IT was a night of near misses although no damage done to the Super Single total. I tipped PSG -2 AH and the only surprise was they conceded in a 3-1 win at home to Metz.
That mean the stake was returned but I wasn't so lucky with the Top Treble. Rotherham and PSG -1 came up but Bayern Munich conceded late to Dortmund then amaazingly missed all of their penalties in the shootout. Very un-Germanlike.
There are plenty of games to look at on Wednesday with Leicester-Chelsea a big one in the Premier League. Leicester are going for five wins in a row but with Newcastle at home on Saturday at lunchtime there's a chance they'll play a weakened team and focus all of their energies on the Geordies.
I'd fancy Chelsea, unbeaten in 13, whatever and Chelsea -1 will tempt if Nigel Pearson does rest his main men. Chelsea's price to win has gone out to 4-5 and the market is worth watching.
Elsewhere Wolfsburg face third-tier Arminia for the right to face Dortmund in the German Cup Final. Arminia have taken some big scalps to get this far – Hertha Berlin, Werder Bremem and Gladbach – but surely Wolfsburg will be too good for them even if they've haven't won in four.
Wolfsburg are a best 8-15 with BetVictor and my Super Single in the Daily Record is Wolfsburg -1 at 8-9 with the same firm. If Wolfsburg go full strength I can't see past them. The indications are they'll put out the strongest available side but star man Kevin de Bruyne is a doubt.
In La Liga there are five matches and Real Madrid will be keen to match the big win notched by Barcelona last night as they entertain Almeria. Real have banged in 19 goals in their last four home meetings with the strugglers so I'll be looking at them to win -2 or -3 and for Cristiano Ronaldo to score at least once.
For the Super Single I've gone for a form-based bet and taking Atletico Madrid at Villarreal. The home side are on a terrible run having drawn five and lost two of their last seven. And for such a good footballing side to have scored just two goals in that run shows how off form they are.
Atletico have lost touch with the leading two but remain in decent form and will be looking to nail down third place in the closing weeks. Traditionally Villarreal is tough place to go – Atletico have one win and two draws in five visits – but the visitors should be able to take advantage of their opponents' woes and do enough to win.
They are a best 5-4 at Betfred and I'm willing to risk my Super Single 2.6pts profit on Atletico to edge it.
There are eight games in Serie A and while champions-elect Juventus let me down at the weekend as they lost to city rivals Torino for the first time in 20 years I reckon they'll bounce back at home to a Fiorentina side who have lost their last four in Italy and crashed out of the Italian Cup semis despite a first-leg away success.
For the Top Treble I'm starting with Juventus and adding Real Madrid -2. I was tempted to complete it with Wolfsburg but let's wait for team news because I suppose Arminia, who are unbeaten in 20 at home, deserve some respect.
So complete with both to score at Molde v Stromsgodset in Norway. Molde have netted in their last 17 home games and six in their previous two. On the h2h the last five meetings have seen both score and over 2.5 including two 2-2s and a 3-2.
Molde should win the match and in Scandinavia other short-priced sides such Malmo and Elfsborg. A treble on those pays just under 2-1 at 888sport.
I'd be happy to add Chelsea and Wolfsburg to the treble but let's wait for the line-ups. The fivefold pays 6-1 at 888sport.

Leicester wont play a weakened team tonight, can you imagine if they did rest players for the newcastle game and still lost both? If it was an away tie fair enough but theyr playing at home in front of their own fans and theyd be doing them a disservice if they left their key players out while needing vital points, theyd be aswell not turning up atall and giving chelsea the 3-0 win.

this should be a really banker bet.
chelsea has the possibility to secure the PL title on their own homeground in the next match if they win this one. they also have to much quality to loose this game and should at least get a draw. HJK dominated the finnish league last season and only had a little competition from Lahti half-way in the season. KTP is new in the Finnish elite devision and would need som time to settle and adapt. HJK won the league last season and would most likely win again this season. Odds ballklubb is a surprise home in norway the last two seasons. last year they captured third place and lost in the cup final against Molde who won the league. This season they started with an awat victory against molde and have 3-1-0 so far this season and sarpsborgs form is 1-2-1. sarpsborg have started their season against weaker opponents than Odd. Sarpsborg is not a top team and can sometimes impres on homeground, but normaly not against top teams. ODD wil not loose this one.
if you are in the risky corner you could consider Stromsgodset not to loose against Molde @2.95. Molde have not impressed that much so far this season and Stromsgodset is starting to wake up. in the last 5 H2H matches Stromsgodset have won 3 and drawn 2 so a good chance for a draw or awat victory in this match at a fine odds. But still a risky bet when you consider that Molde have a better team than Stromsgodset on the paper.

Unless you are au fair with these leagues you wont know which team strengthened over the break and which sold a few players and have gone backwards.

i’m a norwegian, so anytime a transfer or something happens here its like new years eve, so here it is impossible not to know what teams that have strenghtened their squad and those who loose a few players. Nor ODD or sarpsborg have strenghtened their squad in a big way and they have neither lost many players. HJK have lost a couple players to the german 2nd division, but they player they will miss the most i think will be joal pohjanpalo who went to leverkusen. On the other hand they have snapped up a couple good players on free transfer from some decent leagues who will be good enough for the veikkasliiga. Including some pretty good keepers. so none of the teams will be so weakened after the transferwindows that it should be reasons to worry. Chelsea i think we all are familiar with now and their situation when we look at their chances at winning the league at stamford bridge. well, both teams have a lot of offensive players including Elyounoussi, kamara and the kind of in-form youngster Sander Svendsen(one to look out for). Stromsgodset on the other hand only have Kovacs as a potential goalscoring striker, but the old winger Storflor is also capable to score som goals and also the the midfielder Iver Fossum is a good playmaker and a potential threat (scored a hat-trick against Vaalerenga pre-season). He is a player almost as talented as Martin Odegaard, but ended up in the shadow last season, but this will be his season. Molde is a stronger team in defence than SIF, but they should at least score one goal. The last seven times these teams have played at Aker stadion Both teams have scored. so BTTS should go in. the game would probable see over 2,5 goals aswell. so if your bookie offers BTTS and over 2,5 it would be a good deal.

After a day of lost posts and lack of internet connection – Christ, we’ve only just got running water and electicity over here – have managed to get back on.
I think my post came on at half time in Chelsea game but to be brutally honest, it had the faint aroma of straws and clutching as I was typing it.

1st time i can state full house, did use some cover as been stung to many times and didn’t want to risk my effort towards getting level (if only i covered more in the past)
Beginning of the year went to +60 points which vanished with some stupid betting and went to -125 points with another 25 points deposited.
have been a bit More sensible for most of April and now sit with ……… 97 points

Junior on fine form and games on average do see goals. Uniautonoma – poor form and rarely see goals…as a very brief analysis.
I will be backing Junior -1 at evens and also Over 2.5 goals at 10/11.
