IT'S a massive day of sport and punters will be trying to shuffle between bets on the Grand National, US Masters, Anthony Joshua fight and the football.
Most of my attention will be on the football and I've posted separate previews covering some of my Scottish and English tips.
Scott Allot and Desmond's tips are up and Jordan for now is commenting his without posts created so I've listed them here too. Greg's tips are on a separate post now.
Don't try to do all of my tips and be especially careful with the long shots.
On Friday one more Hertha Berlin goal would have given me two winners but it wasn't to be.
Remember to check out We Love Betting for their latest tips and video chat.

Really like your super single Mr Fixit, looks really good value to me. I had a good value anytime goal scorer in Australia come in yesterday I think I’ve found another but this time in the Championship in the form of Gaston Ramirez for Middlesbrough. Middlesbrough seem to be back to their best with 3 wins on the trot now and scoring 6 in their last 2 with 3 of those goals coming from Ramirez, netting 2 last time out he’s bang in form yet the bookies have him at 11/4 to grab himself another.
I like the look for Carlisle at 5/4 too. Playing a Mansfield team who haven’t won away in 6 with the last 5 being loses. Carlisle are coming off a win against Hartlepool who were also Mansfield’s opponents last time out which they lost.
Not had a look at the full card so might post some more later. Good luck everyone.
sam c, Carlisle were on my shortlist – should win.
Well, I can’t see where the next Villa goal is coming from. They may have unveiled their new club crest for next season (the lion will have claws unlike the current one) but this season tells its own sorry tale.
I’m considering Bournemouth -1 which goes at around 7/2 – 11/4.
stagger, I also like Bournemouth -1 but playing it safer.
Well it wasn’t a good day for the nights main punts with a 3 point loss, but another goalscorer in the MLS in 3 minutes @ 2/1 made it a quick winner with Sapong netting for Philadelphia.
Last week I had Norwich to score twice at Carrow Road against Newcastle in what turned out to be one of the games of the weekend in the league in a 3-2 win for the Canaries. This weekend Newcastle face another tough test at St Mary’s who can still get European football next season (if they want it) with a decent run in. Since coming up in 2012, Southampton have scored twice or more in 6 of the 7 h2hs, with Newcastle conceding 10 goals in the three games at St Mary’s since Southampton’s promotion without scoring a single goal. The only real concern for Southampton is the absence of Shane Long, but with Charlie Austin on the bench, they have an adequate replacement. Pelle and Mane will likely start, and with the Italian scoring 3 in his last 3 games, and 3 in 3 against Newcastle, he would be my best scorer in this one @ 6/4 @ Bwin, but I’m liking Southampton to score twice.
Double that up with Mochengladbach to score at Ingolstadt in the Bundesliga. Monchengladbach aren’t brilliant away from home (they haven’t won since October) but they have scored 6 goals in their last 4 games on the road and are pushing for European football while Ingolstadt are all but safe. Top goalscorer Raffael is doubtful but the Brazilian didn’t feature in their last game at home against Hertha in what was a 5-0 win with Thorgan Hazard doing better than his brother this season and grabbing a brace. I do think Ingolstadt could score and you’ll get the better price there but Monchengladbach are the favourites for a reason despite Raffael’s absence.
Southampton Over 1.5 Team Goals
Borussia Monchegladbach To Score
58/50 @ BoyleSports – 2.5 points
Add Ajax Over 1.5 Team Goals @ just under 2/1 @ BoyleSports (2.94) – 0.5 a point

Top man Sir Jordan, nice to wake up to an increased betting balance ? .Will be on today’s tips.
Well there goes my betting bank.
Backed top v bottom in trinidad. Drew 1-1 red card for my team.
Earlier today estonian home team 1/7 shots. Drew 0-0 missed a pen.
NAK in fine form v bottom club. Drew 1-1
Recently…inter, 2 red cards. Napoli lost. Real madrid (goal disallowed) . Dortmund failed to win.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. I reckon I have had about 9/10 more recently on runs of teams with 6/7 or 8 wins behind them who inexplicably draw when I bet on them.
Im not superstitious but something doesnt feel right.
I even had a few bets on rugby as i have a friend who is very knowledgeable in this area and again two complete freak results derailed the bets when i got on. Teams that hadnt won away in 2 years.
Ive ended 3 20 game unbeaten streaks of late and to top it off i backed vautour today and it was the only horse to fall.
Should i start posting in advance so you can back the opposite?
dom77 strange run that is..but keep your head up, it will change sooner or later
At times it’s like that….change will come soon… Just keep your head up mate.

