as subs.

    2012/13 – 34 (2) apps, 25 goals
    2011/12 – 28 (2) apps, 14 goals
    2010/11 – 29 (9) apps, 20 goals
    2009/10 – 25 (10) apps, 11 goals

Middlesbrough might not light up the world this season, but he’s going to get goals, and a couple of good games (brace, hat-trick) and this could be easily achieved barring injury. I was tempted to even include him in my fantasy team before I found this market, and I’m still debating.

    Alvaro Negredo Over 8.5 Premier League Goals 16/17 @ 5/6 @ Skybet – 12 points

I’m staking this much because if it does lose, I won’t notice by the end of next season, although it could make figures for May next year slightly worse.’

Jordan, it’s a great call and well reasoned – Negredo’s a proper striker and knows how to score – I saw him play at City in the flesh a few times and the lad is sharp as hell.

Footballs a great leveller like that and no matter what calibre of team you play for, natural quality always wins through – Boro’ will score goals and he’ll likely be the guy who gets them.

You never know mate, you too might be 6000+ points up by the end of the season ??

Also, United are playing the likes of Phil Jones, Blind, Fellaini, Mata etc at Bournemouth this weekend. So no Mkhitaryan once more, or Jesse Lingard. How true is this? I’m not sure. Zlatan, Rooney and Martial will still start.

    Tijuana – Goal before 46mins (5-6, bet365) – 3.6pts **WIN**

”Dayro Moreno (Colombia) has been a hell of a buy since 2014-15 and has scored 35 goals in 68 appearances for Tijuana, notching five of their 10 already this season (four at home).

“Consider him to score again at 13-10 with bet365 but I’ll be on the goal time which has again moved to 44mins. It will float around there I imagine until Saturday so as said previously consider the first half goal instead.”

    1-0, 14th minute, Dayro Moreno ?

Morning all, its your main man Max here. I have had a great start to the new season. I didn’t post any tips this week as the early rounds of the cup at the beginning of a new season is always a trap and we saw shocks here and north of the border, well done to those who avoided those.

Onto today and again I preach “Discipline is key” so don’t rush in putting on lots of lines on as that’s is what the bookies love. I am hoping to land another NAP & NB for the second Saturday in a row and have put up 3 tips this month and they have all WON. Here are my weekend tips.

Newcastle like most are my Ante-post tips to get promoted and to win the league, they suffered a setback at Fulham and the pressure is just creaking up on Rafa. As a Liverpool fan, I rate him highly I think taking the toon at home is a no brainer to bounce back and I make them my NAP at 7/10. If they had won at Fulham they would be so much shorter, but they are back able to get their promotion push back on track. I like them in-front of a passionate crowd to win. I can also see them scoring O1.5g at 4/5 Boyles.

Newcastle to win 7/10 (NAP 20PTS)
    Newcastle O1.5tg 4/5 (NB 10PTS)

    Super Sunday’s Super Tips

I cant see Liverpool getting beat against a Arsenal side who are struggling with injuries especially in defence and Wilkshire and Giroud are not expected to play. Liverpool have only won once away in 20 games at Arsenal but have drawn 8 so I am taking Liverpool DNB at 5/4 Marathon. Klopp’s side are not great defensively but look good going forward with the likes of Coutinho, Firminio, Origi and Mane. I’m taking Liverpool to score O1.5g at 13/8 at Betbright.

My NAP is Man Utd 9/10 at Betstars to get the “Jose era” off to a good start with a win at Bournemouth. Van Gaal side lost 2-1 here in December but I expect Jose to kick off the season with a win and they are my NAP on Super Sunday. I tipped Man utd to win against Leicester in the community shield correctly and again I am taking them to score O1.5g at 21/20 Betstars, and why not throw in my scorer from Sunday Zlatan to net at 13/10 Various.

    Max’s Super Sunday Tips

Man Utd to win 9/10 (NAP 20PTS)
    Man Utd O1.5g 21/20 (NB 10PTS)
    Ibrahimovic to score 13/10 (2PTS)
    Liverpool DNB 5/4 (5PTS)
    Liverpool O1.5g 13/8 (3PTS)

Its possible I won’t be on hand to drop in my usual pre-match Derby summary/team news but i’ll try to sum up my thoughts of the first league match at home to Brighton and at home to Grimsby in the Mickey Mouse cup.

