SOME cracking games today and punters should be treated to  goals as four of the best sides in Europe clash, neither of whom I would say are watertight at the back

France v Germany (7.45pm)

Was almost an embarrassing result for the World Cup holders on Thursday night as they battled back from 2-0 down to salvage a draw against an Iceland side who have been struggling. Today they welcome another struggling side – step forward Germany.

Holland put them to the sword as they ran out easy 3-0 winners and worryingly for the Germans, yet another game in which they have failed to score. Scoring has been a real issue for them and that was evident at the World Cup, they look slow, one-paced and a really lack any cutting edge.

The last thing you want is to be playing away to France but as the French showed on Thursday they are better in attack than they are defensively. Going forward we all know how strong the French are, they are exciting to watch and it’s hard to see them not scoring against this fragile Germany side. That said, Germany still have plenty of good players and for me are more than capable of finding the net here

Belgium v Holland (7.45pm)

This should be a cracker  – after the disappointment of missing out on the World Cup, Holland look like they'll be back competing in the Euros after a good run of results, none more so than their 3-0 demolition of Germany on Saturday.

They will have gained a huge amount of confidence from that result as they make the short trip across the border into Belgium to play a side who like France, are a pleasure to watch going forward.

I can see both sides contributing here and that should lead us to over 2.5 goals.
