THERE was plenty of drama on and off the pitch in the Champions League on Tuesday – with Juventus sparkling and Dortmund and Monaco stopped in their tracks by a series of explosions near the Germans' team bus.
Dortmund and Monaco will give it another go on Wednesday but Juve already have one foot in the last four after battering Barcelona 3-0. Unlike PSG they can defend and I can't see them capitulating in the same way.
Most bookies voided bets on the Dortmund-Monaco game as it didn't start but others will use the 24-hour rule and let them stand. If you're not sure check their rules and even then some may allow you to void if you ask.

Troubling news out of Dortmund last night. ‘Explosive devices placed and triggered on the edge of the road’ – it sounds like something out of a movie.. ridiculous. Thankfully there were no serious injuries and we human beings can do what we do best in the face of adversity – play football. Let’s hope tonight’s game is a spectacle for all the right reasons.
Onto the punts. According to Bet365, Spennymoor had some 30 attempts on goal last night, but unfortunately only ran out 0-2 winners to leave me a goal short. Juve made light work of scoring so things would’ve looked good heading into today. Nevertheless, there is still a bet pending from yesterday that has been rolled over:

However, for very similar reasons, I’ll be on the same bet in the game at the Allianz. Of those remaining three, there was a 1-1 draw at Camp Nou, a 0-3 job on Atletico Madrid and a largely irrelevant Club World Cup game.
When the price for BTTS is as short as 1/2, I’m adamant there’s real value in taking a much higher price at the risk of either side grabbing a few corners. 3 corners apiece is nothing too outlandish, and for that added requirement, the price once again rockets up. I’ll be having a point on it.

So I disagree about Leicester’s chances and think athletico are massively over priced. It’s highly likely to be a cautious game and I fancy low scoring 1-1 or 1-0 either way.

I thought someone may have mentioned before but obviously the 365 offer was the main one today. Which was crap in the end lol
365 have taken a battering on some of the most recent games that they’ve done the offer on. I wasn’t surprised in the slightest to see that this one was on the Atletico/Leicester tie. Definitely ‘sensible’ on their part.
But for other counties they let them do the Real game… We ended up with poo game.
Hope they do the offer again for the 2nd legs and not on a good game!

Oh my mistake, I didn’t realise that’s how it worked! Just kind of made an assumption after remembering some non-English ties having the offer before. I guess that’s because they had been knocked out by that point. ;)