Derby had a very short pre-season with a new boss. Very little action in the transfer market – unlike last season. To be fair – 12 months ago, we lost 2 of our best midfielders in that first 30 mins against Bolton and the new owner got his cheque book out. We have Bryson and Hughes back, but we now seem to have far too many quality midfielders, a pair of decent wing-backs, a decent centre back – with Derby’s mediocre captain Keogh usually partnering him. Up front, the focal point has always been Chris Martin with usually Ince on the left and Russell on the right. We then bring in Nick Blackman who at the time of signing from Reading was on fire, yet he barely gets noticed when it comes to the starting 11.

Derby’s strength is obviously its midfield and 5 across the middle would make the best use of those assets but make the wingbacks and unnecessary attacking outlet which would force Forsyth and Christie out of the picture. It would also limit who gets a sniff in the starting 11 up front. Chris Martin will get stuck in, Bent will get you that late goal ( having spent 88 minutes impersonating the invisible man ), and Blackman then becomes an expensive and unnecessary spare part.

Cue Brighton: The new gaffer said 4-4-2… which in essence was a 4-4-1-1. Brighton dictated that match. The in-play stats suggested Derby very slightly edged it but I think it was 7-1 to Brighton on corners. I wasn’t impressed. Bent was favoured ahead of Martin up front, Ince didn’t do enough, Blackman on the right midfield had an early chance but not much else and Bradley Johnson on the left midfield ( his preferred position at Norwich ) – his work-rate was not good enough. We made 3 changes in the last 20 mins, Martin and Hughes came on and Derby actually started to look like a team that wanted 3 points.
Bent headed straight at the keeper in the dying seconds when it would of been easier to burst the net.
I don’t know why the boss has placed his faith in Bent, he’s lazy, doesn’t add anything else to the team performance and he won’t go in for a 50/50 header with the keeper in the 6 yard. Martin will also track back, help with the build-p, the clever back passes and you will get the work rate from him. It ended a 0-0 bore draw and Brighton did enough to take all 3 points.

    Up next, Grimsby:

Derby put a strong side out, Forsyth was back from his wife’s bedside but added little, Pearce partnered Keogh in central defence, Carson was kept between the sticks, I think Johnson sat that one out and Hughes came in. Bent kept his start and Martin swapped in for Ince. We put a team out that should of blasted Grimsby out of the water. I was late with my pre-match analysis and the Derby win price dropped from 4/9 to lower than 4/11 ( I picked that price up in-play with 15 mins gone on the clock and advised to take it ). Several minutes later Keogh got a head on a corner and grabbed the only goal of the game. Fair plays to Grimsby, they fancied our scalp but I’d say it was always going to be Derby’s match to lose what with our depth of squad.

Sometimes having too much choice complicates matters because it takes weeks to find that formation that gives your prize assets an equal chance of regular football that gets results. Last season we had 5 draws on the bounce in the league with a league cup win and we spent far too long kick-starting our season. Opening day draw to Bolton who fell through the trapdoor – we lost a lot of points, but then again, nobody last season grabbed that chance to dominate right through the season.

Barnsley back in the championship and I think they have a job on their hands to keep out of the bottom 6. Whoever you are, any team especially those coming up have to get something from every home match, otherwise, they’re doomed. They have had a bad 2 games in the league and the cup and I think from a Derby perspective they’re ripe for the taking.
Some money has moved on to the Rams this past few days seeing a small price drop from 23/20 to 11/10 with bet365. I’d say its about right. We are struggling to get going though. We’ve also seen a marked drop in the corners contribution from the Rams going back all the way through last season, so that affects those liking the overs corners bets. Incidentally, I have a bit more faith in the under 2.5 tmg’s on offer with bet365 @ 3/4.

We should shut Barnsley out for the 90 mins and I’m inclined to think Derby will 1 nil them. IF we’re lucky, we may get a 2nd.
6 scorelines of 0-0, 1-0, 0-1, 1-1, 2-0 and 0-2 would deliver the 3/4. I think that under 2.5 tmg’s is where the money is. It could also be that it could take Derby right through until we face off against Carlisle in the cup on the 23rd that we start to understand the new formation and tactics under the new boss. God I hope not.