Jordon any A league tips?
Im on ferriera anytime at 2.75 for central. Trifanovic isnt playing for newcastle. But not a confident bet to be honest. Clash of the sh!teuns we got kickin off now
Ferreira scores a penalty :)
Nice one, Hampy. Excellent price!
Not sure if I’m gonna be around for a late Derby pre-match preview as daft as it sounds, my only opportunity to leave the house to go get a mums birthday card is sometime after 11am – I’m relying on my little sister who happens to be a district nursing sister to juggle jobs – as the old saying goes ” you only ever miss your mothers birthday once ! ”
Anyway, @mr-fixit I’ve seen your Derby to score 3+ , if I’m honest, I’m 50/50 whether to agree.
I do expect us to get 2+, I do expect us to cover a -1 straight handicap – I fully agree with that but, there’s gonna be a few changes to Derby’s line-up.
Olsen in left wing-back picked up a late niggle, so Johnson who notched twice from midfield slotted in there and apparently, whilst Olsen is fit, Johnson isn’t.
The midfield linkage to the front 3 that we’ve been missing all season was down to Bryson. Martin was unlucky not to get 2 or 3, Christie missed his chance to notch one and Ince on any other day could easily of got on the scoresheet twice. It was a terrific team performance against our playoff rivals and threw down a marker for only ourselves to aspire to. Why do I say that?? We have 6 games left and they include Sheff Wed, Ipswich and Brighton ( 2 of those are on home turf ). our other games are Bolton today, Charlton and Bristol City.
Although mathematically impossible to call right now , Bolton are 2 matches away from relegation, Derby could also have a say in which league Bristol are playing in next year.
From within the Derby squad, the aim is to win the home games and try to get something from the away matches. In truth, I think we can’t rely on us winning all of our homes since Sheff Wed and Co are by no means a pushover but the match against Hull was a solid performance. ( from a personal perspective, I never ever expected Hull to get anything from that game – a game where we were 2/1 outsiders to win !! ) my 9/2 Derby win and overs 2.5tmgs came in, we left it a bit late but at 2 down, Hulls bad day went from bad to horrible with a straight red. Their only other booked player was also very lucky to stay on the pitch, we got the freekick but no card.
If ever there was a competition for team goal of the season, take a look on youtube at Derby’s 2nd. Full of precision, timing and dare I say it sexy.
I’ve since looked into Hulls pre-match/post match analysis of their own team on both matches they’ve faced off against us this season and the fans are all pointing to the slowness of their midfield as a huge problem. So they’ve been keeping goals out but their midfield must be creaking at the seams. Incidentally, Derby are responsible for 1/4 of all of Hulls conceded goals this term.
On to Bolton: They’ve had a wretched season and grabbed a point off us right at the start of the season where we had 5x back to back draws. They’ve not beaten us at our place in the last 7 attempts. I think their last win was a 2-1 in 1999.
I’m not too sure if Derby’s Hendrick will be available but we have coverage for an absent Johnson in Butterfield – the 2 goal hero away at Hull ironically.
The big news though is that Derby’s dynamo Will Hughes is available for selection, we have so missed his vision and flair this season, but having him sidelined from the opening game has kept him off the radar of his dream club…. Liverpool. With his lack of football this term, its effectively set him back a year in his footballing progress. I think that in itself is enough to stop people bothering the lad at least for the next transfer window. If I was the manager, I wouldn’t start him, even though he had 60 mins against Fulham in the U21’s, I’d bring him on for a 20 minute runout if the result dictates by that point. No sense in rushing him back.
Derby were nailed on @ 1/3 with bet365 for a win it’s now 2/7, the -1 straight handicap should deliver @ 8/13 which is a respectable price, but the stingey 13/8 on offer for their benchmark -2 straight handicap with bet365 is a bit optimistic if I’m honest. Yes its Bolton, another must win for Derby – argueably the easiest of our last 6 matches but Derby DID leave it kinda late to get the last 2 goals against Hull. Great to see though that we chased every ball for all 94 minutes. For us to put down 3 or 4+ goals against a team that is truly on the ropes, we need to get a couple before halftime.
Derby know they messed up last season, but the past 2 months of results all be it not weekly wins have been much improved on the previous 12 months. The playoff positions and the chasing few are so tight it could be decided by goal difference.
My last Derby prediction was based on my assumption that Hull would notch so the over 2.5tmgs was left to Derby. Bolton have only scored 6 from their last 7, whilst Derby have grabbed 12. I’m more confident on the -1 than a Derby and over 2.5tmgs OR a Derby win/Btts.
Another bet I like the look of and this is based purely on stats: Derby have won their last 4 at the Ipro, 4 cleansheets. Cannot for the life of me find the Derby to win to nil, but I’m sure its there somewhere.
Best of luck folks, hopefully, I’ll be back in time for a late preview/team news.
nathanufton, yeah my Derby 3+ is a risky one but really fancy them to win well and 2+ was too short.
Come on you East Fife

