IT MAY be a reduced card this week but still plenty of betting opportunites available

My focus on a Monday will always be on the SPFL Reserve League and the Belgium Reserve league for goals

Have a had a good look through the 8 SPFL Reserve matches (all KO 2pm) and the have picked out what i believe to be the best three for goals. That’s not to say the other matches wont have goal’s, most of them will.

The setup here has changed, its previously been an under 21 league, however its now a Reserve league meaning more older / 1st players can play so always with noting. Twitter the best place for team news and really benefits the scottish element of the site who like me, know the SPFL really well

St Mirren Res v St Johnstone Res

Its the fake Saints v’s the real Saints in Paisely today. Both sides have had similair starts, convincing home wins (5-1 and 3-0 respectively ) but both lost on their travels (5-1 and 3-2). which really doesn’t suprise me as both sides really struggled away from home last season and the Perth Saints have a horroble knack of leading games then collapsing in the last 20 mins. Expect both sides to score here in what should be a really entertaining game.

Dundee Res v Rangers Res

Its been a strong start to the campaign for these two, both have won ther opening two games and there has been no shortage of goals. 3-2 2-3 wins for Dundee whilst Rangers have won their two 5-1 and 1-2. Home advantage counts for a lot in this legaue i would say and we should expect both sides to contribute to goals.

Motherwell Res v Hibernian Res

Last but not least, my favourite side Hibs – they are the league holders and i said a few ago to back them every games as their goals per match ratio is terrfic (3-1 and 4-1 already this season). Motherwell have had a decent start two and will cause hibs problems and like the other two matches ive highlighted we should see both sides scoring at least once.

Betting Verdict:

I really like all three games and i wouldnt be suprised if all three went over 3.5 – Going to play it a bit safer and go for 2.5 goals with two singles. All with Bet365

  • St Mirren Res v St Johnstone Res over 3.5 match goals 1/1 (NAP)
  • Dundee Res v Rangers Res over 3.5 match goals 10/11
  • Back all three games over 2.5 goals 7/4

      Indeed Mr B.
You’ve done it again with the 2 Belgium reserve picks O2.5 sails in.
I put them in a treble with Darren Till to win the Welterweight title in UFC this weekend.

      Cheers

?? Greg for once Hibs only got the 1, but things moved on 2nd half. Went for the softer option of over 2.5 mgls in this and Hearts game (5-1 lol) but according to Morton twitter their match with QOS finished goalless so 5/6 in my other speculative line

      Hi nich35100

The 7 o’clock Cercle Brugge let the side down but I’ve followed Gregg on these for some time and there are more winners than losers.

Hope you picked the best ones