Best of luck with your bets guys and i’ll try to post before kick-off if I can.

    BET365 IN PLAY OFFER

Arsenal v Liverpool. KO 1600 Sunday

Pre Match – JOE GOMEZ 1ST GOAL SCORER @ 40/1

Gomez is out for the foreseeable future with an achilles injury picked up while working his way back to fitness from a knee injury sustained last October, which kept him out for the remainder of last season.

Spoke with bet365 live chat and they confirmed that a pre match bet placed on a player who does not play, or enters play after the first goal has been scored, would qualify for the in play offer and mean you’d get the in play bet refunded should it lose. Meaning a totally risk free in play bet!

    Andre Gray ATGS 13/8
Wickham has 3 in pre-season for Palace and scored twice against West Brom last season. Andre Gray in cracking pre-season form for Burnley with 9 goals. 23 last season – can he find the net a level up??

  27. old al 8 years ago

Obviously a lot of speculation at this stage of the new season. Watched Port Vale play Wednesday in a friendly and although they were well beaten they looked a half decent side. Playing a Southend side who may take a while to find their feet, 13/10 seems a good price for a home win (nap)
Peterborough seem to score and concede every season so over 2.5 mg @ evens seems value and thrown in Fleetwood v Scunthorpe over 2.5mg @ 11/10 for good measure.

Three singles and a treble @ a gnats over 17/2

good luck everyone and here’s to continued success on the site.

Already given my views on other leagues and given my opinion on the premier league in the antepost thread but the jist of it is

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool definitely won’t win the League

    • nathanl 8 years ago

You cannot say that, Arsenal I think not, Liverpool hopefully will get top 4, and Chelsea are in with a chance as are a few teams…

      NOTHING is for definite

    • Johnb 8 years ago

I have said it and going by your comment you agree Arsenal & Liverpool won’t

    • nathanl 8 years ago

I know you’ve said it and it’s baffled me?!
I said I ‘think’ they won’t, there are still 38 games to play and you have no proof of who will come out on top, to make such a statement so early is mad, did you say that Leicester wouldn’t last year? Or man city wouldn’t when they were 1 down to QPR? Or it’s gonna rain today? You can’t make a statement like ‘definately’ when it hasn’t happened

Man City love to win and BTTS against Sunderland.

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

I have a btts and win treble on Twitter – Hibs, Dundee Utd and Norwich. Pays 50-1.
Damian Walker has put up first scorer tips so have a look. I also like Donati for Hamilton at 25-1 as mentioned on the comments by Theresa.
I’ve also tipped Cammy Smith for Dundee United and Andre Gray for Burnley.

  36. ollyh2016 8 years ago

    Wigan v Blackburn BTTS
    Fleet wood v Scunthorpe BTTS
    Double pays 2.3/1 @skybet

Anybody on here ever do both teams to score in both halves ? The odds are crazy and well worth little stakes 429/1 for a double definitely worth a little flutter

  37. Jordan 8 years ago

Job was done early in Mexico this morning, and almost just as early in China. Both teams scored within 17 minutes but I was counting sheep to be able to post cover (not that I probably would have with so long left). But that’s the way it goes. Yanbian also got their goal time up with plenty to spare which is unfortunate as I advised that too. Could easily stick up another bet for this afternoon but it wouldn’t be researched which I don’t like doing. Have looked at the Premier League goal times and while there are a few that stick out, these aren’t bets. All with 365.

West Brom – Goal before 79:00 @ 5/6 – Only failed to net once in the last six at Palace.

Swansea – Goal before 65:00 @ 5/6 – Have never failed to score at Turf Moor. Be sure to check if new signings such as Llorente and Borja Baston start, as with the regulars of Gylfi and Montero.

Stoke – Goal before 72:00 @ 5/6 – Middlesbrough will start their campaign without defender Ayala
or captain Grant Leadbitter. The Potters will start with the likes of Bojan and Shaqiri, with Arnautovic a possible late addition.

