IRN-BRU Cup action today and some good previews posted – can understand why Mr F has gone for QoS,
They are absolutely flying at the moment and have the hottest striker in the UK based on goals scored in Stephen Dobbie. The other games are too tough to call, unknown opposition and unknown team line-ups.
I’m going to focus on English league action.
Lincoln v Crawley
The Imps are having a terrific start to the season and sit perched at the top of the league with an impressive 16-point haul from their opening 6 games. They did a great bit of business in the summer capturing Barnet goal machine John Akinde – he’s already netted 5 times this season.
They welcome a Crawley side who aren’t too clever on their travels – they do often find the net though having scored in 14 of their last 17 away matches and I fancy them to find the net here but it will be no more than a consolation.
Lincoln are strong at home and should continue their great start to to the season. Lincoln team goals looks appealing but going take match goals at a better price with 7 of Lincoln’s last 8 going that way.
- Over 2.5 match goals