Italy Serie B 14:00
Modena vs Trapani – Trapani win & BTTS 11/2 **NAP**
Trapani are the form team in Serie B picking up sixteen points from a maximum of eighteen. They have won four on the spin including two matches played away where this market was nailed and have scored ten goals in five. Today they are at Modena who are without a win in five with three defeats in that period. However Modena usually tend to score at home having netted in thirteen of seventeen games there this season only failing on four occasions. Since the turn of the year it’s been a mixed bag of results for them at in equal measures at home but on present form I think Trapani will be too much even if they net.
Crystal Palace vs Norwich – Crystal Palace win & BTTS 15/4 **NB**
Palace’s 2-2 draw at West Ham could be a sign that they’re about to put some form together just in time to put a bit of distance between themselves and the dropzone. Stats do not really back the bet but going by their good performance at the Boleyn ground I think they can get the win today and put an end to their eight game winless run at home. Norwich will always be dangerous with the likes of Mbokani and Naismith up top whilst Jarvis and Olsson support attacks from wide so Norwich should also score today.
Livorno vs Bari – Bari win 12/5
KV Mechelen vs Lokeren – Lokeren win 11/4
Ryman Premier Division:
Lewes vs Staines Town – Lewes win 9/4
Mersthan vs Enfield Town – over 2.5 MG’s
East Thurrock vs VCD Athletic over 2.5 MG’s
Bognor Regis Town vs Leatherhead – over 2.5 MG’s
Brentwood Town vs Kinstonian – over 2.5 MG’s
5.11/1
Good luck all
@bullseye – mate, I have to say (and I’m not blowing smoke up your bully butt) but some of your NAP’s are quite literally stunning. Trapani 0-1 down at HT – romping home as 1-4 winners. I owe you a pint or two mate – and your Darts bets are still up there as amongst the work of legends. High five mate – and thank you.
Cheers @simpledxb kind words sir,

Nice one Hampy!
Morning Gents
Despite there somehow failing to be a second goal in the 1860 match, it turned into a decent night with the NB landing and both Hearts v Aberdeen bets landing courtesy of bookings and a Simon church goal!
On to today:
Hamilton v Dundee
A huge match for these two for different reasons! The hosts are in real in danger of occupying the relegation play off spot and with just three wins in there last 25 matches and with no winnin their last 12 at home it’s easy to see why! Sadly for Hamilton, most SPL clubs fans and chairman would happily see Hamilton go down and they welcome a Dundee side looking to confirm their place in the top 6! They were terrific last weekend destroying Ross County 5-2 and with Stewaer, Loy Harkins and goal machine Hemmings, they are a real threat going forward! Dundee double chance is decent value in eyes at 8/15 and swithered on doing team goals but opting for the straight Dundee win
Back Dundee to Win 6/4 (William Hill) (NAP)
Derby v Bolton
Montrose v East Fife
Back over 2.5 match goals double 6/4 (Bet365) NB
Dundee United v ICT
Bristol City v Sheff W
Peterborughs v Rochdale
Fulham v Cardiff
I fancy goals in all of these and could be backed as singkes but posting as a small stake 4 fold over 2.5 match goals at a nice 14/1
QPR v Charlton

I have ventured away from the top Euro leagues today because nothing has really taken my fancy. I don’t like weekends sandwiched between crucial Champions/Europa League fixtures because teams tend to rest players, or at least have their ‘eye off the ball’.
With that in mind, I have gone for an over 8.5 corners treble on the following matches:
Stabaek v Valerenga (Norway, 5pm)
St Etienne v Troyes (France, 7pm)
Sporting Lisbon v Maritimo (Portugal, 8:45pm)
Treble pays 8/5 (Bet365)
I am not as confident as I was last week, so definitely low stakes on this one.