Tottenham – Goal before 52:00 @ 5/6 – If Spurs are anything like they were last year then this could be decent. They usually start games fast and had an excellent scoring record away from home last season. A lot of new faces at Everton, especially at the back with Tim Howard and John Stones leaving. Will it take some time for them to adapt under Koeman? I think so.

    Dundee v Rangers

This is the Rangers team: Foderingham, Tavernier, Wilson, Kiernan, Wallace; Rossiter, Halliday, Barton; Forrester, Miller, McKay

I don’t think it’s the correct team as theirs better options than Halliday and Miller however I still believe we’ll win but it’ll be close. We’ll concede but hopefully we have enough up top to cause them problems.

I tipped the Bradford Park Avenue v Curzon Ashton game for goals midweek and it didn’t dissapoint with a stonking 4-4 scoreline.

Both teams are back in action today and I’ve put together a National League North match goal double featuring both games…

    BPA v Nuneaton:

BPA’s last 5 games have resulted in 8-2-4-5-5 goals whilst today’s opponents Nuneaton saw 5 goals in their opener as they lost 2-3 to Halifax.

Nuneaton finished the last campaign well with all of their last 3 games (last 4 actual League games) seeing 3 or more goals.

    Alfreton Town v Curzon Ashton:

Alfreton have played 2 this campaign with a combined goals total of 11 (4-0 and 4-3) although that looks paltry when compared to CA’s opening two…

Two games and 15 match goals: the 4-4 against BPA and prior to that a 6-1 spanking at the hands of Kidderminster.

    OVER 2.5 MGS DOUBLE…2.08/1

Best of luck today lads ?

    Morning gents

We are now a full week into the new season and it’s been a great start for a lot of us! Long may it continue ?⚽️

I’ll be continuing to focus most my Saturday bets on the Scottish games until j get a better idea of what’s happening in England

    Aberdeen v Hearts

Fans following SPL teams are all in agreement, Robbie Neilson’s Hearts side are a team of hatchet men are intent on stoping their opponent by kicking and fouling them! They’ve already received 11 bookings in just two matches this season every one for a late tackle or a dangerous one! I said at that start of the season Hearts will be nowhere near the force they were last year and will be looking to finish 4th at best! Today they visit a full strength Aberdeen side who’ll be looking to get three points on the board after their opening 1-1 at St Johnstone! There’s no love lost between these two and I expect this to be a real bstyle with plenty of bookings ( especially Hearts)! Aberdeenshire men mem Rooney, McGinn and Hayes will all be involved and I’m taking the Dons to edge this!

Back Aberdeen to Win 21/20 ( Willam Hill) (NAP)

Three matches from Scotland I fancy to see goals

    Hibs v Dunfermline
    Airdrie v Livingston
    Stranraer v Alloa

All backable as singles or doubles but posting as a treble

    Pays 4/1

    Charlton v Northampton

It’s going to be a long hard season for Charlton I feel and the fact they ha e signed Josh McGinnes from Kilmarnock sums it up! He has one good game every 10 matches! Northampton howeve have had a great start to the season and will be full of confidance

Back Northampton to score before 65 mins 5/6

    • HullShaker 8 years ago

Tend to agree with you re Charlton Greg, we’ve a much weakened side this season and managed to put two past them!

      Good luck today.

  51. telge 8 years ago

    Stick to betting mate,

  52. scott 8 years ago

A small stakes interest on the early KO’s, Leicester and Rangers double pays just over 2/1

Main bet is a treble on Newcastle, Leyton orient, and Dundee Utd, pays just under 7/2

Then small stakes on all of the 3pm Premiership games to have 2 or 3 mgs:
    Burnley v Swansea 20/21
Crystal Palace v West Brom 20/21
    Everton v Spurs 20/21
    M’boro v Stoke EVS
    Southampton v Watford 20/21
Perm any 4 and all 5 for 6 bets, minimum 4-fold pays 13.5/1 and the acca pays 28/1 (plus all the 4-folds)

MAIN BET- FC COPENHAGEN v MIDTYLLAND. Over 2.5 mgs 4/5.
SMALL STAKES- FC COPENHAGEN. Over 2.5 TGS 9/4.

SUMMARY: The Danish league is now four/five games in and that’s why today I’m plumping to make this my main bet! COPENHAGEN don’t appear to be missing Jorgensen, or his goals, as goals aplenty have flowing with forwards and midfield chipping in to compensate his loss. MIDTYLLAND have lost the influential Sisto from their ranks, and although they have bagged goals in their games, they sure have conceded a few against established sides in the division ! Two against Randers, and three against Brondby. Last season COPENHAGEN overwhelmed today’s opponents with a 5-3 win, hoping for similar today!

Trying to teach myself some discipline in betting by recording every single bet I do (by hand). So far, out of 13 bed, only 1 was a double and 1 was a treble. All the rest were singles. (9 W, 4 L)

Funny thing is, it seems I lose more of the bets in which I put in a larger stake than those on which I use smaller stakes :( (my stakes range from 2u to 5u)
Cases in point: Anderlecht, Leicester & SIPG

I do level stakes so don’t really do any big bets.
But I often think I should have upped the stakes after a win – I suppose that’s natural.

I’m trying this strategy also, always feel like you should go bigger when you win , suppose depends on how confident you are?

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

Temptation is always to go bigger when you win – you should just buy something.

    • tigerman1 8 years ago

Haha, Mr. F, I will try to buy myself something if I win again.

By “level stakes” do you mean that you stake the same amount on both the bets you feel ‘confident’ about and the ones you feel less confident about?…

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

No I mean a max of 10pts a day from my betting bank.
So it doesn’t matter if I win big or not – my stakes will be much the same.
Most of my bets on accumulators are 1pt and most singles 2-3pts.

    • tigerman1 8 years ago

Oh now I get you. Might try your style… though it sounds a bit ‘spartan’ :p
      But discipline is key

Well done the person who backed Negredo to score.

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

Jordan made a good case for Negredo goals this season.

  83. 8 years ago

@gregbrowning sound for Northampton tip ?only game I had chance to look at !

  84. Johnb 8 years ago

    Cummings his usual wasteful self

  85. Johnb 8 years ago

HIBS 1-0 should be 3 or 4 nil
Two cleared off the line 1 world class save from a McGinn shot heading for the top corner and some bad misses and 8 corners in first 30 mins

  86. harrybaines 8 years ago

@mr-fixit Alloa going for it ;) Would of been a great price when they were 1-0 down as they were 2.63 pre-match

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

I wish I’d taken Alloa as SS instead of Leicester. Gave them a big write-up in today’s Record.

  87. yayo 8 years ago

Leicester did the bookies a huge favor today?

  88. Johnb 8 years ago

Difference in class here is so big it’s embarrassing, think Dunfermline should be in the Gibraltor 5th division lol
HIBS wasteful again, lost count of how many shots they have had but must be close to 20
Two cleared off the line, hit the post
Cummings must come off because last time I said that he scored straight away
    Hi????

    • capone31 8 years ago

Yeah he will qualify at a stroll and Gatlin will blow his wad qualifying and think he’s the man ;)

    • harrybaines 8 years ago

Odds have dropped to 2/1 now, looked like it was a great bet. Only just realized what it means. Basically like a league cup for the runners

  94. kpoothegreatest 8 years ago

    Newcastle seriously…

The 2 best tips of the day let me down. Lester cleared me out. If I was still in the game, woulda backed Newcastle to win or score 2. Some sweet winners on here
Anyway, topped up and did ManU win, Liverpool dc tomorrow @2/1

    • harrybaines 8 years ago

Looks good mate, i think united are a steal at that price but as we have seen. First game of the season can be dodgy

  96. Johnb 8 years ago

Hibs 5 goals in 3 games is simply not good enough, I wouldn’t pay the players again they don’t deserve it and it should go back to the fans that have paid to watch a team squander so many chances again,
3 games this season that must have seen 70+ shots

As for Newcastle I really do feel for the fans, they don’t deserve what that man is doing to their great club but the signs were there

  97. wasclueless 8 years ago

Don’t like betting on friendlies but Inter Milan look good at 1-2 v Celtic who are resting all their main men for Champions League.