Can’t see beyond a clear City win here. They’ve already done The Baggies 0-3 at The Hawthornes back at the start of the season.
City have scored 39 at home this season and I fancy a few more today including one from Silva…back in improved form and netted in the previous H2H:

Silva supposed to be resting an ankle problem bud. Kompany and sterling both out too though yaya looks to be back in. Not sure on this game with 2nd leg of champs league a few days away

SONDERJYSKE over 1.5 team goals 6/4
SONDERJYSKE over2.5 team goals 2/1
SONDERJYSKE over3.5 team goals 16/1
SUMMARY:
Home team stats don’t look overly impressive, playing 10 winning 6 and losing 4! Under closer scrutiny it becomes apparent those 4 defeats have come against team all above them in league table, 2 of which were against Copenhagen. In those 4 defeats they also managed to net in all, thus leading to assume that in all 10 home games they’ve never failed to register! The six winning games Sonderjyske have won handsomely with again scoring freely, netting 17 times. Their opponents today Agf have been tricky to beat on their travels, notching up some unexpected draws, and in doing so scoring and conceding goals. With this in mind BTTS at 4/5 and over 2.5 goals at 21/20 maybe more appealing to some.

€166.39 torino u19 over 1.5tgs returns 221.85
Finally started betting online with PaddyPower yesterday and love these, bet €20 on a game and get 2 free €5bets inplay. Put the 20 on btts but unfortunately put the 2 fivers on Payet next goalscorer 7/1(wish I was joined a few weeks ago when he was knockin em in all over the place). Well done big Andy anyway, late call up for the Euroes?
Same €20 bet with the Leicester(win) game tomorrow and then do Vardy fgs or Mahrez fgs or 0-1 Lester inplay bets.

Just spotted a decent request a bet option on skybet for the Man city v West Brom match.
West Brom to score and take 4 corners
3/1
ray_ez, looks good to me. Man City must have one eye on PSG.
Just back in and some of my bets looking OK.
Bournemouth SS can be covered as can Scots btts treble but I’m letting them run.
Advising 1pt part-cover on the homes that pay 9-1.
Wigan the only concern so go 1pt on draw at 7-1.
English btts treble in late so not a bad all round although 90th-minute Airdrie equaliser beat me for a 20-1 aways treble.
Ended up going with greg today mr f. I need to start following your tips more accurately. End up picking between them and just losing out. Well done sir.
Today went dundee/Wigan double.
Didn’t take the cover very nice fivefold mr f thanks ????
And well done Desmond on his over 2.5mg treble that came in around 11/2 ????
Not often I can say easy money Mr f but thats definately one.
Now I can comfortably say. What national.
Kelly d is flying!!!
Anyone on the Northern Prem goals treble – just waiting for a 3rd in Rammy’s game so cover there if needed. ?
Only Grimsby letting the 35/1 down at the minute – all other games in (City still to KO)
The genius strikes again. Thank you greg☺
Down well out of today great work chaps. Got a couple to play leaving at that. Onto the national

@ Guru, thanks buddy. I broke your 2.5 overs games into singles, as well as 4 fold. Handsome profit ?
I have been following this site and using some of the tips for some time now but i only ever posted 1 tip a long time ago that didn’t go well!
I have recently started to dabble and do very well with betting on the overnight football in some of the more obscure leagues (columbia, chile, paraguay, costa rica, argentina) etc etc, something that i feel a lot of people miss out on here (barring the odd 1 or 2 people who seem to tip over night games) so i decided to share some of my tips with you guys.
I tend to look at goals rather than match results in most of my betting these days because i find match results are becoming more and more difficult to predict everywhere.
I don’t look to hit home runs with big accas, i like to play it fairly safe, try and pick 2, 3 or 4 outcomes that should land and back them fairly heavily.
With that in mind i have a couple of shouts for saturday night/sunday morning to consider
General Caballero v Cerro Porteno (Paraguay) Sunday @ 00:10 – this league is generally pretty crazy for goals and i expect plenty in this one too! In the head to head for these 2 there has only been 1 occasion where over 2.5 hasn’t landed and that was in 2011, Cerro’s last 3 games have seen 11 goals and caballero’s last 3 have seen a massive 22 goals!
NAP – Over 2.5 match goals 8/15 @ gentingbet
NB – both to score 1/2 @ gentingbet
For those who dont mind a bit more risk over 3.5 match goals looks a good shout too at 11/8.
also consider backing over 1.5 match goals in any of the following to boost odds
Independiente Medellin v Alianza Petrolera (colombia)
CD Barranquilla FC v Atletico Nacional Medellin (colombia)
Independiente v Olimpo de Bahia Blanca (argentina)
Herediano v LD Alajuelense (costa rica)
CD Los Millonarios v Boyaca Chico (colombia)
Huracan CF v San Martin de San Juan (argentina)
djdoctord, don’t worry about getting them wrong – put up your tips and I wish you good luck.
we all get them wrong otherwise sites like this wouldnt exist because we would all be millionaires, first one was 3-2 at ht so at 4/11 over 1.5 was an easy shout. goals odds in argentina in particular seem to be really good this season, i think because in previous seasons there were so few goals, god knows whats happened this year

Bloody Grimsby pushed the 35/1 under the bus…all others in. 1 goal shy in the Rammy game which shanked the treble…bad day at the office.
Haven’t gone through thread in full but well done Mr F, Greg, Desmond and all other winners…looks like there’s been some crackers ??

Research ? Kelly bet over 1.5 goals – not to win. May not happen but still, maybe a post earlier from you tipping sociedad to win or even double chance would have been nice. Easy to comment after. ?
ok guru – as I say look at the stats, post your own bets. Then we can tell you how you misread them.
Stats ? Sociedad v Barcelona – Barcelona scored in last 7 games away. Scored 2+ in 4 of them. Not tonight. Stats smats
Looks like Sosiedad can play next two days and they wouldn’t concede goal.
Hindsights a wonderful thing which none of us have so no point adding things after bet is taken as pointless&if you magically do have hindsight post tips as I will be all over em guys lol
yeah hindsight is wonderful if i had seen the post earlier i would have pre warned kelly.
maccathered, if you don’t say it before the game don’t say it after it.
Couldn’t agree more
Your point is 100% fair dooz I suppose. Not researching a barcelona game is more than forgivable though. Barca at a glance should be humping these -2 at least. I don’t bet with much so didn’t lose much.
What your doing by making your comment like that is turning it into your fault I lost money. I hope you feel bad. ☺
like i said i would have posted earlier had i seen the bet earlier but the 1/2 should of put anyone off
fair enough points but dont think you can be put off Barcelona unless it was a reserve team put out
kelly wasn’t out to upset you or offend you in anyway, sorry if i have.
macathered, nice to see. I think you were a bit over critical.
I didn’t take Barca today but seeing the line-up I’d have fancied them.
no offence taking mac :-)
Could’ve done with you piping up over an hour ago dude. I’m sure Kelly could be done without the dressing down aswell lol. Naughty bad Kelly ?
One of those days for me.
Barcelona let down the “bankers” tenfold, of all people.
I waste my own money through total stupidity by putting @bullseye2 NAP on as btts no, rather than btts. Costing myself 6 stupid points (first time I’ve made an error like that for years, makes me sick!)
Picked 3 of the first 5 in the Grand National so reduced my losses. Of course I wasn’t on the winner.
And then lost on the boxing when the Jamie McDonnell fight ended 20 seconds before the end of the 9th round – I had over 9.5 rounds. Even though it went over 9.5 rounds it still counts as a loser.
3 points down on a day that should’ve been much much better.
Still – Joshua to win in rounds 4-6 could save the day ?
I have ventured away from the top Euro leagues today because nothing has really taken my fancy. I don’t like weekends sandwiched between crucial Champions/Europa League fixtures because teams tend to rest players, or at least have their ‘eye off the ball’.
With that in mind, I have gone for an over 8.5 corners treble on the following matches:
Stabaek v Valerenga (Norway, 5pm) *WON* (10-5)
St Etienne v Troyes (France, 7pm) *WON* (5-10)
Sporting Lisbon v Maritimo (Portugal, 8:45pm) *WON* (5-4 HT)
Treble pays 8/5 (Bet365)
*WON*
Well done,good tipping,next tip I’m on it
@dt, your flying right now pal. Cheers buddy ?
Dt4854 Not sure but I think all your bets won in the first half .That is amazing considering the fact that you were not as confident as last week. You have definitely got something good going on here . keep it up!
Thanks guys. Appreciate it.
Alves112 – yep, all 3 bets came in in the first half. It’s amazing how corners can stack up so quickly sometimes. Appreciate your kind words. Will hopefully have something up tomorrow.

evening djdoctord, yes one or two of us venture over to SA quite regularly personally I only really only bet small stakes no more than a few pounds due to the amount of unpredictable red cards over there, I’m sure you’ve done your research but when theres a red the games just seem to close up and goals dry up as teams are so used to playing with 10 men, GL and look forward to your posts………..