  110. Johnb 8 years ago

I like to challenge myself because I feel any sport is profitable if you are willing to study,
All day I have been studying the Men’s 10,000m at the Rio Olympics and have come up with this

In my opinion it’s between three runners
Mo Farah, Bedan Karoki Muchiri and Geoffrey Kispang Kamworor, one Brit and two Kenyans

The most important person in this race is Bedan Koroki Muchiri as he has the pace and running style to really string this field out,
In the 10,000m you can watch something else till they get to halfway because nothing happens but at halfway this is where Bedan Koroki Muchiri should up the tempo and has the splits to really make this race a true test and by the time we get to the last 1/4 of the race 2500m we should be down to the last three runners, Bedan Koroki Muchiri leading with Geoffrey Kispang Kamworor in second and Mo Farah in third.
With about 3 laps to go it should be between Mo Farah and Geoffrey Kispang Kamworor and I am going for the Kenyan to win

    Odds
    Mo Farah 1/4
    Geoffrey Kispang Kamworor 11/2
    Bedan Koroki Muchiri 20/1

    Bets advised
    Men’s 10,000m Sunday 1:25am

GEOFFREY KISPANG KAMWOROR to win 11/2 betfred

BEDAN KOROKI MUCHIRI eachway 20/1 skybet stan james

    Finishing order

    1st
    Geoffrey Kispang Kamworor

    2nd
    Mo Farah

    3rd
    Bedan Koroki Muchiri

Olympics Golf tip is going well Justin Rose 12/1 now 11/8 and leading by two shots at -11

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

      Will be watching with interest.

    • Johnb 8 years ago

Mr f Farah is the worthy favourite but with so many Kenyans in the race the might make it difficult for him
I expect him to get outpaced about 7 or 8 laps from home but he could come back to challenge for the win,
My eachway tip is hard to call because he could kick at halfway and just keep going for the win which is why I have backed him eachway because 20/1 is far too big

Goals bets were losers today and well done to those who made a profit on what was a tough gig ?

Quick post for the Night Owl and it’s over to Brasil’s Serie A…

PONTE PRETA VS. FIGUEIRENSE (22.30 KO):

Team goals for the home side is my focus here and Ponte Preta have scored 2 or more team goals in just under 80% of their home games.

Their last 4 home games saw them score 2 goals on 3 occasions whilst the other (Cup) match saw them knock in 2 first half goals and 3 second half goals for a final score of 5-0 – their opponents…Figueirense!

    Selections to consider:

    PONTE PRETA…OVER 1.5 TGS…5/6

    PONTE PRETA…OVER 2.5 TGS…11/4

    Good luck.

  133. GregBrowning 8 years ago

Cheers @hullshaker I think it’s going to be a long hard season for Charlton! Good point for the Northampton ??

Just back from a day out at the fringe in Edinburgh! Despite Aberdeen failing to brake down the hammer throwers of hearts ( 5 bookings they got as thought ) it was a good Saturday with my three Scottish games seeing a million goals between them, haha and Northampton netting early doors

More importantly – the famous Perth St Johnstone are joint top of the league ?⚽️

@johnb i respect your your horse tips and football tips and feel you talk a lot of sense when it comes to football but please take off your green tinted glasses and and stop tipping Hibs to score 4 or 5 goals every week! Hibs will win the league there is no doubt about that but the reality is they are in the championship become they are not good enough for the SPL

They may have a good squad but that means nothing! Hibs will win. a lot of games this year but it’s ridiculous to think they will score 4 of 5 goal every week! Are you going to tip that every time they play?

Friend of mine where at the game today and said it was Brutal! The better team yes but they are nowhere near hammering teams, they can’t defend!

Im only saying this as you’ll run people up the wrong way! We know Hibs are your team but come on, be realistic!

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

Well done today Greg – hope you had a good laugh at the fringe.

High chance this sees goals and with 10 gone and a scoreline of 0-0, the Over 2.5 goals is up to a respectable 8/11 which I’ll jump on…ridiculously tight prematch.

Also taking BTTS score 2nd half at 9/4

    ?

  136. iceman 8 years ago

Quick question tipsters, what would be better value picking a team to win at almost evens or pick over 1.5 goals at the same price? Just torn between both bets for the Man Utd game. Any thoughts?
